i have now Virtua Guy skin in the VG software but i have some problems with it. First i could not on the side of VG or Desk Babes with an URL error that could not be find. Now i can on the side of VG again but downloads of my own cards are not more possible and crash always. Demos are also not possible they crash too. Synchronize with server end with an error. I want Virtua Guy no more and should be happy to load my own cards again.

Let me start this post by stating that I firmly believe we need moderators and guidelines on how to behave in this community. That said let me play the devils advocate for a moment.
(and pleas read the whole post before going all bonanza over what I write)

Why do we need moderators? Aren't their task just to censor free speech in this community?
(note: this is a rhetorical question)

Now, bare with me and remember English isn't my native language. (even if I'm pretty good at it *s*)

Just as the Team have set up guidelines on how members should behave in this community I find it natural for the Team to set up guidelines on how the models should behave in order for them to be safe and for Totem to earn as much money as possible.

REX posted above that in the beginning the girls had no guidance when it came to guns, and that resulted in some clips certain members found offensive. Me being one of them. If the Team now have set guidelines, concerning guns, for the girls to follow I think this is a good thing, just as I think it's a good idea to have guidelines and moderators for this community.

To go and yell censorship isn't a productive approach. Instead we should wait and see what these new guidelines really mean AND if we don't like the result raise our voice and ask for them to be changed. Just like the person starting this thread did by making a poll.

We are all here to enjoy the girls and personally I think the Team is doing a great job bringing us the most beautiful and charming girls to our desktops. Let's all try and remember that to keep things in perspective. =)

It could be interesting to make something different to VG, i thing Virtual Boy Show should be nice specially for women but also for gays who don' t really like to watch woman. There is a Show in Las Vegas The Chippendales Show. I think a Show in this style could be interesting. Some guys like me are something bisexual and i like to watch nice man too. You're comparing Rambo movies to a small percentage of shows on VG. See where your logic fails? People are much more easily influenced by Rambo because lots of people want to BE Rambo. Anyway, those 18 yr old members are too busy beating their dicks to take lessons how to fire a gun from a desktop stripper. And besides, those same kids have been playing GTA and other ***** video games since they were 12. But even then, most of them DO realize its just a game and not real life. So while I understand your concern, your aim should be towards bad parents that let their kids do whatever the hell they want and never teach them to regard other people.

Not Everyone who is a member of this site is in their forties or fifties
There could indeed be members who are literally just 18 and who could be handling guns for the first time (and blow off their own nadgers)

To all. Who's talking about changing the product? This topic is just in "Everything about..." thread, not even in Ideas. One of our fellow members just wanted to know, if there are some more people with similar preferences to him and started a poll, posted a simple question, not a suggestion to change anything in a program nor in Totem's policies. Three options to choose, that's all, but what a mess...

OK, let me add my 2 cents and it has very little to do with guns.

I think Totem should publish a wide variety of cards including some that some members probably won't like. The risk is that some cards may not sell too well. The payoff is an occasional "out of the box" success. To try to please everyone is to narrow your customer base to eventually one unhappy customer.

Certainly Totem should pay attention to what the market actually buys and most of the cards it makes should be based on this understanding, but Totem should at least occasionally try something else. It's the only way to discover new tastes.

I'm not real happy with models with guns, but I have purchased a number of cards of that type. I can decide what I like and occasionally waste a credit on something I don't like. I'd like to have to opportunity to choose from the widest possible variety of cards.

What's next?

What's the point to have a prop and not using it? More than that, what's the point to have a prop in an adult performance and not using it in a sexy way or to tease the viewer? When this site started to emulate a high school musical? When "veracity" had anything to do with porn?

Rex, your audience is an adult audience, an adult audience looking for sexy and sexual entertainment. No directive about the shows content should ever be based upon other thing than effective, quality, erotic entertainment.

Each and every model I saw here eating an ice-cream cone was not just "eating" it, she was teasing with it. I don't care if she knows the righ way to eat an ice-cream cone or if she is eating it following the good manners or the etiquette. The ice-cream cone is there to add something funny and kinky to her performance. And each and every prop, no matter what it is, should serve the same objective or is just a waste of time and end up looking dumb. Roleplaying is nice to see when the model has some acting skills, but still she must end up using everything to deliver the hot stuff, not to gather some applause as if she was doing some school play for her parents and teachers.

Don't misunderstand me here. I do not like guns, and I delete most of those clips, but if they are used in a proper way they can add something to an outfit (like the card by Karina I mentioned above). It's the careless use by models without any guidance I'm against. In that sense I'm glad that the Team has added some restrictions on the use of guns.

I haven't expressed my Opinion here.
I think the model Holding / Pointing / using a Gun is Appropriate if the Outfit supports that sort of Role.

She is an Actress, putting on a performance. It's Role play, getting into Character..

Of course, holding the gun, and Using it in an Inappropriate manner are two different things..
You would never hold and then look down the Barrel.. Or Point it at your self..
or insert it as a phallus

But Role Play / Getting in to Character, by Holding, Aiming, Shooting...
I find that perfectly acceptable.

Interactive props are good. They help a model focus, feel more comfortable playacting and can build a sense of fun that people enjoy...

Static props are really just eye candy and don't add anything to a show...

Both have merits and detractions. You're about to make something interactive, static... please stop...

We're based in France, most girls are from eastern Europe and our sensibility to guns is different because they are not a problem here.

In the past we let the girls use the guns without any real control, so whatever they found fun ended on the screen.

It has been changed for a while now, you can still see guns in model's outfits as an accessory if it makes sense, but they won't hold it anymore.

Also, we never used any real guns, they're all BB guns replicas.

That question was meant rhetorical as we all know there's not one simple answer to that question. We all are influenced by all we see and experience and we are all accountable for our own actions.

That said every person with authority to decide what is aired in news, every person who decide what toys or video games to release, and every single clip that Totem release, they have to be prepared to stand accountable for. It's as simple as that and still it's one giant greyzone... walking through a minefield blindfolded in a thick fog. Cause you never know how people will react.

I still find it a bit hilarious. Here I am again, posting ONE single post, and everyone goes nuts... What do you think of me? I'm not God and I have NO say in what Totem does with their products.
