multi-threaded rendering is enabled by default in iStripper. it's the threadedRendering registry entry. here are my registry hives to change it/restore it without having to navigate to the specific entry or create it if missing. edit in notepad if you are concerned about the contents. there's nothing dodgy in there though.

maybe try both settings and see if it is any better. also, make sure the colour profile is correctly configured for your monitor so you have the right levels, saturation, brightness and contrast to make the most of your screen

However where we disagree is daily usage (and maybe brand name) the trade up for hard drive space and processor power at 75% is marginal...

On paper, monitor wise our DPI is the same, perhaps the sharper image comes from the fact that my DPI has to cover 2" squared more...

What CPU are you running that gets 75% with 3K. My AMD FX 8320E uses 15% at tops with 3K content. I know any Intel core i5/i7 since Sandy Bridge should be able to match or more likely beat that. Unless totem has coded istripper for better multi-threaded support.

are you running amd apu / hardware? DVI and HDMI are the same electrically. Could be driver / software related. Also can some tell me if running a higher DPI affects the Istripper software. This may be why I can see a change. I run my DPI at 115%. Makes all my icons and texts nice and big and clear on 1080p.

I the My Collection tab in the Filters for Content Type uncheck preview only. This works for me under OS X 10.11.6.

Forgot to add - if you want to use the playlist in full screen mode you need to set the show duration to 1 clip in the full screen settings.

Well I just recently shut down my computer and made the switch from VGA to HDMI...however I am not so sure I noticed a noticeable change in picture quality...on top of that when I turned up the volume on the master control of my audio interface/mixer I get a bunch of weird noise...this doesn't happen when I have the VGA plugged in...I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that HDMI transmits both video/audio...

anyway...I think HDMI cables are better for TV's and VGA or DVI (whatever that is) are better for a computer...with that said I'm going to have to look into getting a DVI cable and testing that out...yurp

I've tried every setting, and I cannot seem to get a card to play all clips in numerical order, or even from No Nudity through to XXX. "Progressive Hotness" is the obvious choice, but it skips from No Nudity to Topless then back to No Nudity, etc. Seems like a dumb question but I've been trying for weeks... Any help?

Is there any way to make voices in xxx scenes louder ? some of them are like really quiet :( i cant even hear them talking and moaning is silenced.. i know my headset have something with sounds but for example Naomi Nevena is perfect i can hear her loud and clear but Estonika or Katya Clover are very very quiet :( thanks for answer.. :D

Your talking about one style of transition clip. I find some, where the girl acts like she's trying to get your attention very good. Other girls with less acting ability don't bring it off so well. I think these transition clips only play in small mode, but I'm not sure. Since transition clips do not appear in the clips list, you can not turn them off that way. If you knew the clip number you could delete it, but it would reload if you ever resync with the database.

On a side note, 17 years ago I bought a 19" CRT monitor for 300 UK pounds. It had a .24 pixel matrix. (Just about as good is it could get then). This came with 4 USB ports as an extra plus quite a few AV ports and served me well for 10 years. It was extremely sharp for video. I forget the name of the company as it was a very small UK based one but the main part was that it was a SONY Trinitron tube. The same Sony branded screen was selling at over 600 UK pounds and with no USB ports or other extras. That was one of the best buys I ever made :)

well i also seldom download previews. For the xxx shows they don't really help with deciding if you want the show or not imo.
And for the istripper shows i buy the full shows i want directly. It mostly depends on the outfit. Also i buy the first show of a new model all the time.
If the outfit or the model is not to my liking i won't buy the show.
So those i don't buy i also won't buy if i get a preview.
My first action these days after starting iStripper is to delete the previews that are about to be downloaded.

I support Totem by buying every card as it comes out.including all the classic cards because most of them offer excellent photo collections, though mostly I exclude form the shown clips.Other than that the only cards i have archived are three of Silver with scores of 3-3.34 !. I frequently allow random cards to play as it fasinates me how memebers tastes in favourite girls is so wide, and like to reflect on what determines my preferences. Somtimes I allow demos to play and sometimes not.

I recalled  a while back that play 3K on a 1080p monitor did not make a difference and was not worth the extra space.  I can truthly say this is false.    I have a el cheapo 22" IPS AOC flat screen.  I can imagine if you have a TN panel or running over VGA the difference will not be noticed.  DVI or any other digital cable will be in for a suprise.  It is not like when you watched your first HD movie coming from a dvd player but the image just "pops" on the taskbar looking life like.  To me, the image is just so more vivid.   So if you have a higher end 1080p monitor, space for the increase in size and your computer can play 3K go right ahead and just try a model or 2.

Hi, This is supposed to catch your attention but i agree that's annoying if repeated.

The good news is that there is a way to turn them off.

Go to settings > advanced settings box > clips > keep playing previews of purchase clips.

This will remove all preview from the card you have bought.

But you can also remove only on clip on one card.

Go to girl page > clips tabs > uncheck any clip you don't want to see.
