Actualy this image was made from 2 paused full desktop mode screencaps put on a wallpaper image :) I've made quiet a few of these. Makes a great slideshow or in a wallpaper changer. lol

edit: I've never tried this, but if I were in your position I'd set my default download quality to 1080p and then "rebuild collection". It's an advanced option button. I would think that'd get you were you want be. At least that makes sense in my own head...as to whether or not it works, is really anyone's guess!

I know a lot of posts here are related to problems, wishful thinking or "fixes" for problems that people have had, but this isn't one of those posts!

I run this program as a distraction a lot, and sometimes don't notice entire shows for 30mins to even several hours at a time. I don't think I'm alone in this, we get wrapped up in what we're doing and our focus can cause us to miss a lot of things. However, I just wanted to post a thank you...as there are moments throughout my day where I have my attention stolen from my mundane daily tasks by a very beautiful woman that's been dancing in the background and she makes me completely forget about what I'm doing. It's a very welcomed dsitraction and completely why I keep frequenting this site/program.

Oh my..Uma Jolie and Ariana Marie in a duo like this would be a ultimate fantasy filled for me. Provideing they get the sound and lighting right. It would be pure sextacy. I bet it would sell like hotcakes if they got it right even with a extra fee. Oh and there needs to be better direction in XXX cards because they havent beeen lately (cough Ariana's latest cards).

Sorry but since iS was launched, you need to be a Platinum (100 cards) member to enjoy the Classics.

Totem moved the goalposts as they believe that new members might be put off by downloading older (cheaper) cards. The image quality is obviously no where near what we have today :)

Edit: Just looked at the cards you own. Some very nice ones there :) Try a new 3K/UHD card or 5. You'll be amazed at the image quality difference...

After a few years without, i reinstalled VG, now iS (eh loaded abbreviation nowadays) on a iMac. When i shop around and opt classic cards only, the shop become empty. Are the classic cards not available anymore?

Not sure if this is any use but if you look at your system/performance specs, it might help determine what is good and/or bad about your setup.
The screencap shows that most of my hardware is pretty much up to scratch save the internal hard drive. The highest performance score in this table is a possible 7.9.

High speed cable is coming to my area in the next couple of months :-) :-) will I be allowed to upgrade my 720p cards to 1080p (where applicable) ?

@cdub87 Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 6MB cache @3,2 GHz (8x400 MHz), Memory: 6 GB DDR2 @400 MHz, I already gave the GPU (Geforce GTX 750 Ti). And all this is far from maximum load during the stuttering - that's why it didn't seem relevant. I can't tell anything about system bus load unfortuntaley.

Seems to me you already did. I doubt that Totem would assign the name Megalomax :/

Anyways, if you wrote down your password or your first email from Totem is still there, you can register again with your chosen name. This will only work one time after your first registration with Totem. Then you're stuck with that username for that account.

The standard Text editor that comes with every Mac will work. You won't get the semantic sensitive color coding, but it will open, edit and save usable files.

Continuing notepad++ examples
If a user wants to reverse (mirror) the writing on a Tshirt that a model is wearing:

Find the +InvertedShaderExample.scn (if installed ~ it is in your..scenes/ET Scenes folder)
Open it with notepad++
Make the edits shown in pics above
Save the .scn file as same name

Now the model's Tshirt will be oriented correctly ~(mirrored the other way.) 😊

What is your CPU or GPU? You have never posted it.

Continuing...notepad++ examples:
If a user wants to slow down to half, the movement in the fragment shader

Go to scenes/ET Scenes/shaders folder
Find shader file named 'UnknownSB - eHASH22678.2.fsh' (I've written word HASH because this forum software will not allow using a hash symbol)
Open it with notepad++
Edit code line 11 as shown in above pic where it says 'HASHdefine time u_Elapsed'
Save the shader to same name
Exit notepad++

This shader will now run at half speed

How I can edit .scn files in Mac?

For peeps experimenting for a first time with Notepad++
Here is something you can try doing to get used to using it.

Find the +InvertedShaderExample.scn (if installed ~ it is in your..scenes/ET Scenes folder)
Open it with notepad++
Make the edits shown in pic above
Save the .scn file as same name

Now the scene will play your models in lager size whenever a taskbar clip is playing in fullscreen

I'll stick to version .38 till the issue is fixed. I'm not removeing all my _custom.jpg images just for a bug. They worked before and should now.

That's a third option !! But as long as the original card is ReadOnly, it uses the custom card and stop downloading the original card. They should have fixed this bug right away and place a revised version online...

@CygnusX1 Thanks for the tip. I have Comodo Antivirus, and only real-time protection active. I tried disabling that, and while I was at it, also stopped several windows services that I figured could be significantly active and not necessary the same time. Didn't work. Unfortunately system bus and such motherboard related workings of the PC are beyond what I know anything useful about. All I can check is CPU, GPU load, and memory usage and make assumptions from that. I'll have to see what a new platform does - most likely it will solve the issue - when I can make the switch sometime in the future.

Thanks for all your contributions, at the very least I got to know that my GPU is good as it is right now, which is a useful find for me. I guess that will be all we can assure with any certainty from this method of small data gathering. I'll need a new platform to enjoy 3K and until then I'd better get to merging 1080p & 3K cards into hybrids for myself (too bad iStripper doesn't have this quality option: 3K standing, pole, and so on clips + 1080p closeups).

Extract @WA's zipped xml file into same directory as you installed notepad++.exe into and it works immediately.

I had the same problem and I have a brand new high speed system. After investigating for a while last night after reading your post I realized that Norton Antivirus was running a full system scan in the background and was sucking up the excess system capacity (it alone was using between 15% and 45% of my processor power). The bandwidth on the the system bus was severely over taxed because Norton was going from external drive to external drive doing scans (the external drives were running at 100% during the scan). I couldn't get it to stop and finally figured out how to turn off the auto scan (manual only now). Norton obviously has a bug and wasn't running in the background at all but was a front line application (instead of starting a scan when my computer was idle). After reboot everything sped up and no more jerky shows! Try looking into what is running in Task Manager to see if this is your problem.

By all means keep the Viola coming!

Thats where the real tutorial for scene making is. For example, by tweeking things in .scn like Emu's uniform: speed, float, 0.1 to something less, they can make things slow down, if they resave the .scn file.... & similar applies with .fsh files.
You cannot permanently break anything in da remixes I've done..if your tweeking stops stuff happening, simply extract the zip again into your ../scenes folder allowing folder merging and overwrite the previous... for a fresh start.;-)

@HombreSinSombra I didn't say anything about AMD cards, and I also have only bought Intel in the past. And I also read/about know that current AMD CPUs are bad. That is the reason I'm waiting for the next gen, because if it doesn't suck, than either I can make a switch, OR Intel will at last have competition, which would result in more sane prices. So I definitely want a DDR4 based platform, but either with less expensive Intel CPU, or competent AMD if I have to. But this is off topic, I just hope you see what you misunderstood.

My system is almost 3 years old. I've never gone for anything but Intel for my CPU. It works!

Seriously, after reading what others have said about AMD cards not delivering, you are considering buying one???

My Intel Core i5 4440 is nothing special but anything from them, i5, i7 or whatever they're making now is going to kick ass. You know this already. I would say wait and buy the best you can :)
