I think the Biggest Hurdles 1st time Users have..

1. My Player Does NOT control the ON / Off of Totem's GUI
If the "V" is Black
Nothing will happen when you Click Dance 4 Me, that you Can see..
It does put a clip name in the One Clip CUE, and when VG GUI is turned ON
that Clip will play..

So the user must Control the "V" manually..
The User clicks on Totem's "V" to turn it On, or Off.



2. In Single Clip selection, VG GUI will also play Clips from any Cards that are Active.. So this can ***** a first time user of "The-player"

??? I didn't select that card, why is it playing ???

The Best Way to use "The-Player" in Single Clip Selection.
is to Deactivate all of the Cards in the My Collection screen of the GUI, and on the Advance Setting screen, un-Check the Automatically play Demo's Box.

You Don't have to Do this, but for Single clip selection I recommend it.

If you Don't, then While you Are taking time to Select a Clip to Play, the VG GUI will also Select a Random clip of it's own..

The Clip you Select will be added to the One clip CUE, and it will play NEXT, after the once VG selected is done playing..


Once you start using the Favorite List and Play back mode of "The-player"
Deactivating the My Collection, is no Longer an issue..

In Favorite List Play back mode, the CUE of the next clip to play is updated Often enough, that the GUI doesn't interfere with the list.

Great! Then I'll give it a new chance... I've missed this "play clips by selection" option quite some time actually, and think that Totem could create something similar as well. It seems so natural that you might be able to choose, how to play the card, once you've purchased it.

Well it has been a surprise for me. The player does exactly what I have posting during the last days.

This is to select some clips form different cards into a playlist, and reproduce the clips in the exact order.

Yesterday really enjoyed some cards after I selected the introcution clip, when the model introduces herself all the way to x-rated. Saved 2 playlist. One in which the model are always standing and end up in the x-rated. The other playlists is when the models introduce themselsves sitting and the is another secuence. (Laurin May & Sandra Shine)

Have had no issues. Y have a very small computer, (acer aspire one, with win xp,1 G ram, procesor Intel(R) Atom (TM))). I have to shut down many services otherwise te cips may appear as slow motion and no audio. But this has nothing to do with the player. Just mentioned this to notice that on this type of computer the player works ok. (Plan to move to ipad when VG can work there)

Now that I've said the good parts, some comments like a wishlist.

• Once you create your playlist there is no way to alter the order. You have to remove the clips and add them in the desired order in the playlist.
• There are many panels that block the show. To only way o see the show is to hide the panel. There is no way to move the player to a corner, or minimize it.

Well I have only used the player twice, and sure I am missing some things.

Si tu téléphone d'un fixe, tu aura forcément une trace sur facture et ton achat ne sera pas surtaxer et bien sur l'argent sera prit directement, bien mieux car en cas de problème tu aura un numéro de transaction.

Si tu téléphone d'un portable avec abonnement, il faudra te renseigner auprès de ton fournisseur pour le surtaxement et tu aura aussi une trace sur facture.

Si tu téléphone d'un portable à carte sans abonnement tu n'aura aucune trace ou bien sur il faudrait la demander et tu sera surtaxer.

de toute manières si tu compte acheter un ou des crédits, achète toujours un par un, je veux dire attend la validation d'un ticket, note bien toutes les info de l'achat, vérifie que tu à bien reçu le ticket et ensuite achète le suivant, et ceux qu'elle que soit la manière de payer.


pour conseil, en général je propose d'ouvrir un petit compte bancaire qui ne servirait que pour VG. pratique et tu peut demander à la banque de ne pas recevoir les relevés de ce compte.

I know that a model's clips are stored in directory vghd\models\, but when I delete a clip file from that directory it still shows in that model's list of clips. Any suggestions?

@gatonegro, I tried to install WA's player twice. Times ago, and on both occasions it ended with some kind of error. I was able to install it, but unfortunately couldn't get it working, so decided to quit then. However despite the fact, seems to be a great program.

Please let us know, how things are going, and if you're successful, how it works. Perhaps I should try again, one more time... ];-)

I like hoop earrings, but they are not the only type I like. I've noticed that many of the models wear them. In fact they are the only earrings I've noticed. Is this because they are the only type that are big enough to see or does Totem have some preference for them?

I agree. That's why I posted my message here. I'm just looking for some information from the community.


I think my strategy will be to go with the WMV versions unless the image size of the AVI is larger.

i have the same questions, but at this moment i just watching the videos online without downloading at all. it's just a bonuses - a now i don't want asking the team for their quality, etc. much more important a bug fixes and usability aspects of the client application (keyboard, player, filters, frames, etc, etc, etc).

I downloaded the setup and isntalled it. It says version 1.1.62.01

I have VG/Deskbabes version 1.1.0.84

When I click on play clip on the player nothing happens. I know I am missing something basic. It's the first time I ever see this player. I tried to click and unclick various checkboxes but stil.

Is there a link to a manual basic usage.

AVI - Traditionally was a lossless format. Usually Uncompressed.
That's why, for the Same Resolution and Bitrate Video, the File size is Much Larger.

But with New Codecs, AVI can also be lossy and Compressed.

I've been downloaded bonus videos. It seems that every video comes in two formats, avi and wmv. I understand the technical differences and I can play either. The question is which will be the higher quality.

In some cases the difference is clear, but only after downloading both. For example Blanche Bradburry's iw-a1443 video is 1920 X 1080 in wmv and 960 X 540 in avi with file sizes of 269 MB and 24 MB respectively. Both seem to me to be equally crisp. Clearly the wmv is video if you have enough disk space and a large enough monitor.

A different example is Blanca Brooke's its-blancabrooke video. Here both have the same default image size - 960 X 520, but he AVI file is 50% larger than the WMV. I've been told that AVI has better compression so I would expect that to be a higher quality image, but I can' see a difference.

A third case is Dominika C's iw-a1336 video. Here the WMV is 640 X 480 which the AVI is 960 X 520. Since the AVI file is about twice the size, and both seem equally crisp I would select the AVI as the higher quality video.

As you can see, I haven't found a clear choice or a rule for selecting the best. The larger file is often better, but sometimes it appears to just be a waste of space. Also I can't tell the file size until I start downloading. I'd like to avoid downloading every pair of videos and having to compare them one by one.

Because there are simply more VirtuaGirlHD cards than DeskBabes cards, and because we only get two new DB cards per week vs. five for VGHD, I doubt we will soon see the 4 cards per day or 6 month subscriptions offered for DeskBabes. Customers would max out on DB too quickly. But I agree with you. I would also like to see some faster or longer-term subscription options offered for DeskBabes -- perhaps two-a-day or a subscription term of multiple months.

when i remember right progressive hotness will play 3 clips from one card and then skips to the next card.

random hotness plays only one clip from a card and then skips to the next card. also in random hotness you can select which erotic level(s) you want to watch.
