If you like to rate the cards, what's the most important aspect you value to give a good or bad rate to any given card?

For this poll i placed some general aspects that could be usual to consider when doing the rate thing, but of course you might have many other not covered by this, so please add your comments.

I actually voted for "The model's attitude or ability to please and seduce", since I think it's a very important part of the girl's overall performance and perhaps even a touch more important than dancing skills.

A case in point is my preference between vghd's two current expert pole dancers. Although I think Suzie Q's skills are a little bit better than Shabba's, I prefer Shabba because of her fantastic attitude, apparent friendliness, warmth and fun, and the great interactive quality she presents to the viewer. Although I'm usually more impressed with Suzie Q's skills, Shabba always leaves me with a big smile on my face.

I must admit though, I do tend to give a girl an initial rating based on her look and then adjust it up or down according to her performance. If a girl gives a good performance, but nothing special, my initial look based rating doesn't change. Probably the reason I've rated so many cards at 8 or 9.

Should ask what people consider to be average when rating a card 9 or 10 and why they rate a card 1 or 3.
What makes a 10 instead of a 9? And if you don't ownm the card how is it ia 10?

Also ask why someone rates a card they do not own and what criteria they use to rate it.

@Spacephantom My personal system is similar to yours. I start with an 8 for every card, that number represent the importance i give to the model's look. All the girls here are beautiful to me, and if this site was only about static pictures i'll give a 10 to almost all. But, being not the case, 8 is pretty standard to me regarding the looks. Then i add or deduct one point for "The model's attitude or ability to please and seduce" and then one point added or deducted for "The sexual explicit behavior being... well... explicit enough". I've never rated a card below 6, but the rare ocasion i'm tempted to do so, it's because of production issues like the most ***** "I fade out your excitement" that Totem seems to find so amazing this days.

@slayyer As you can see above, the sexual explicit behavior makes a 10 instead of a 9 to me. ;) Also, good questions, guess we need a poll for the freeloaders and for those who rate new shows only seconds after the release time.

I also voted for "attitude and ability to please"... but this is such a personal point of reference it's impossible to give a general explanation what this means. Take Shabba vs Suzie from Spacephantom's example above. Personally I find Suzie Q outstanding when it comes to charm, attitude and the ability to please and seduce... Shabba is not nearly as "attractive" to me...

For me "attraction" comes from the attitude, the ability to "please and seduce" AND also from the girls physical appearance including the makeup and outfit. It's "the whole package" so to speak. :)

I concede little importance to the outfit at the moment to rate a card unless it is downright hideous. But one thing i can't resist is the golden girls. Last card of Jenni Gregg is a 10 to me just for the outfit. Yummi!

I think the outfit is important, I like a nice sexy dress slowly removed to reveal some sexy underwear. The pink dress in Card 253 Dorothy Bank Chic Chick looks pretty good in the card, first you catch a flash of breast, then it's disappeared, then you get another glimpse. It's the very essence of the tease in striptease and I really can't see why Totem haven't reused it like they have done with most outfits.

When I look at some outfits like say the outfit worn by Tereza in Easy Dream Card 375 I have to say I am disappointed, to me that outfit conveys a couldn't care less attitude and that's not laying the blame on Tereza as she has been told what to wear. It's a tatty top combined with a ripped denim skirt, the whole outfit could have been bought from a jumble sale for less than a pound sterling.

The gold bikini has had it's day, frankly I am fed up to the back teeth with it, are Totem trying to get every girl to do a card in it, boring now, the latest one is Jenni Gregg 554.

Going on past the 1000 character limit, I do disagree with a lot of members in that I don't consider the explicit bahaviour a vital part of a card, if it's there fine, if it isn't I'm not bothered. If you really want explicit there are plenty of easily locatable sources on the WorldWide Web for it.

Maybe I am different from most but I'm not secretive about having VGHD on my laptop, my wife uses my laptop sometimes, she usually turns VGHD off before using it so she has a clear screen and she is fully aware that it's normally on when I'm using it.

To me it's important that it is a good looking girl dressed in a nice sexy dress slowly removed to reveal sexy underwear which is slowly removed to nudity.

I do wish Totem would use tie sided underwear though, it's always a very ungainly moment when the panties have to be taken off over the shoes, so much easier with tie sides and more opportunity for some tease.

I like different combo's at different times, depending on my desire at the time. Generally I like a woman that is confident in her sexuality, able to freely express it, is not afraid to be explicit (show it or finger it), and knows this is a sex site & is here to seduce me to completion. Different styles of movement all work if they contribute to an over all seduction and sexuality. A beautiful babe strutting and opening herself to me beats a good dancer who is not willing to put it all out there. But sometimes a beautiful babe who dances well can be experienced on the "oh baby you're so beautiful" level to achieve completion enough (& deliciously so)It depends on my Imagination at the time. Costume works for effect often as in the Dorothy example above.My FantaSex tends along the "worship" & "ask for it" line.("So beautiful-DO that baby") so interesting movement & explicit variation is good. Some days "slender tender" works, other times "buxomfuxom" is what I need.I am often amazed!

On the outfits aspect - I think the importance of the outfit depends on the girl and whether she can pull of the look. Some girls can wear almost anything and look fantastic, whereas other girls look better in some costumes than others.

Taking BAfsb's example of Tereza, I certainly agree that "Easy Dream" is far from her best card and the costume plays it's roll in that. I think it's more to do with the fact that Tereza doesn't really pull off the "girl next door" look than with the costume itself, however. There are other girls on vghd who suit that look fantastically. As for Tereza, I think she is much better suited to the leather or latex look of the likes of "Gothic Illusion" or "Flashgirl". Whereas in some cases it doesn't matter so much, how well Tereza pulls off her look makes a 1 point difference for me.

The ability to please and seduce is the big overwhelming factor to me. Pretty much everything else is related to that to some extent. The cards I'm going to rate the highest are those that are the most fun to watch. They don't really have to be "seductive" (though a really fun show is its own seduction) as such. Elya 17 isn't a particularly seductive card, but I rated it 2 points higher than the average just on sheer originality.

I won't say looks don't matter. I'll delete anyone I find repulsive just as quickly as anyone else. But if the show is good enough, looks don't matter quite as much. For example, I'm not particularly attracted to Carol G, but most of her shows are just so damned fun to watch it doesn't matter all that much. She still gets high marks from me. Of course, there are also those like Zuzanna who do get higher marks based on looks. So that's really a mixed bag.

For me the best cards are the ones in which the girl completely strips: no dress, no panties, no belts, no shoes... nothing.

Anothe important factor is the natural look and feel to the cards. Seemingly augmented breasts (Zoe) will usually mean a card is disabled, at best. A more "normal" stripping routine also tends to put me off. I enjoy the girls that seem to be having fun and are not treating it as a stripping routine. Normal stripping routines never feel intimate. Probably why Natali Blond and Marie are my two favourite girls.

Good points. Regarding the ability to please and seduct, DTH77 mentioned a very important aspect. Maybe one of the most irritating things is when a model breaks the illusion of being performing just for you looking the other way, following instructions from the crew. You can blame it to the model's inexperience to some extend, but it's more a fail of direction and production.
