Quick question for anyone that did the registry trick. Is the small size over 60% blurred at all? Over 100% full size seems less sharp at 1080p so was wondering if the same thing happens in small size. I have full size set at 95% and don't zoom over 100% box ticked even though this only affects some older cards for me.

I think the origin of the limitation lies in the algorithm used for positioning the clips in small mode.

If you have a large number active clips, the maximum allowed being 10, then they tend to all bunch up towards the middle of the screen with this tendancy increasing as the size increases. This is probably done to stop the models spending much of their time off the side of the screen. If you had any number of 100% sized clips active at once they would all be centered in the same place right in the middle of the screen. The arbitrary limit to 60% does stop the bunching becoming too ridiculous - though it is still annoying..

I don't know, but the rather long minimum time between shooting a card and its release sort of indicates that there is a lot of human work involved - it might be very expensive if you want Totem to do this for you.

But if the 'Full Size' can be at 200%, why the 'Small size' can't be made 100%.
Maybe it's a conflict with the 100% of the 'Full size', but then let it be 90% at the 'Small size' !
More options is better!

Maybe I am missing it but I don't see bugs or ideas areas which to me are the most important parts. I just checked again and didn't seem them.

Also I liked the Premium area area and the model suggestion.

Its not that big of an issue but just something I noticed. I had orginally used it some when you were first launching mobile I just don't get on discord in general that much.

The issue with iStripper stems back to gambling in the app with no information. If odds were posted regarding all games then I would have a very positive view (although some things could be changed).

I don't work in the industry but it seems like running a dual marketing campaign with these new models could be useful for both.

My issue is that Discord does not have topics it is chat. Additionally it doesn't seem to have all the areas of this forum but I haven't looked that closely.

So my concept was less about the actual editing they could still require 3rd party software (as I suspect they use something themselves) and more so about the legal ability to insert your own clips.

Additionally lots of pricing models could be had avoiding the giveaway of crown jewels.

One example to outline its "possible" is the ability for Totem to charge per clip or time allotment. So that you purchase 10 mins or 3 clips where you can then load your content. Totem could charge it out similar to their own created clips. Heck they might even be able to sell it for more unless you buy a larger pack of time/clips.

I just did the registry edit a while ago. I only run this program in "small" mode as I like the control over placement.

So now with registry backup done, you could try the instructions in this thread.

It might be the one I remember, another but it is 2.5 years since those instructions. App software has changed in that time. Got my hands full with Melisa at the moment so I am not messing with it. 😄

I seem to remember there was mentioned a way to edit a file to workaround the fixed 60% setting in the app. But I think it involved messing with the registry files and that is never a good idea if you don't know what you are doing. I was tempted, but for once thought better of it.

And about the full screen scenes, many are to large for me to download anytime soon because of my connection otherwise I'd have them all. It's fun to test them out. 👍

I still have a decent amount of credits left but idk we'll see what happens by the time I run out..I am already for the first time not sinking credits into the games to try for the SEC card because I know that it is only a all table show which really does nothing for me. The recent week and upcoming are all mostly the same kinda unappealing shows as well..I know some have had other scenes as @willyweekly noted but mostly not enough. Overall this app is not deteriorating but I think it is just evolving some of us out. It's bound to happen eventually.

The basic technique of chroma-keying, commonly called "green screen", is well known and there is nothing stopping you using it for your own videos (except maybe the cost of suitable video editing software).

I, and others here, use the technique quite often on Totem's own still photographs though in that case it is "white screen" chroma-keying not green.

However, beyond that, if Totem have developed anything specific it might be regarded as a case of a company "giving away the crown jewels".

It amuses me to see the mods trying to keep the Discord channels on-topic the same as they do on the forum. I respect their attempt and their motives, but I suspect the "real-time-y-ness" of Discord will render that a losing battle. 😆

What would be great is the ability to actually create your own clips potentially. I am just thinking for couples the ability to create clips for eachother might be a welcome mix up.

Additionally knowing the need to make money potentially the editing software could be licensed at a cost to allow it.

Why on earth would you want to upload something that is 50MB?When the server reaches Level 3 Boost, the Upload size will be 100Mb
And for any Member who subcsribes to Nitro, they Get 100MB regardless of the server boost level.

Think about full Screen Scenes
you can now upload them directly to the Thread about the Scene.
No more 3rd party ( jump through hoops ) download site needed.

