There are just 32 girls, as of October 13th, with at least one card scored at 9.5 or higher.
I propose to group these girls into 4 Heats of 8, and ask members to vote for their favourite (excuse the Australian spelling). After a reasonable time (I suggest 2 weeks maximum) the 2 girls with the highest vote tallies from each Heat will face off in a Final to determine our 'BEST OF THE BEST". The 4 Heats will be titled "Your Choice - Heat 1" or Heat 2 and so on. All 4 Heats will be up for voting as soon as I can post them - work issues permitting.

I'm sure most members will be disappointed that some of their personal favourites are not listed. This is especially true if your favs have card numbers below 560, because NONE of them made the list.
No Zuzana, Jana H, Sandra H, Viki, Eufrat, Vicky S, Dorothy Bank, Chikita, Carmen Gemini, Marta, Britney, Chiara, no Morgane! I am devastated. Perhaps a separate poll for those early cards would be appropriate. But the ONLY objective way to select the "Best" girls is to accept members scores for their cards.

This is not a new standard. While testing for the new collection, a few cards have been produced with fewer but longer clips.
We were not happy with the result (nor was QA...) and did not continue in this direction.

I have recently noticed exactly the same thing .. not when having 5 cards but anyway I now have all cards of Dominio and all but 1 card of Mirca .. you are probably right .. they have changed the algorithm ..

I just bought two of those Victoria cards (above mentioned).
Immediately two cards of Naomi Nevena replace those cards.

I get this often. Mine seems to run in sequence and I get many of the same model in different outfits. I kinda like it, I get a good idea of what the girl is like that way.
The only downfall is that if you want variety that will not happen until the model change. However if you choose more girls then you are more likely to get a variety, sometime it works out to three girls with different outfits.

Oki... then this must be either an odd card or a new policy we haven't heard of... IF this is the new standard I must say that Totem is going in the wrong direction, but I honestly don't think so considering the new stuff they have going with the new collection. Also, only 9 clips is very unusual...

I now have nothing but Victoria Daniels. Earlier I had much of Candy Sweet. Before that I had much of Niky.

She looks really good in 'Satin Seduction' (on the far left in the pic) and 'Pumping Iron' (in front and center) where she is wonderfully barefoot.

I usually keep my desktop settings on Lightly Sexy for this reason.

Jon, your list is flaw.. most of the cards you list have both no nude and topless clips. The fact is that there's not one single card in VG that doesn't have either no nude or topless clips.

Some cards have no no nude clips but thats because the girl wear a see through top... and those cards have plenty of topless clips =)

I choose to purchase and/or add to my favorites based on this rough algorithm:

• Model(s) go barefoot - get!
• Model(s) go footware-less but retain stockings [et. al] - get!
• Model(s) don't wear boots or high platform heels - get!

If neither of those three points are met then I will consider purchasing if the show is 30 minutes or more longer and the model is visually appealing based on one or more of the following: hair color, body type, smile, tattoos and/or piercings [including lack thereof], shaved or trimmed or full 80's bush, ...

In other words, it's all just personal preference.

Welcome FlossieLashes, It depends on what you are looking for out of VG. For me I choose a girl if I would like to look at her ALL day long, or if she is a good performer, which could be anything from a great personality and smile to ***** dance or pole skills. But the method that has never failed me: if I get an instant boner watching her demo, I buy the card on the spot!

I recently realized that when ever there is a card update that at least 1 new show is added to the list and for every show added a non-nude or topless show is removed, just to keep the show count the same. If you want to keep these shows you need to back them up, and after the update re-install the shows. you will need to close VGHD and start it back up so the software can read the old files into your list.

I have found a few without evening looking for them.

I found an Aika May card and a Candy Sweet card.

It is a bummer when a card has none of these, except for demo clips.

If you do not already have a list, it is not necessary for you to create one.

@W1ldcard: That's a little simplistic, my friend. Are you trying to scare off new potential buddies here? There are way more choices to satisfy all tastes imho. If anybody looks at VG and says, 'Nah. Not for me' Then I will happily set Miela on them with her Flash blade! ;)

I have been with VirtuaGirlHD for a long time.
When I first downloaded and installed the program (cannot remember what version it was), there were 1 credit cards in a 'calendar' that showed three seven-day weeks, the last week being upcoming.
When I saw the calendar, I immediately was interested in several girls.
I bought several different cards.
Then, I bought all cards of certain girls that interested me a bit more than others.

My history shows the following:
2008-03-01 04:43:26: Creation of the account JonC001
2008-03-01 08:43:57: Purchase of Zuzana/Lonely rider
2008-03-01 08:47:31: Purchase of Jana H/Californian suit
2008-03-02 five more Zuzana cards and eleven more Jana H cards

After this, I was more selective, choosing only girls that were attractive to me.
They needed to have pretty faces, in my opinion.

2008-03-21 05:19:39: purchase of Lucynova/Hippies forever
this card made me 'Platinum' with 100 cards, including four cards no longer in my collection and no longer on sale at VGHD.

I was very quick at buying cards, becoming Platinum (the highest level based on number of cards at the time) in less than a month.

Later, I became much more selective and bought cards less often.

Now, (and in the recent past) I only buy cards of girls that are very attractive and skip the less attractive ones. Even then, I need to see their breasts so I will look at the video. If the breasts are good to me, then that will mean a purchase of every single card of said girl.

I have NEVER had a subscription and have NEVER bought cards via booster pack.



summary:
I became Platinum very quickly.
Girls need to be very attractive to me now.
Girls need to have good breasts to me.


Nothing else matters with two exceptions.
I will NEVER buy a card where the girl has no hair on her head (baldness is a deal breaker)
I will NEVER buy a card where the girl has tape on her breasts in the main card pic. (for more on this, when you become Platinum member, check out this topic: http://www.virtuagirl.com/forumPost.php?foId=10&ftId=5279)
When I buy a girl's cards, I usually buy all of her vghd cards, with only those above as exceptions.

At DeskBabes, I never had a subscription and never bought booster packs.
I did buy cards, usually duos, but quickly got tired of the website and cards.
I cannot remember exactly how I decided which cards to purchase, except for a few girls that I remembered from an older Totem website.

You decide that a card is a favourite of yours so you click the heart symbol but does it do anything apart from adding a little red heart to the card.

As far as I can see there is no "Play My Favourites" option so what on earth is the point of it?
