i have a few missing cards in my collection alizee cards and pricilla jones cards? is there a reason they are not available?

I have just finished downloading Asia #79, and it has a red banner saying coming soon on it and not allowing me to play.

28) Provide a way to spin a carousel.
Fun but not for now

Use the keyboard. Left and right arrow moves the carousel. Hold one of them down and auto-repeat will spin the carousel. After a few seconds release the key. The carousel will shortly stop spinning. I doubt that any human can predict where it will stop.

I just noticed... mouse wheel works too. But the keyboard solution is better.

They may be writing code and they may be paid for it, but I don't like to call them programmers. Programmers should consider the usability and maintainability of the code they write.

You're right that adding usability features adds to the expense of software and I've occasionally left out such features when operating under a deadline, but it is unprofessional. My ideal error message should tell the user enough in terms the user can understand to allow the user to correct the problem. I know that can not always be done, but I think it is a goal worth keeping in mind.

But regarding more or less cosmetic changes mentioned above I would kindly ask to add such level of controls (or advanced option for power users to enable such feature in settings) in not so distant future.
I think it will improve the overall usage. The second level menu with target screen selection should be disabled by default on single screen setup.

Just click "print screen" button on keyboard and it will copy a screenshot so you can paste it for example into paint.

I think the vast majority are gay or bi men but there are some straight and bi female users for sure.

I was thinking the same thing Emu when I read this. I was thinking "guystripper" and just make the "g" "y" or the "i" letter red like istripper is. Gay stripper seems a bit harsh now a days and as a software title that both genders could use.

There's a screen capture app in windows 10 called "snipping tool", That's what I've used. I don't know of another default one. You can find the app under "All apps / windows accessories"

Why not, what’s the other members take on the name of this?

Since they were first used in VG, I've felt that Large mode, Small mode and Full Screen were poorly named. I would have called them Single Card, Multi-Card and Custom Background. However, the current names are distinct and not a big issue for me.

This is the kind of issue where Totem would benefit by asking the community for comments and feedback during the early stages of design long before things are coded. It is also an area where language differences should be addressed with the user community.

From the Mac beta 115. Cap 1 shows scroll bar just visible above the Now Playing tab. Cap 2 shows it hidden behind the tab. Placing any control on top of another is bad design. Sometime bad design is necessary, but not in this case.

Even if I own just a few VirtuaGuy-cards, I'm glad it's still supported. (Any new cards ahead? New interface, new attempt?)

We plan to release a new .120 version by the end of july that will featureskins for iStripper (an additional column on the left and the ability to change the color palette used in the software)

JonC001's screen captures show the main problem. There are also tmes when no scroll bar are visible at all, but it becomes visible when the mousepointer is in the panel with the scroll bar. At first I thought the pointer had to be on the scroll bar itself, but that is because I was bringing it in from the side so the first thing it reached was the scroll bar.

The red bar is visible between tabs in the my collection and the store. But it goes into hiding as I am sure you can see when scrolled up or down.
The dark gray bar is visible between tabs in the help user manual. This will also go into hiding when scrolled up or down.

We've been re-designing some of the older cards, that's why you can get different loos on different computers.
I'm guessing one of your computer downloaded the cards a while ago.

Thank you for your quick reply, and amy very happy that many of the points raised are already in hand. Several of the others were simply things that you might consider at some point of time in the future.

With regard to point 5) it really is very awkward at the moment to look at the details of a number of girls requiring many mouse clicks to do very simple things. Other users have already commented on this and, and I presume they, would greatlly appreciate it if it could be made easier.

With regard to 7) I know what the levels of eroticism are, but the names are still ***** and ought to be explained to new users, preferably without them having to read a manual because far to may people don't bother to read them anyway. A simple pop-up on a help button labelled [?] would eliminate a lot of *****.

With regard to 9) I have no problem with using control-A, but judging from posts from other users it was not obvious to them and some have laboriously selected every card individualy. As I said the method should preferably be obvious, not just available if you know about it.

