38) "Blank" cards on the "My collection" panel.

On the "My collection" panel some cards, namely those which Totem can no longer sell such as those for Alizee or Miss Roxx, are displayed either as blank or with just the outline of a girl's head and shoulders. The reasons for not showing the actual girl are well understood by me but until you check what card it is, and even then only if you know the reason, it looks like an error - especialy those cards that are completely blank. Some sort of more informative text such as "no longer available from Totem" on the card, or perhaps a longer pop-up message when the mouse is hovering over one, would be appreciated.

It would also be appreciated if these cards did not automatically match any filter.

39) Provide a higher level "Models" view of "My collection"

Currently the "My collection" panel shows the collection at the level of individual cards. For large collections it would be convenient if this could optionaly be changed so that each model was represented by a single image. This would greatly reduce the "visual search space" required to browse the collection.

Each of the model images could then offer the option to "open" it to see the cards for that model - which would be like the current "My collection" view with only the cards for that model shown. It should be possible to select multiple models models and open them all at the same time.

Don't give up on IStriiper yet. If you have a regular credit card, you should be able to buy more credits. And credits = more cards to buy. This is a good thing, because the site is a private network. This means, the credit card numbers only go to IStripper. I hope this information helps.

done. Im a double diamond member and now I CAN'T BUY MORE CARDS because since the new iStripper they remove the CCBILL buying option that is the one that works for my in my bank.

So sad that the first weeks using iStripper have been so BAD experiencie in many levels and points...

It may well cycle through all the clips, but it doesn't cycle through them in order (i.e., from non-nude to full nudity), at least not on my iMac in Desktop mode. Even with the Repeat box checked and the Random box unchecked, it still selects the clips at random. That's a major disappointment as I thought the new version would allow you to do that. I still find the new version to be an improvement overall, however.

On the Now Playing Tab.
***** the Model Card of your Choice to NEXT
you can actually Add multiple cards from the same Model if you want
Click on Repeat and Click on Random

On Full Screen,
Click on the Folder to Open the Scene's Folder..
in the Backgrounds2D folder, Make a Copy of the SCN file so you Have Two Copies of it...
Close the folder...
Only put a Check in BOTH of the 2D scenes

Edit the registry Setting MinmumnShowDuration to Decimal 10000

Start the Full Screen using the PLAY button at the top, NOT the start Button on the scene.

With Every Right Click, you will get a New Background, as long as 10 seconds have passed
and a New Outfit from the Selected Card or Cards on the NEXT list.

I have recently downloaded istripper 1.2.114 and am getting used to the changes.

However I have found one thing that is annoying to me.

The tabs at the right hand side (Now Playing & Playlists) overlap the slider bar. This is okay when you have a hold of the slider but if you release it when it is behind the tabs you can't get a hold of it again. (Hence annoying)

It would be nice if in a future version the tabs were to the right of the slider bar. (If this has been mentioned before my apologies)

Apart from that I am liking the new software, keep up the good work. ;-D

In .84 I had full screen set up for only two options - 2d and perforations. I did so to be able to right click and advance through the many custom backgrounds I had created for 2-d viewing. I needed perforations to come up in order to advance through the choices of background in 2d. During these right clicks, the model and show would remain the same, only the clip would change. In I Stripper, the Model Changes! Please tell me that there's a way to keep the model I chose while I toggle through backgrounds to the one of my choice. If there is no way to do that now, I suggest that an easy way to accomplish that is to allow a one model playlist to be be established buy the user and let that model appear exclusively in the 2-d full screen. Please try to get this done.

I'm not sure I understand your message. It makes sense to me the iStripper will periodically update the contents of the names.xml file. I haven't done an exhaustive check, but an eyeball scan of the file appears to show that it is in order by card id. However, my Visual BASIC code does not depend on the card order so I don't think I need to care about this. Have I missed something?

I can see that trying to read the names.xml file while iStripper is updating it could be a problem, but this seems to be a rare event and I didn't bother to test for it. The simple solution would be to only read while iStripper is shut down. This is what I do when I work with the models.lst file.

When you read the file "names.xml" then is there a problem. Anytime when iStripper is starting will change the order of 'uid', 'models' and 'outfit'.
You can check this when you read the file "names.xml". Close and restart iStripper and read the file.

