Thanks for the screen shots. I have uninstalled VG but still haven't found deskbabes. I did a search of C: as well nothing came up. I also logged off VG before downloading thinking maybe that was causing me not to be able to choose where the program went but no luck.

Seeing as how you seem fixed on my post, let me give you a refresher:

• CV, Theo, Patrick & I (plus a number of other members) were all partt of a forum called SVG Forum. That forum had been establish back in the early days of VirtuaGirl (not be me or CV) and based upon hit rates was indeed the most prominant of the VG fan sites.
• At its peak it had a few thousand members.
• When the Christine Young card was released there was an absolute rejection of it by the members of that forum.
• Members were passionate in their rejection of it with only a few agreeing.

Now I do not know where you were looking, but it wasn't the SVG forum. There the majority of members condemned it. That is a simple fact.

To me personally, when a young girl, by that I mean someone close to the legal age (in most countries) of 18, tries to make herself look younger than that i.e 16, then that to me is crossing the line and that was the overwhelming view in the SVG Forum. Tabatha on the otherhand as well as other much older models, never looked like a ***** even when they tried. The difference in case I am not clear is that to the people who complaigned, she (unlike others) looked younger than 18.

That is MY opinion on the issue and if I was asked by Totem, I would say no to its release, but like CV, they do not ask us, so my opinion obvious has no bearing. But it is still MY opinion.

Now I have explained the position, stop your harassing of people on the issue. You have made you request, now zip it.

Maybe you should have thought about what you are doing a couple hundred girls ago. who needs 900 cards? thats ludicris! I had tried to delete a couple cards, and all it did was mess up the program so it would crash because it would come to a card it couldn't playt, and couldn't skip over it.

In general,I don`t like the models who look too young or too old,but there are exceptions.
For example,I don`t like Christine`s card ,but I like Tabatha`s card presented by SimWarlock.

I don`t know what was in the past,because I wasn`t a VG2 member and I don`t know the VG2 cards.
Anyway,I searched on the internet to see what cards were released at that time and my opinion(but I could be wrong because I`m not sure) is there were more cards released with schoolgirls("teens")that look too young(although I`m sure all had 18 yo in the moment of shooting) than in the present VG site.
My opinion is that Totem proceed very well with released cards of VG Classic(regarding to the age and especially the look of the girls).
I didn`t see plenty released cards of VG Classic with girls who look too young and I agree with Totem.
It should be released also such cards with "teens" ,but not so plenty and cards with girls who look too old as well.

Let`s not forget something,guys!(I`m talking about the girls of VG or/and VG2, not real girls)
There are members who like girls between 18-20 yo who look too young(15-16 yo) and there are members who like girls more than 30 yo who look more mature,but what it`s important more in my opinion is that most of the members like girls between 22-30 yo(including me).
The best target to achieve more sales of the cards are the cards with girls between 22-30 yo.(not too young-18-20 yo and not too old-more than 30)

If I don`t mistake at the present VG,I didn`t see too much girls who look too young(Mirka is one example that I remembered and maybe a few more) or too old.

In my opinion,Totem proceed very well with cards released of VG Classic and VG cards(the target of the age of the girls)

I am not looking for an argument, but I will defend my opinion and not be intimidated. In the VG2 days, those who shared my opinion were silenced by the equating of Christine to kiddie porn. I remained silent, but it did not seem fair to me. It was all very silly, imo, since other VG2 models looked just as young anf Totem capitalized on that.

Anyway, I have something at stake now, and am getting a little worried that maybe Totem is undecided about releasing this card because of the noise that those who think she looks too young are making about. The ratings on her card disagree with your statement that she was not popular, and with Cartref's that "just about everyone else" shared that opinion. Since this card was indeed pretty popular, I am wondering why it has not been released yet.

