That's the plan. I've already gone that route, but thanks for adding the advice to this thread. I found a conversion tool that works. I don't want to implement that option yet, until I hear back from Totem about the license/legality issue.

Incidentally, the ripping option isn't the best. Videos which contain both music and sound produce mp3 files with both together in the sound output. Not exactly the desired effect. A clean copy of the music direct from Totem is perhaps the best for me.

My guess is that if you'd like to listen to this music just as a song or add it to your VG shows as mp3 file, you must download the video first and then rip the music from the video by using third party software.
Make a search: how to rip audio from video .. to find more info ..

Allegedly it can be done with VLC Media Player as well, but as I've not done it with this program, can't say anything about it.

i'm not really sure, but i think the music in the videos is made by Totem themselve. and i'm not sure if they're willing to add those songs to the software.

but it would be a great addition.

I searched the forums. There is chatter about music, but I can't find anything on this particular subject.

I may want to play them with this software from time to time and most certainly don't plan to share them or use them on any other device. Canada is on a crusade to wipe out software/music/P2P piracy right now, and a trip to Versailles to answer to a summons isn't on my agenda.

Feature #414: Follow Registry to play clips: Behaves as a user click on the clip.
The program checks every 250 milliseconds if the registry value 'parameters/ForceAnim' contains a clip name (ex: a0001\a0001_0101.demo or a0001_0101.demo). If yes, the program plays this clip and clears this registry value.
The program stores in the registry value 'parameters/CurrentAnim' the clip name (ex: a0001\a0001_0101.demo) of the first girl on the screen.
The program stores also in the registry value 'player/currentClips' all the clip names (ex: a0001_0101.demo a1000_0101.demo) separated by a space.

In your Fullscreen preview window, you will see an odd effect of a reversed, upside down mirror image of the models. This does not happen in the Fullscreen mode. This weirdness takes the clipNameSprite, enlarges and mirror images it in the middle of the shader! The water ripples distort everything so you don't notice it so much :)

that's right. the classics work the same as VG2. you have one card/show with five different outfits (few of them have only four outfits).
and you will see not every card was remastered as a classic card (only 259). in case that they're remastered from the original tapes and sadly not every tape has the quality for a good remastering.
also you will see quality differences inside the classic-cards.
but for me it's worth to buy them and see them in that large size.

ok folks sadly you will have to wait a bit longer. The feature is back in VG but its quite different from before.
I asked Alexis if there is a chance to change it to the way it was but if he says its not then i will have to change quite a lot of my program so it works the new way.

Actually, the level of membership is based on all collections from all websites.
VirtuaGirl (set a)
VirtuaGuyHD (set b)
DeskBabes (set c)
VirtuaGirl Classic (set d)
and of course the interactive cards (sets e & f)

What shows up in one's collection on a website, is all of the currently-available cards on that website. (VirtuaGirl and VirtuaGirl Classic count together)
What shows up in one's collection in the program interface, is all cards from all websites.

The current VirtuaGirl (VGHD) has usually just one take for each girl. The difference is that each outfit has its own main pic. This is something that VG2 never had (except those tiny pics).

One other difference is that VG2 usually had five outfits per take (not counting duos), while VGHD usually has six per take.

VG2 had something that VGHD does not have, and that is partial nudity in the main girl pics. The outfit pics do not have nudity though.

In my post, I show all of the last 50 girls at VG2, and these you will see also at VirtuaGirl (VGHD), except for three models whose cards have been removed.

Ah, got it... I thought every outfit had a seperate show/take/card like nowadays on VGHD but that's not the case. That's unfortunate because this means that my original intention to replace every VGHD card with it's original VG2 image doesn't work out.

the latest takes from VG2 are released in VGHD. that's the reason why you see some outfits on VG2 cards that you knew from VGHD.

Those names you will find at VirtuaGirl (VGHD).

They were not separate takes at VG2; they were separate outfits. Separate outfits do not get different main pics; only one pic for all outfits of a single take.



