Like the new scenes. Haven't had time to play with them fully yet.

Couple of ***** errors - not sure if its something I've done wrong. Fractal Garden 009 scenes is saying that it can't find "pearGreyS.png" and the GuidesAnim x WA2 scenes is saying that it can't find "gred.png".

It doesn't stop either of them from working - it just comes up with a "Toggle Log" button when I select the scene.

Noticed also you've been playing with rotate.

I've been playing with this as well on the full background images to get them to rotate continuously. It looks good with the Fractal Images but may be a little too trippy. There are a couple of screenshots in the thread below. Unfortunately they don't really capture the colour changes and the rotational movement.

@No.6 Now, about that bounce of Philae you mentioned ? lol ...I'd been experimenting with some different movement curves, like a very gentle inoutbounce for the camera. I decided to use it in scene FG-009 to nudge the girls & their accessories back off the blue fractal. Enjoy ;!

So every year Totem releases a special Christmas theme card, and now that its just around the corner, I was wondering what girl Totem will pick to don the sexy Santa suit. A curiosity: as everyone can see from my collection, I have cards in all definitions (480p, 720p, 1080p, 3k). In recent weeks, however, in the carousel are proposed *only* cards in 720p. It seems to me a strange thing ...

I did notice that there are two girls named Morgane. The Classic Morgane looks to me very different from the VGHD a-series Morgane, but I have scored all votes for the more recent Morgane.

Great card but the card type 0035, 0034 are not buying.
I think I prefer to watch the girl who dances on the desktop,
and not one in all the clips waving a broom or other things which do not interest me (weapons, brooms, whips, notebooks, sticks, cage, etc.) as an example, here's the card in 1623, 1565, 1359 which I bought and I deleted. This is just my opinion, everyone has own.

You see, I'm not that much interested in becoming a 'guru'... After all, what would be the point of that? Sounds quite pointless... Does that even pay well or something? :) Do you get free cards automatically? Or does that come with other benefits?

and as others have mentioned, your Complaints, Ideas and suggestions would be better accepted if they were presented differently.

I tend to Agree with many of the things you have brought up.
Just not in such an Abrasive manner.

I'd like to see, an Advanced Check Box, that would enable One More Tab on the GUI with all the features from the previous version.

So then Totem can have a Simple easy to use GUI for New users, and for Advanced users, we can have all the features we want..

I'd suggest to take couple of cards, open them and check these clips - trailers and full versions .. are they similar to each other ..
Some times ago there was a discussion going in forums about such a thing as "overstripping". Which was about, that almost a half of full show clips start with the girl fully clothed, so what a waste of space and time - so much doubled stuff actually in purchased cards - looks like every clip starts with the demo ..

Take a look and do, what you feel. You can get these trailers back at any time by right clicking on Trash .. Look for updates .. for the card. They're not lost.

But it's up to you. Depends on card o/c .. Demos are different and quite a lot are probably worthy to keep as well. So it's hard to decide ..

Well I have every card I can, so I don't have any not downloaded cards to clean up demos for. My question in my post above (with the posted screenshot) was are those (Demo) files redundant for me or not?

Am I loosing anything useful if I delete those or are those 100% redundant to the file right above it with the name clip file number in the first column? Are those non (Demo) clips the exact same but longer fuller versions of the same or are they different and in anyway useful to me and worth holding on to for anything?

If they are totally redundant and useless to me I might as well dump them, but if there is some way that they might be good to keep then I feel I should. Having the demo files for my entire collection of 2360 cards is probably adding up to a fair amount of space after all.

One other thing I really don't understand is why did Totem make the transitional clips also called demo anyways? Would is not have been much wiser to simply label them something like (Transition) instead so there would be zero ***** about which is which. If I clear my demos I don't think I want to remove those but how do I tell them apart?

For now, if you suggest I remove my demo clips, I'll just do up to the 3K ones as suggested to me above, but longer term there really should be a better way!

Nope, the program won't do that, if you have cleared the checkbox for Automatically Download Demos in Settings of course. All you have are the gray girls on the carousel (picture card images) and the Download button below for the manual download.
Once deleted the carousel demos are gone for good from your HDD.

Edit: Downloading demos manually gives you a chance to download only those, which you'd really like to see, not all of them.

No. :) We are talking about demo clips for cards you haven't bought. If you check your models folder, you will see that there is a folder for each card you own. Those folders are more than 100 MB in size. You will also see a lot of folders with sizes under 100 MB. These smaller folders are created when a demo is loaded to your carrousel. They hold just the 2 or 3 demo clips for that card. If you buy the card, the full set of clips are load. If you don't buy the card, when it rotates off the carrousel the folder still remains. If you have enabled P2P these folders are used to support that function, but the clips in these folders can no longer be viewed on your VG app until they rotate through the carrousel for another time. That's why some new clips appear on the carrousel instantly - they were already on your hard drive. Some people feel these folders waste space on their hard drive and want to delete them. I feel they are an inconsequential fraction of the space required by the folders of cards I really own, but I have a large hard disk and space is not an issue for my (yet).

The clips you're pointing to are demos of cards you own. Some people don't want to play demo clips ever. The VG application has a facility for deleting those clips which others have already described. It is also possible to delete other unwanted clips for cards you own. This will save additional space if that is important to you. Since space is not an issue for me, I prefer to simply disable those clips. That way, I can enable them later if my tastes change.

Added note:

You surprised me by showing two clips with the same number. I didn't know that happened. I just check my collection. I have 618 cases were I have both a demo and a regular clip with the same number. I also have 2484 demo clips that do not match a real clips number. I did a spot check. I think the demos with numbers that match a regular clip may be edited versions of the regular clip. However, I simply played half a dozen clips and can't be sure. This clip sizes are not the same, but sometimes very close.

If this is true (I do not own any 'e' or 'f' cards), then you can still select all cards.
First, go to 'filters' in the my collection. Remove the check mark from 3K from both selected resolution and available resolution.

This way, not one of the 3K (interactive) cards will be visible in your VG interface.

Now, you can safely select all cards showing in the interface, then right click the delete icon, and click 'delete demos only'.

This only works for cards without transition clips, because this method deletes the .vhdtrailers datas. You need these to play the non nude transtion.

I use for the new cards (with transtion) the method to uncheck the demos (like in your pic) and right click and choose 'only delete deactivated'.

These are playable for me, but they seem to have the name number in the clip file column, so are these just redundant partials of the none (Demo) versions?

I currently have 2360 cards in my collection so I imagine I could save a lot of space here by doing this right? I do not use P2P so no loss to anyone else. I ***** to remove them if they are unique, but might as well remove them if they are truly redundant.

Another perspective......
If you don't want to share your hard drive space with Totem then don't.
You cannot get a bunch of demos if you only have a few models on your carousel.
The others who choose to have more models they can turn on P2P so in sharing the hard drive space you are getting more models. It sounds to me like you want a bunch of models but don't want to share your hard drive in P2P.

As at 6:30 p.m. EADT, on Saturday, 6th December 2014, we have had 12 members record their distribution of 30 possible votes.

Here is an Interesting perspective:

I have 2745 cards in my collection.
Just took inventory of every .demo clip

46GB of Demo Clips.

With the Price of HD's dropping all the time..
I priced out a 2TB HD.
$72 lowest price I saw, $89 on the higher side

So lets say $80 bucks...

2TB = 2048GB
$80 / 2048 X 46GB = approx $1.80

So for $1.80 you can Keep Every .demo clip for every single card..

Now doesn't that put things in a different perspective?

All this to do over a few Pennies...worth of space..