You need to identificated the order of this values. And than you can read this values.

This is a batch script (Windows) with the same problem.

Here the same cards. I only have change the classic card.
Please see the small picttures that are using in user profile (right side).
In iStripper version 1.2.114 have change how the cards are displayed.

In the old version have you can see if the card in 480p/720p resolution (VirttuaGirl style cards), 1080p resolution (logo with black font) or in 3K resolution (logo with white font).

Please understand that the picture in user profile not are custom pictures (replacemaent picture). Also you can not see the 34 cards that are not anymore available to buy.

Please check your own profile. In your collection is card a0003. This picture have the VirtuaGirl logo and is covered with the black font iStripper logo.
You will the the same thing as in my picture with Sharka Blue (a0226) in my last posting.

There are a number of member created clip players, authorised by the Totem Team for use by us paying members. These clip managers will allow you to see and select any clip from a card you own.
Wyldanimal and Starryk are 2 of the guys who have done this for us all. I won't say any player is better than any other but one of these players/managers should help you.

Try a search for Clip Manager or Clip Player and make your own choice :)

Just found something else but not sure if this works below Platinum level...

In the settings tab (Cogwheel, top right), scroll down till you see the Display tab. There's an option to 'Display Clips' there. If that doesn't work, then you need to be a Platinum or above member. Sorry :(

iStripper does not use an istripper logo on classic cards.
Even cards of this series that I do not own and never previewed show the virtuagirlclassic logo.

A while ago, Rex told us he would have the Team look at making iStripper skin-able. I believe he said there was something in the works that would at least allow a change of model pic on the left side of the screen :)

I don't know when this will happen but I'm pretty sure it WILL happen :D

Steve is correct. Or at least with the 'OLD' Virtuagirl system, we only gained access to the clip selector at Platinum level (100 cards+). I have no way of checking if this still happens with the new iStripper without signing up for another account :/ I don't really want to do that right now ...

The Line input command reads all the contents of the file until it finds a New Line or Return Character.(vbLf, vbCrLf) and the names.xml seems not to have any of such.

This may be a Mac vs. Windows issue. On my Mac the names.xml file has a Line Feed (CHR 10) at the end of each line but no Carriage Return (CHR 13). Most systems treat either a Line Feed or a Carriage Return as a new line, but I know that some Microsoft Windows applications require both. XML files do not require new line characters, but good practice is to include them for readability.

As a first step, I suggest you open the models.lst file in a text editor like word pad and save it with a new name. That will ususally ***** Windows to replace a single LF with the required LF-CR combination.

As a second step, examine the models.lst to see what it looks like. If you have a tool that will report the contents of the file byte-by-byte, check to see if there is a byte with a decimal value of 10 at the end of each line. XML files are ASCII code and are usually easy to read.

If the names.xml file does not contain either LF or CR characters, you can open the file as a binary file and assemble lines by reading once byte at a time until you encounter a 2-byte sequence with the characters "/>". That should work.

Now, lets see why the 'load names' does not works.

So, when you do the first Line Input, the whole document is read and you have reached the EOF. So next Line input gives an error of EOF.

You can check it by means of Debug.print. It seems also that the retrieved file is not complete, probably because the file is too long and it exceeds the number of bytes accepted.

I hope this helps for new recherches.

from Spiderman1804's picture that Sharka Blue card logo problem for example can be resolved by deleting the card image files from the data/a0226 folder. this will ***** the correct logo free image iStripper actually uses to be downloaded again from Totem's servers. iStripper overlays different style logos dependent on which series the card belongs to. the exception to the overlay rule are custom cards

I have also tested both the ‘playlist load’ and the ‘create playlist’ code of yours and they work perfectly.

I have supposed that in both cases (vpl file to read and exported created vpl file) the files are located in the same folder as the Excel Playlist manager. I also added to ‘load playlist’ an Inputbox to type the vpl original file name and I provided also an initial Clearcontents for the spreadsheet.

Now, the main thing is that, up to now, the ‘load names for ‘names.xml’ does not work at all (I’ll explain later what is the problem). So, I changed the ‘create playlist’ In order to read directly from the first column of the spreadsheet the number of the cards (vg: a0347) which had been previously allocated in the first column.

