You do not need to redown load the cards, you can copy them to your external drive and then uninstall & reinstall (my preferred approach) on the reinstall, change the nominated data path to the location on the external drive.

If you need any more detail, just ask.

I would like to own and download many more of your beautiful girls.
I love the shows and can afford to buy more, but my current hard drive where they are kept is pretty much maxed out. I have an external drive that would allow me to triple my downloads, but this software is on the main drive. Can i uninstall the deskbabes software and re-install on the external drive while keeping the cards already downloaded?

The reason for the latter part of that question is that i also get charged for downloads over a certain limit and this program with the wonderful shows has put me over with the initial downloads so i've paid for the cards more than once already, so to speak. I do not want to pay even more for same cards by downloading again.

I've seen on the forum pages how to backup, so i could do that first or after installing on the new drive, if possible. Has anyone on here been faced with this dilemma before and solved it? Thanks for any help....

Seems pretty random to me. Sometimes they stay for weeks at a time and sometimes they change every couple days. More often the first option, though.

I dont watch my shows that much anymore, but I remember I bought Elisa & Ally Style / Duo because of double dildo play.

Just for the records i made another really small update necessary for troubleshooting. If you can't use your full collection as input then this update might help you to find the clip thats causing problems and therefore the show you should delete and redownload. It will give you an error message that contains the full path and the clipname.
for those having no idea of clipnames just the most important point so you know which show to delete.
The clipnames start either with a, b, c or d
a0001_1101.vghd would be VirtuaGirl show 0001 (Silver - Beauty Queen)
b0001_1101.vghd would be VirtuaGuy show 0001 (Kerim - Angel)
c0001_1101.vghd would be DeskBabes show 0001 (Daria Glover & Cynthia Vellons)(there is no clip of that name in this show) I just want to make the pattern clear. also ignore all behind the _. Not important for determining which show you need to delete and redownload
d0001_1101.vghd would be VirtuaGirl Classic show 0001 (Ariel)

So look for this and delete and redownload the show.

Why do I feel let down by the Virtual Girls? The cards no longer have the same 'content' they used to; hardly worth buying any of them! The DeskBabes are the only ones worth buying these days - and even they are half filled with Demos that are seconds long. I feel short changed. I have ALL of the cards in both collections except for the latest 4 in DeskBabes and the last 10 in VirtualGirls - why are these cards coming out with 90% NO NUDES???? Why should we buy cards that DONT have NAKED chicks in them???? Get back to the way it USED to be!! When it was 90% NUDES.
After all - that IS what we pay for!

i've done some statistic calculations, assuming all cards you dont own have the same chance to show up on stage. I'm having 386 out of 1005 VGHD cards (~38%). 619 possibilities for stage cards. So there's a chance of 0,16% for my "most wanted" card to show up every time i get a card. the chances for one of the latest 10 cards would be 1.6%. Since i update DB cards too, i get 6 VGHD cards a day, so i should see my most wanted card on stage within about 103 days. According to murphys law, in reality the time i have to wait will be at least that time.

Edit: these calculations ignore the fact that there are a lot of new cards in this quarter to half year i have to wait for a card to show up on my stage. So in fact i will have to wait even longer.

@mentorx: feel lucky you already have a card of katia de lys ... i'm still waiting

On DB things look quite different. Here i have 148 out of just 286 cards (~52%). Just 138 possible stage cards. So with again 6 cards a day my most wanted card should show up within 14 days. And its very likely to see one of the latest cards every day.

Several members have Had FALSE positive from their AVG or similar Anti-Virus, which removes a file needed for this to work.

That might be you case.
Please examine your anti-virus logs and see if there are any VGHD or Virtua items in the logs.

i'm new here and was able to download desk top strippers and got a card to watch.
my computer got a virus sometime later from somewhere else but i had to clean computer and lost download of strippers.
now i'm unable to get the download, i would like to buy a dvd so i wont have this problem again but can't find where to get one.
please advise me how to get one.

As i said, they do change in on stage but the cards are allways replaced by old cards ive had in on stage maybe 3 weeks ago...

Note: Some browsers have the bad habit to cache downloaded files so if you redownload the file it doesn't download it again but just takes the old version from the cache.
One user just had that problem using Google Chrome Browser.
To give you a chance to see which build you are using i added a timestamp to the title bar(see screenshot)

Ok hopefully the last update for a while.
I updated the readme file to also mention the Favorite Lists created with Wyldanimals great VGHD-Player.
And i made another update to prevent bugs like the one FalconAF encountered(see the posts directly above this one) from locking up the program. Instead you now will get an error message and the program will terminate. So its just a precaution as this particular bug can't occur anymore but who can say for sure that there aren't others still lurking in the dark;-)

Ah, yeah. Beyond the models in this poll, I would like to see some of the girls with few cards in VG that to me are great to look at, Tea, Carie, Silvie Deluxe. As it is getting annoying to download the complete file again and again i can now also offer you just the jar file. Replace the one in the VGPlaylistManager folder with the one from this zip file.

I seem to have gone back to the other problem now of not all the clips in a playlist getting played, then the GUI locks up. For instance:

I have a .PLF playlist I created called "Katerina - All Cards". It is a compiled playlist of all of Katerina's card clips...5 cards of them. When I open it in the Playlist Manager and select "Fullshow", select all the nudity levels EXCEPT "lightly sexy", and select Filter Clip Types as "Sitting on Taskbar" and "Behind Taskbar", I hit "Start" and it says "5 shows with 23 clips". The show then starts with one of her cards and plays all the appropriate clips for that card. But then it goes to the next card and plays the very LAST clip in that card's clip list. Then the show ends and the GUI locks up. The number of total clips played depends on the number of filtered clips from the first card the Player selects, then one more clip from the next card, then it's over with a frozen GUI (I can close it from Task Manager/Processes tab though).