For example:

The picture (top) is Sonia Red. She had only one take, and therefore only one main pic. This is the original size.

The series of pictures (bottom) is Sonia Red's individual outfits. She had a total of five outfits, and no duos. These are the full sizes (no reduction). These are all a part of her single take.

The same is true for Elya. Whatever outfits she had at VG2, these were all part of a single take.

Yes amd I'm searching the pics/original cards for her shows called "Night Clubbing", "Nursing Care", "Pleasure", "Artistix" and "Sporty Day". You can find them nowadays in the VGHD store. I actually don't know if they were available at that time (as I became a member last year) but I guess so, because they have similar cardnumbers.

I may be able to shed some light on this problem, having been a PayPal user for some time. Using PayPal in the checkout for various sites has limitations specific to the site and specific to the user's account.

In my case, I can't use PayPal with VirtuaGirl because I don't have a credit card linked to my PayPal account.

In the attached screen-dumps I see the PayPal tab in VirtuaGirl's payment section, but the Epoch payment partner requests a credit card anyway, in spite of the fact that I chose PayPal at the outset.

(I blanked out my IP address freehand at the bottom of the screen-dump to comply with VG's TOS/EULA.)

Epoch's customer service couldn't identify my problem, suggesting only that I contact PayPal for a possible resolution.

PayPal explained it in terms of the differing agreements it's vendors have with PayPal. (i.e. - my Achilles' heel was due to Epoch's specific payment requirements of PayPal, and the fact that my account with PayPal would have delayed payment beyond their terms. More clearly stated: Epoch wanted immediate payment, and wouldn't wait the 8-10 days for my transaction to clear the bank. I tried again after loading up my account balance with PayPal to no avail.)

My situation turned out to be a catch-22 of sorts. I doubt this was Totem's intention when they set up an agreement with Epoch as a payment partner, but from my perspective, the PayPal tab and the Credit Card tab are one and the same.

For individual users, it may be to your advantage to check with PayPal's customer service to identify your specific problem.

My solution was to obtain a prepaid credit card, which I use exclusively for online transactions. Sad for Epoch, which forfeits in the end. The Credit card tab here on VirtuaGirl directs me to a different payment partner.

Hope this "non-help" helps in some small way. :(

Are you talking about the Elya as seen in this picture?

If yes, this is her picture at VG2. Though I guess that VGHD Elya Country Girl looks the same.
However, Elya only had one picture for this take (entire session).
Did she have more than one take at VG2?
Most girls each had a single take at VG2, though some like Zuzana and Nella had more takes. Each take has a different picture. For example, Zuzana had three takes, the third one identical to all of her VGHD cards. There are three different pictures.

52-56 still shows nothing, but I found 74-79

Sadly there are some cards missing. For example the only card I've found for Elya was "Country Girl". But it's a great start.

However if anyone knows further sources, I'd appreciate them :)

Be aware, if you look on these websites you might find a male model called Terry, instead of the intended female model at VG2. (I have no idea why, but some website have the wrong picture for Terry)

I currently have 233 different pictures of girls, not one girl twice. This is entirely based on my previous VirtuaGirl2 collection, though a few maybe were not actually there.
I never downloaded the animation files of more than one single take of each girl (including Zuzana, Sandy, Kyla Cole, Stacy Silver, Adriana M, and Nella)
So, I have only a single main picture of each individual girl.

I do not have a website and am not a member of a website that shares such stuff.


The top screenshot shows the names of every single girl that I could find that was in my collection at VG2. The original pics are each 254 by 376 pixels.

The bottom screenshot shows the names and tiny pictures of all of the duos that were in my collection at VG2. The original pics are each 89 by 146 pixels.

Many months ago, I did a search for the main girl pics for VirtuaGirl2 to see if I could get a complete collection of all girls that were in my collection. The following is the results (a lot of the pictures/names are the same; some are different):
