iStripper에 관한 모든 것

To comment on few things in this thread...

The vg/iStripper software is a client which needs a server. I think any plan to stay with old software is probably doomed to failure. But you can wait until the ship sinks I guess. This isn't crucial software. More transition help is available now since we are all going through it.

iStripper has support for playlists and it can support a playlist of clips rather than just cards. We lose some functionality with iStripper and this does represent poor judgement on Totem's part. But we gain more functionality than we lose. Furthermore I believe Totem will eventually wake up and restore most of the features they removed.

As for PM's, I am not aware of any forum where the management is prevented from reading PM's. I am sure that Totem has always had the ability to read PM's. I doubt that will change. If you want private communication with a member, use PM's to exchange mail addresses of temporary mailboxes. Then use email, Totem can't read that. But the guys that run your email servers can. Switch to phones. Or meet in person. You can use public key cryptography with email but I think that major governments have the juice to break it. True privacy to hard to achieve.

I was a moderator at a tech forum but I became inactive. One day I got an email from the admin telling me that I had PM with a job offer. He was reading my PM's and really, I didn't mind. I don't have an expectation that forum PM's are truly private.