For 17) my OS setting is metric, and that is what I want for most programs, but not for the girls vital statistics and height. I think you should defalt to the OS setting, but allow it to be overriden.

For 21) "Full screen" is an accurate name for how you implement the mode but it is equally applicable, and arguably more applicable, to the mode in which you show a single girl on the desktop. Its an implementation detail, not a user level thing. For a user the more important aspect is that they are "scenes" irrespective of whether they are full screen or not. There is nothing inherent in "scenes" that requires full screen and they could equally well be shown in a resizable window much as you do for the previews. Any such change would, of course, be for the distant future but it would then certainly be wrong to call them full screen.

For 23) it would help greatly if any time a message was logged there was an indication of the card or clip and, if applicable, the .scn file. This information could be on a secondary message which, assuing that you have a central error message logger, was automatically generated when any error was logged. As it is I have a log with lots of error messages about problems in various .scn files but have no idea which .scn files they were. Alternatively a single message every time a new scene is started would help even though there might be a lot of them.

For 24) I was refering to the arrowheads. When I first saw the ne carrousels I thought that they were meant to be how you rotated it and it took me some time to find out how it was supposed to used. I take the view that if I can make a mistake like this then so can other new users.

28) was indeed just intended as a fun feature.

29) Tabs for the forum would be nice, but I can always use the website instead.

30) The only real problem with the download list was when I was downloading a lot of new cards (20 or 30 of them) and found it hard to find which were currently being downloaded. The other things I mentioned with just nice to have features, similar to equivalent features in the Firefox downloads list.

14) I agree that more information is not always better, but as you will see from a couple of bug reports I recently posted I have encountered problems regarding what clips are played and in waht order, so perhaps I am a bit over sensiive to this lack of data. I still think it would be a good idea as long as it was kept neat.

I added it to the backlog here but that’s not a priority given all the things to do already

9) A quick and obvious way to select/deselect all displayed cards is needed.
Why does the average user need to select all the card? Why Ctrl+A is not enough? I’m not a fan of adding one extra button per function in the software as is makes it more complicated.

Thanks for posting, DarkZephyr.  I have been wondering how it would work with VirtuaGuy.  As a partial solution, I suggest that Totem rename "Girls Store" to simply "Store".  I remember that a few users have both VirtuaGuy and VirtuaGirl.  The new term "iStripper" is actually gender neutral.  So another choice might be "iStripper Store".

It's also interesting that you can switch back with only the pop-ups.  I thought the old software had timed-out by now.

You're welcome! I was surprised it hadn't been asked yet! As for the switching back, I found that I could indeed do so, much to my relief. Everything seems to work just fine, despite the popup which vanishes after you click on it (not the link part).

I can understand Virtuaguy customers don't necessarily want to see boobs in their faces, just as I would prefer not to see naked men in my Store tab.

I guess you could stretch the striptease icon (with a bit of imagination) to being a pair of moobs? Joking aside a gender neutral approach would be wise. Quite what you would use as the icon I don't know.

Maybe with the implementation of skins or part skinning options in the future something can be done with the icons too?

And one final observation before I loose unrestricted network access for about a month.

41) The card descriptions often no longer match the cards. For example the most recent card that I downloaded (Selena Santana/Bad Girl) described her as Santa favourite christmas elf, in a mini skirt and with white stockings - but the card has her as a devil, in hot pants and with long black boots. There seem to be a lot of similar cases where one description has been re-used for several cards even though it it is wildly wrong for all but one of them.

Similarly the descriptions for the more recent Natalia cards begin "All away across the Atlantic ocean" even though for us Europeans she is not.

I think you misunderstand. I do want immediately visible messages, not just one in the log file, but not ones that says ERROR, but one that gently explains "I can not do xxxxx because yyyyy". ***** is certainly an overreaction, but I have seen my sister become somewhat agitated by the normal Windows popup that is displayed when ***** a Pictures directory off a USB stick to somewhere where a there is already a Pictures directory even though she knew that the USB stick just had the pictures that had been missing the first time she had copied the directory half an hour earlier. This even though the message simply asked if she wanted to merge the two directories or create a new one. I ***** to think how she would have reacted if it had said "ERROR: Directory already exists". Some people just overract to these things, but thats why messages should be "friendly" and explain thing at the correct level.

