I´ve been following this whole vspolls situation here and I´d had the time to think about many things.
1).- This is an entertainment site and vspolls started as a part of this entertainment and at the first I enjoyed and even I posted about three vspolls. Making the presentation, choosing the best photos, trying to give a highest difficult level of thinking about who do you like more was funny.
2).- Suddenly vspolls became some kind of fever and there were more than 2 or 3 at the week because everybody wanted to create a challenge under their own point of view. Here is where the problem started.
3).- Tacia wanted to organized the way we should work to avoid any problem with moderators and Totem so he, other two or three members and I were agree to create some internal rules for us.
4).- Then a member started ***** about the repeating girls on polls. And he was right about it, BUT the way he suggested it wasn´t the best way to doit. Suddenly it was like a demand more than a suggestion as if he was our boss or something like that. Anyway we agree just taking note about the suggestion and not answer in a way that could start any conflict. This was after the problem known for everyone here.
5).- Mods have explaining us once and again the big amount of problems this polls had generated to themselves and they right. If I´d be in your place maybe I´d quit because it´s too much, you have been too patience and we appreciate it.
6).- Then some other member commented something that really made think and this is really important because it never crossed my mind. Comparison could be offensive for some girls. Comparison is offensive for itself.
Honesty it never was our intention to offend any girl here but he is right. You see; man is always competing and we always do it just for fun but woman could see it in different way. We are not trying to ***** someone´s feelings. As tacia said it once “we love all this girls” Well if my polls offended any girl here I beg them to forgive me. I repeat: offending never crossed our minds.
The forum is some kind a play yard where we are gladly invited as long as we stick to the Terms and conditions. And this is the most important part “as long as we stick to the Terms and conditions” so if we want to play here we have to be conscious of this principal rule.
I live in a country where people ***** each other everywhere, you find problems each second, problems get to you for free. The only place I find some of peace, calm and entertainment is here and I don´t want any problems with Totem, the Mods or the entire community. So in order to stop more problems I quit posting polls must of all for the point number 6.
Cheers, peace and greetings everyone. Thank you
tacia

August has been an interesting month so far in the forum. It began in a swirl of controversy, with VsPolls at the heart of the matter. The VsPolls were the hottest thing in July, and the mods were trying to slow the flow.

The whole poll business started sedately enough. In June there were only 2 VsPolls, both by Albee666. 178 members voted in those VsPolls, which were open for about 6 weeks. A new type of VsPoll appeared in late June, with a twist: UserArtwork had been added. These were produced once a week, and after 5 weeks there were 5 VsPolls. 689 votes were cast for the initial 3 UserArtwork VsPolls.

Then the floodgates opened! The 4th UserArtwork VsPoll debuted on Friday Eve as usual. Except this was Friday the 13th, and it lived up to its superstitious billing! 4 other members jumped in and opened 6 new VsPolls in 4 days. Most but not all of the new Polls incorporated UserArt. The forum was swimming in polls! The average number of polls per day was 1.5. Keep this number in mind.

That chaotic situation resulted some of the pollsters getting together to coordinate their activities. The original 4 members of the VsPoll team agreed among themselves on models and publication dates. Stemming from that planning, 11 new VsPolls were released during the remainder of July. 2 were in a brand new category, Everything about DeskBabes.

After the VsPoll team formed, the average number of polls per day for the rest of July was reduced from 1.5 to .64, cut by more than half because of the VsPoll team’s scheduling efforts.

But now there were 23 VsPolls active, and even though the production rate was falling the total numbers kept rising. And other polls, by non-team members, kept cropping up and causing duplications and cancellations of entire ‘ready-to-go’ shows. But the VsPoll team not only worked around the other polls, but still managed to lower the rate at which new polls were appearing.

In the last 9 days only 4 VsPolls have been posted. That is .44 polls per day. We, the VsPoll team, have done what the mods have asked. Instead of thanking us for cooperating, they claim we are not. The numbers, the facts clearly show otherwise.

I will post the complete History of the UserArtwork VsPolls so that the above data can be confirmed.
