When I have given points to cards, I have always tried to see the cards as a construction of these three separate things:

1) Quality of the model (according to my preferences of visual beauty)
2) Quality of the performance (not whether the model does the things I want her to do, but rather how well she does what she is supposed to do, unless her performance contains material I very much object to)
3) Technical quality (colour balance, resolution, sharpness, sound...)

For general usability, number 1) is least important. People can see what the model looks like and somebody else's review of her looks should really have no relevance on the buying decision. It really functions only as a feedback to Totem: whether you do or don't want that particular model to appear on iStripper .

Numbers 2) and 3) are much more important as motivation to other members to buy or not to buy the card.

I would like to see these three aspects of a card to be made separately reviewable. Of course that wouldn't prevent some members to ***** the system as they are doing right now, but it would perhaps make them analyse their reception of the show a bit more thoroughly.

You can't rate cards you don't own so that wouldn't work would it. The cards i rated were cards i owned and deleted. I was just testing how the system worked and it highlighted the problem with the rating system, this isn't the first thread about the ratings.

As for waiting for sale, why would I pay more than i have to?

iDancer has a setting you can uncheck, so it is NOT disable it when iStripper is Playing, so you can have both
iDancer playing with iStripper.
but you must have a music source for iDancer to play.

Since you brought up that data I decided to do more digging to see if there is any validation to istripper becoming a big boob site.

First lets look at the data in the years since the release of 3k cards on how many big boob cards were released each year.
2014: 73
2015: 135
2016: 47
2017: 46
2018: 70
2019: 112

So as we can see, 2015 was the year with the most big boob cards that were released post-3k. And in that year there were many lovely and great models. We even had Katya Clover, Melisa, and Sapphira A who were highly voted and had high ratings.

So while I think there is validity in the concerns, I just don't know how much it factors in when Viola, Lucy Li, and Nekane were all highly rated and alot of the highest rated cards were Big Boob tagged only for the next year to go down 65% in total Big Boob cards.

So my conclusion is that, is that the data shows that Big Boob cards aren't taking over or replacing consumers. Maybe the higher amount of Big Boob cards brought back some people? Girls like Eva Elfie and Kecy Hill seem like a good mix of what you would be looking for.

The ratings do factor in sales, but it does seem like consumers have an eye for what is definitely good. Belka is an example of card that got so many ratings in a short time and is the highest rated card ever with 575 votes averaging 4.89 stars.

Although I’m partial to naturale titties on the smaller size myself I do not discriminate against big titties..as long as the girl is pretty, sexy, is having fun entertaining us and the costumes are appealing to the eye. In all honesty I am an ass man first and foremost everything else is secondary but the good thing about Istripper is that they believe in variety being the spice of life. There is a tipping point, on which the anonymous rates of the collectors have a nearly decisive vote. This can have as consequence that only a certain type of models will be selected. It's like the famous wings of the butterfly, which can cause the beginning of a hurricane (a small something can lead to something very big).

I can guarentee you that totem does not care about the effects of ratings...and I have doubts that there is strong relationship between sales and ratings. You have to remember that buying and rating are two separate acts. THe people who rate tend to do it politically...either to give a 5 or 0. Every monthly sale the ratings are all screwed up because people who prebuy are angry when they get a bad card, and inevitably all cards during a presale are rated lower than they would be. Totem manages its recruiting of girls by visa availability, cost, and time availability. Then they worry about oversaturation of one fetish or another. I would have to see an actual single variable study to believe that ratings actually drive customer habits. Boobs do drive customer habits however! :)

@Z22 For me the technical quality of a card is not important, if I like the model is much more important to me than some technical stuff. And I rate all my cards between 5.0 and 4.0, with very few exceptions getting 3.5-2.0. I never rated any card 0, so I frankly don't understand the motivation for such ratings. Seems like now you will be able to rate technical quality of cards. I am not interested in that, but maybe at least you will be able to rate cards properly from your point of view. But it will be another rating system, so I don't expect it to be any better than the current one.

LOL "game the system" was just to do a test, and for me to keep track. As you can't rate cards you don't own you can't actually game the system unless you are doing it for others (this relates to the preview tab which shows cards based on their rating, cards with a higher than x rating are shown) By giving a card a 0 it drops the average and can push it below the x threshold, in practice unless a lot of people did this it doesn't work very well as you only get a 0.01 change at most.

If i am understanding Rex's post there will be seperate ratings for components of the show. There will still be people that rate 0 / 5 but that should even out as the current system does and may encourage some more thought into the rating rather than a blanket 0 because of one fault.

Sort by Date, is by DAY. it is Not Sort by time to the second.

Cards are Sorted by the DAY they were purchased on
Cards purchased on the Same DAY are then sorted by Card Number

So in the case where you were to have purchased 100 cards on the same day.
these would then be shown in order by Card number for that DAY.

Ascending or Descending order is Followed.

Descending means Newest Day first, then Highest Card Number First

also the Series affects the Order as well.

So It's Day, Series, Number

Where Descending
is Newest Day 1st then
Series letters are I, H, G, F, E, D, C, B, A
Then Card Number Highest to lowest.

Ascending order is
Oldest Day 1st
Then Series A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I
Then lower number to Higher Number

Include me among those that thought that the cards in the advent calendar this year were a particularly fine collection. I am generally not a great fan of the duo shows but this one was spectacularly good.

The sorting order of the cards should be understood as follows:

The entry in the sort box is used as the primary sort.
If there are several entries for this result (e.g. bought several cards in one day), then these cards are sorted according to the cardID.

This type of sorting applies similarly to the other entries in the sort box.

So this sorting is correct.