I am also a programmer, and have been for 45 years, when i started it was reasonable to report internal failures as errors because the only users were other programmers, but this attitude should have disappeared a long time ago. Things reported to the user should do so at the appropriate level, just because an internal operation returned an errorcode does not mean that there was an error at the higher level.

I am well aware that it is possible to control the network traffic, and could easily do it for myself if I needed to, but most iStripper users could not and are probably unaware that there is the possibility that others could see that they were connecting to the iStripper server just by starting the program. If there is a "stealth" mode then it ought to be stealthy.

I took the plunge and installed it. Good news is that my cards work with the software. The bad news is that its definitely boobs in my face and my dancers are called "girls" and the striptease icon is a set of boobs and there seems to be no option to access the guy store instead of the girl store. I hope we get an update that is VirtuaGuyHD specific. Til then I am going back to the outdated VirtuaGuy software even though I keep getting a message that its expired. :(

I can't see if this question was asked anywhere when doing a search, so what does the new iStripper software mean for VirtuaGuy customers? Will the software work for our guys? Also, if so, will we be stuck with a program interface skin that will show big boobed females in our faces instead of the guys? I don't want to uninstall VirtuaGuy and install iStripper only to discover that I can never use my cards again. That happened to me once several years ago when I had some cards from the original incarnation of VirtuaGuy. I uninstalled the software only to find later when I was in the mood to use it again that it was completely replaced with a newer program and I had no access to my original guys ever again. Well, if you want you can actually disable all network traffic for one program (or more) as you wish. Maybe it is not so easy as a click on "offline" button but possible. First option is by rules of windows firewall. Second by rules of firewall integrated in most antivirus software available like Symantec Norton, Kasperski, etc. There are also options to do this by administrative tools but I think on pro and server versions of systems only. It is not hard but it takes too much time to go through many windows to get inside a list to add/remove app from the list to be as convenient like a button click ;)

Regarding the no network error. Well, there are different error levels to ***** from each is overreaction ;)
I think best solution would be the button on top taskbak with online/offline text. Setting it offline would stop messages but on online I would like to know (and support as well) why I cannot access for example the forum because there a several possibilities and most normal users doesn't even know that there is a log file. But point of view depends on where one sits as we say in my country. I look on this as a programmer and error messages are for my benefit and great help for me. As for power user view also - he can quickly diagnose and solve problem for himself. then there are less advanced users to totally "green" - they call/write to helpdesk and say they have error no. Otherwise you would have to remotely access each machine (if that user is able to install teamviewer or sth and it happend that I had to come myself because some are not able or to scared as you written to do so but anyway error code number allows me to prepare...) From my experience nobody can satisfy everybody.

I remember when years ago my fathers boss got online banking access where as it is normal nowadays you input only some chars from your password each time a bit different set like 1,2,7,9th but he always tried to write 1,2,3... on available fields locking the access after 3 failed attempts. We may laugh from this now but he wasn't alone in this. Usually good manual solves most of problems and they had really bad one :)

Don't give up on IStriiper yet. If you have a regular credit card, you should be able to buy more credits. And credits = more cards to buy. This is a good thing, because the site is a private network. This means, the credit card numbers only go to IStripper. I hope this information helps.

Sadly this is not the solution. Netbilling and EPROM are banned in my country and any try to charge in those sites a credit card is blocked, I ask and the bank says that for security reasons they can't allow any credit card process in those 2 sites..

XXX cards with UHD resolution have different backgrounds if sb doesn't use replacement cards.

@xextended - yeah true, it was just a thought and I didn't look that closely at the screenshots. This is an example of what I have on both installations from the data folder, I've never seen any with blue backgrounds. Was the blue background a new design that was rolled out to the old Deskbabes client after I switched to iStripper? I've been using it since the second beta release.

I'll make all the up to 1080p Deskbabes cards with different colour backgrounds when I get round to them next. The single colour looks boring to me.
