I apologise if there is already a thread like this.

In many threads there are often negative comments about VGHD. This is natural because each user wants to enhance their own experience and getas much value for money as possible.

But I would be interested to know why everyone likes VGHD. I am sure there are many different reasons.

This is not intended to be a "suck up to Totem" thread in any way (not that that happens much anyway). It is just a chance to say positive things about the concept.

So here are my reasons:

1) Meets my taste: VGHD comes closest to meeting my personal taste in erotic entertainment than any other sex site I have tried.

2) Real girls - A wide variety of real sexy attractive girls dancing, stripping, flashing and fondling on the screen. What is not to like.

3) Community - You guys are all very friendly, intelligent, funny, interesting and informative. Also, everyone talks about attractive girls. An extremely interesting subject.

The best things about VGHD for me are many.

What I love is:

• the connection between you and the girls.
• the fact the girl is dancing on your desktop! No video necessary.
• that VGHD is softcore. Though I will consider Desk Babes when it comes out, VGHD is quite unique in that it has some standards.
• the community. I've met some good people here.
• the variety of performance styles. When I want fun, I seek Jenni Gregg. When I want sensual, I go for Denisa K. When I want raunchy, I go for Vicky S, Stacy, Silver, Trisha.

What I *****:

• lack of variety amongst the selection of girls to choose from. Only 1 Spanish girl, about 4 Asians girls and 3 black girls. Not only that but most of the girls are from Czech Republic.
• lack of eye-contact some girls have. Some girls do not look at the camera which can be off putting.
• platform shoes. Get rid of them.
• Makeup team. Sometimes they overdo it.

What I mainly like is that it's some welcome distraction. Staring at applications all day is exhausting, and being able to look at something else is a welcome change.

Of course, the fact that "someone else" means "beautiful, naked girls" set it apart :)

What I don't like is that there is no Multi-Monitor support and that I have to set the girls to 40% transparency in order to be able to click on whatever is behind them.


As for the girls themselves, I like the variety. Yes, most of them are from Czech Republic, but we have them in most shapes, hair colors and breast sizes. We are a bit short on the Ethnic diversity and maybe a bit short on good dancers (Did I mention I'd love to see some Indian Dancer taking it off for us?), but the last year had some good additions, and I'm hopeful that once the Explicit Product is launched, VGHD will see another quality boost.

I just think vghd is a unique and fun piece of erotic entertainment software, which gives me many hours of pleasure.

Also, it promotes a great sense of community among it's users, and collecting all the girls is an interesting, fun and pleasurable hobby.

I've been using VG2 in the past, and walked away from it for a while. Discovered VGHD and joined again.

What I like? Totems involvement with the community. And their emphasis on the community. (one of the goals of the new offers).

The program itself of course. I think that the fast majority of the users give out so much to Totem, just because they like it. In a way it is an addiction. And every change in the ***** will give withdrawal symptoms. ;-)

From a modding perspective it's a great program, you can create skins, new cards, etc. This brings the artistic users their creative outlet. And at the same time enjoying the female beauties.

The diversity of the clips is great. There is something for every taste and every occasion.

But most of all the community where people are ready to help and show off their artwork. Plus the fun that can be had here. It's one of my favourite forums out there on the net.

Basically...

1) I like the girls. Caucasian girls are totally my type and Totem offers plenty.

2) I like the first 3 levels of nudity.

3) The forums are fun and there's a lot of activity. There's always a lot of conversation ongoing. I guess the good level is because almost all the users are adults (i presume some are not).

I dislike...

1) Even though i love caucasians, i would like to see some variety.

2) Everytime there's a problem with the program, Totem seems to be the last to know. They can improve a lot in their communication with the users.

3) The last level of nudity of the newer releases is dull and boring. Whenever i chose the fourth option i want to see hot softcore, and i remark "softcore", never asked it to be hardcore, but not a poor impression of an old playboy magazine. I'm not going to quit on the fun here, but i decided to not spend anymore money till they get clear that they're selling porno, tasteful, soft and classy, but porno nevertheless.

Oh, and a fourth one in the disliking department:

4) Everytime there's a problem with the software, the site, the customer service, the lack of communication, the lack of quality with the newer releases, the lame explicit content, etc... The excuse seems to always be: "We are working on the Deskbabes stuff" or "they are working on the Deskbabes project". Well, i'm a customer of VG and i can't care less about the making of a different product, in the same way that i don't care about the problems they can have with Virtuaguy.

Last 3 years me to like Zoe. I tried to change favourites, but always came back to Zoe. .....