And I am sorry, but the double standard is clear. I not sure why you can't see that. If people did not fantasize about young girls, the ***** cards would be totally unpopular. Also, the adult industry would not release so many films that focus on that theme. So when a girl who looks young yet causes controversy, comes to the forefront, the double standard about that young girl fantasy should be exposed. I totally agree, SimWarlock. In my opinion, there were several VG2 girls who looked just as young as Christine and Totem capitalized on that without any controversy. So the debate over Christine makes little sense. There are some VGHD models also who look just as young. I already mentioned Mirka, and there are others.

The reason, CV, is because you seemed to intend to make your post a matter of fact, when it really was nothing but opinion, as you have just admitted. The way I remember the VG2 controversy about Christine was that a handful of people in high standing in the community made a lot of noise and intimidated anybody else who differed from them in their opinion using the kiddie porn card. Well, it didn't seem fair to me then, and it does not seem fair now.

As I have stated, that Christine looks "too young" is just a matter of opinion and not everybody shares it. Yes Spacephantom, you seem to be consistent in that opinion. But why do you buy them then? And CV, I have been with VG for ages. I remember that some people ***** when Christine was released in VG2. It was not, however, a majority, as you and Cartref would have people believe.

At any rate, it is a double standard. The young girl theme is popular, and sells in the adult industry. So when a model comes along who epitomises that look, any controversy caused is the showcasing of that double standard, unless those making the noise have refrained from buying any ***** cards, and from those that push the young girl envelope even further, like some of the VG2 cards that capitalized on a ***** theme. Your statement that she looks 'too young' is just a matter of opinion. Some people share that opinion with you, and others share my opinion that she does not look too young. I have never seen any ***** girl who is built like Christine - not to say that they don't exist.

If what bothered your husband was young girls trying to look older to satisfy perceived wants, why does a model embracing her youth bother him? I would think the cards that would bother him would be those where 18 and 19 year olds try to look worldly and sophisticated.

Come on, Totem, please don't save the best for last. I have been waiting for this card for a long time as I am going to make it the first card I buy of the Classic collection. Yeah, she looks young, but don't let that stop you. She was in the adult industry for a while before you guys got her for a VG2 card and is clearly legal; and she is a long time favorite of mine. Those who think she looks too young don't need to buy her, so that should not negatively influence the release of this classic card either.

In fact, if I am not mistaken, she was 19 when you guys shot her, since iirc, it was about a yer after I discovered her on the web and bought one of her adult DVD's. Don't use double standards... you continue to release school girl cards, so why wait to release a model who embodies that look? The card pics will be in your data and models files whether you download the clips or not. The storage space taken up by that is miniscule in comparison. What takes up storage space is the animations/clips.

If you don't have the option to Delete Clips, then the clips aren't there to be deleted. Just the card pics are there. They will always be there.

If you've already deleted the clips from all your cards, you should be able to manually download the clips from just the cards you want to keep. You don't have to download all of them and then go back and delete the clips you don't want. That'll take forever with that many cards.

As far as your collection showing up as empty is concerned......quiting and then restarting VirtuaGirl, synchronize with server, rebuild all and/or register again should be producing some results.

If I check the automatically download private shows, will that download all the cards I currently have in my collection? Nothing else seems to work for me. It'll be a long process downloading all 920 cards all over again, but if it works then I'll at least have the cards I want back. Then I can just go through and delete the clips to the ones I'm able to

About the classic... "her vg2 shoot is the same as the cards available here" ...not true! There is one set of the six done that is released in vg2 but never made it to VGHD. I have images to prove it but since they are not allowed I cannot show you ;)

As for the removal... Totem has given members until the end of the week to get her cards. As a service to members visiting my site I'll keep the info online until then.

I original tried to delete the clips for the cards I didn't want. A lot of the ones I never manually downloaded or bought didn't have that option, yet they were still in my models/data folders. I guess I'll just remove everything off my hard drive, then try to re download the 900 cards all over again. It just sucks having over 200gigs of hard drive space taken up by all those cards. I did try to re install the client and did the rebuild and re register options, but my collection is still empty.

Just a reminder, for about $100 you can get a 1TB External USB hard Drive, and keep your full Collection there.
It Doesn't have to be stored on your Main Hard Drive.
