What version are you running? You can't replace demos with the current one. Is a beta still, but it fixed some past issues.

Now, you need to actually play the demos. Select all DBs or all VG and let them play. I noticed that if I leave only the demos for one product active, the others stay the same.

Other than that, dunno, I don't have a recurrent problem with the issue you describe. ;)

also in the instructions from customer service where it says make a new directory. Is that meaning just create a new folder and name it vghd?

For the last week and a half every time I replace a demo it automatically loads a recent demo and will not download new demos at all.

I have not changed any settings and all download options are checked.

Is this true for all users?

I even tried a fresh install and it still does it.

Any thoughts?

I do not have vghd or the models installed on my computer at all it is all completely un-installed I am doing a fresh install but want it directly on my external hard drive when i trie3d to install it to my external drive E. it still installed a folder on my normal internal drive. So i was curious if there was a way to directly download it to my external. I appreciate your responses. I guess as a last resort if i have to install 1st onto my eternal normal hardrive 1st then transfer to external HD I will but was wondering if i could do it directly?

Have you tried clicking "Synchronize with server" in your Advanced Settings ??

If you have, perhaps it will help if you "Quit" VirtuaGirl and then restart it.

Maybe the cards will appear in your collection then.

Let's be real though. No knock on the VG team, but why isn't an option to specify download and playback parameters for our Girls a simple to use option in the product settings itself, without having to enlist the help of somebody who has a firm grasp of the Windows registry? I just count myself lucky that A) I know how to play with a "text string" in Google to eventually find the answer I'm looking for , and B) I know a bit about the Windows Registry from past experiences and I was able to follow your instructions without a hitch. The only hiccup was how long it took to transfer all that data (which would have been a non-issue in the first place, had the ability to download and view the Girls from a secondary drive been an option in the GUI in the first place, right?)



Granted, I don't have the capital or charisma to get a bunch of drop dead gorgeous foreign girls to strip on camera and a green screen for residuals, but I know enough from my one semester of community college VB class to at least know that this was a good idea to add, even if I wasn't sure immediately how to implement it.

Not that I'm worried about it anymore, but here's hoping that this simple feature is added in the future for those too stupid and/or lazy to search Google for a few minutes and follow your easy directions.

I think Totem's choice for VGHD models has been great so far. I don't really have a specific preference for the girls, as long as they're new and the content is good (outfit, close shots, etc).

Anna Tatu & Victoria Blaze, both are gorgeous and I love that Angelica came back to give us more!

I rather like the new line-up. Victoria Blaze is definitely not in the "same old" category. Katia De Lys and Jasmine Arabia both break the seemingly unbreakable caucasian trend. Anna Tatu has enough uniqueness as well. I think the recent line-up is the best ever since VGHD was released. I have no real complaints at the moment.

When I go to a Gentleman's Club or strip bar, I can't tell what each model's show is going to be like before seeing it either. And there are always a few that I might think are "stinkers" over the course of the evening. But the club isn't going to give me a refund on my cover charge for them, either.

You spend your money...you take your chances. For 2 bucks a show (or 1 buck if it's a special card or one from the "On Stage" area), you shouldn't be fretting the money so much. Just make sure you aren't spending the rent or food money on the shows here, and if you get a "stinker", well...have one less beer this month.