To do the tests I used a playlist of my own which includes only cards (not individual clips) because they are the result of converting the pfl files into vpl files using the IStripper program.

The test have been successful.

On attached image the old prices 2015 which earlier was posted by WildAnimal. A now everyone can compare them with current prices posted above (new prices and credits multiplied by 10).

The problem about which I just mentioned is also true of deskbabes cards. The cards in the profile have both deskbabes logo and istripper logo.

I closed the program and deleted the cache file.
After reopening the program and getting to my profile, the pictures are still the same.

I can say that this is true for lots of older cards (toward the back end of the collection as seen in the profile). But, the more recent cards (at the front end of the collection as seen in the profile) have only the istripper logo. In reality, I have made a customized card picture for every single card in my collection, except the classics which do not need changing.

Do you have access to the list of clips? ... I thought this feature was available with a higher member-level.
The current, Playing Now, clip is shaded green.

There are some clips I would like to delete , but I never know which clip is playing. If the clip number was displayed while it is being played, it would make the job much easier and more certain that I've got the right one.
Please comment if you have an alternative idea.

I think I get the error immediately, on the first read.
I appreciate that you are a MAC user, so do not trouble yourself further. It must be something to do with my Excel 2016 installation or my security settings because, as you say, @JoaXim and @spiderman1804 report that your code works fine.

the price depends on your collection level, the more cards you purchase the cheaper they get. you currently benefit from a 30% reduction for being a Platinum member. When you have over 300 cards (Diamond status) you will have a 35% reduction, over 750 (Double Diamond) you get 40% reduction and over 1500 (Triple Diamond) it is 45%.

1.38 would be 13.80 in the new system.

Was having issues logging onto the forums so took a long time to see the replies. So even despite the past credits being multiplied by 10 it looks like the cost for credit remains the old amount. From what I can see this means 5$ gets you credits for just over 1 show as new costs are 17.50 credits. Am I hugely missing something? I see Arseno's explanation saying it's the same price, but where are you getting these 1.38 credit numbers from? Looking at previous messages, I see that @JoaXim uses Windows 10 and Excel 2013. I also see that @spiderman1804 userProfile.php?usLogin=spiderman1804 reports the code works in his version of Excel.

I just thought of something: Microsoft keeps increasing the security constraints of their products. Visual BASIC has been a vulnerability for hackers in the past. It is possible that your verison of Excel has security features that must be disabled for that code to work. I do not have that version of Exel so I can't tell you if that is true and I can't tell you where any override might be located.

I am puzzled. That function should work in Excel. It does on my Mac and @JoaXim reports it works in Windows, but I don't know what version of Windows or Excel he uses. It is possible that Excel 2016 no longer supports this function, but that seems unlikely.

I do very little programming in Windows, so I can't offer much help. Do you know what error occurred at that line of code? Did it happen at the first occurrance or after the playlist was nearly loaded? Do you have read access to the file you were trying to read?

In this version (1.2.114) I'm not using the playist. Any cards that a will see are activated in the card list. See picture.

When only one or two girls are to activated is not a problem. But when you will activated any card in playlist with 100 cards and more then is this a problem.
How you can read a playlist file can see in Dorsai6 posting.

In iStripper deactivated any card. Use the Search box with a special serch string to display the cards and activated this cards.

To search for the cards of Maggie you can also use this search string:
a0029|a0030|a0031|a0032|a0033|a0034

In the search string can see any CardID sepearted with the pipe symbol. There is no space in this string.
I think that is possible in Excel to make this string. I'm not sure where the max of cards is in Excel.
In iStripper can use this type of string (complete CardID visible) with more as 2000 cards.

The same search can use with a short string: a00(29|3[0-4])

I am a novice with VBA and Excel, but I have got a few functions to work in the past.
I tried to put Load_playlist() into MS Excel 2016 and it failed on the statement
input_data = Input(4, #1)

Looking up the Input function on MS site, it seems to apply to MS Access only.
I do have MS Access, but I have never used it.

Even though I am a Windows 10 user, can you suggest what I might do to get Load_playlist to work please?