Same with custom card and skins
they can be uploaded directly to the Thread for the Cards, or the Skin.

So having the Ability to upload Files of up to 100MB is a big Plus in my view.

TBH i hadn't realised that you could upload zip files which for small scenes might be helpful however as my smallest Fullscreen scenes folder is around 600Mb and many of them are in the 2+Gb region it is hardly an incentive for me. This is one of the reasons I stopped sharing my fullscreen scenes - the file size is beyond many user capabilities and certainly beyond the "free" file sharing services.

Also I was more concerned with users who have a low internet connection range. Even 3Mb can be a deterrent for some of them. Whilst most of my wallpapers are <5Mb the extra file size is useful as I don't have to reduce the quality it is still somewhat unfair on those that have low bitrate internet connections and /or download limits.

I am in absolute agreement with everything in @DrDoom9 's post.

I do not think it is deteriorating, but for some months now it has been drifting away from my particular tastes and from what brought me to be a customer in the first place.

This "drift" finally resulted in a major change, a reduction, in my buying habits about two months ago.

No, I do not think the quality of the models is deteriorating.
Everyone is correct in saying that it is entirely a matter of personal taste, which probably varies widely with the age and nationality of the subscriber.
However, fashion can change and, as a subscriber of a certain age, some of these trends do not appeal to me.

For instance, I abhor tattoos, the bigger the worse! So an otherwise very attractive model can, in my view, become a 'no-buy' because of the tattoos. I have only been able to overcome this predjudice with absolutely stunning girls dressed in outfits that turn me on (e.g. Camila Chix).

Then there is the BDSM tendency. Some of the outfits are just silly, even ugly, and despoil an otherwise attractive model. A hint of menace can be attractive, but sometime it can go over the top.

Give me the 'clean-and-fresh' look any day (Nancy A), perhaps with a glint of the mischievous (Zazie Skymm), or seductively suggestive.
Eye-contact is also very important (Sasha Meow). So is the occasional smile ir even laughter after a dancing 'accident (Issuzu),

I prefer the classic long blond-haired, usually Russian, Czech or Hungarian, models. Tall models are rarer, but very elegant (Verena Maxima, Zlata Shine). I like traditional clothing - belt, stockings, heels. I also prefer genuine full strip-tease, rather than the 'start-nude' clips. I would like more dresses, with suggestive revellations of what lies beneath. I often appreciate the demo no-nudity clips. And a good dancer in a bikini or swimsuit (Viki) is a pleasure to behold!

So, I would say the standard of model has not really changed - just the change in fashion in an attempt to provide something new - which often fails with me more often now than it once did.

I never said that there were no advantages and even said that Discord probably provided better versions of the forum's functions - but the advantages are not those that @Celine listed as if they were things that forum did not provide.

As I see it there are very large advantages for Totem (mainly in not having to maintain the Forum software which has long had major problems regarding its search function), some advantages for most users and also some disadvantages for some users.

A discord Member can set their own Visibility level, even to invisible.

That is good - but it's not what @celine stated, which was that it was an advantage to see who was on-line (and hence who will immediately "hear" what you have to say and who will not) not just some of them.

Real time text chat between members used to be possible in VGHD, and I have effectively done it here in the Forum with you and others - I get an immediate Windows pop-up when someone responds to a message so it can be "real time" if the participants want it to be.

I see no reason why it could not be "real time" via the iStripper app or web site. That it is not used that way does not mean that the feature does not exist.

Happens in Real Time on Discord

Real Time is, to me, not a benefit. I won't spend all day with Discord in the background, preparing to distract me, which is already far too easy to accomplish. I will use it the same as the "static" Forum, dropping in, browsing threads, and moving on after a few minutes.

Used in this way, Discord becomes inconvenient because it quickly becomes hard to sift through the posts that have built up since my last check-in. Participating in conversation becomes pointless because the conversations are hours old--which, unlike on the forum, is the distant past. This is, of course, not an argument against the use of Discord generally; it's just an explanation of why it isn't great for me, personally.

So basically, I guess what I'm saying is: "get off my lawn." 😂

2 - access it thru your browser or from their app on your computer and your mobile
2a - (which means you get way faster help from other members!)

3 - see who is currently online

4 - exchange private messages with other members

5 - get instantly notified of important news like reload bonus, fansign, giveaways and so on

6 - you can even have voice conversations with other members if you like !

All this, in the same place !
