When I purchased the 5th card (Kristina), the app was hanging on the "adding card" screen. When I closed that screen, it labeled Kristina as "Seee her naked" again as if I didn't buy it. When I clicked on "See her naked", it told me I already owned the show. I looked in My Collection and it was not there. Only after I quit and relaunched iStripper did it show up in My Collection and begin downloading. Just thought I'd let you guys know. I hope there are no issues receving the free Marilyn show. I'm one card away from becoming a Gold member, and I want that last card to be special. I've been trying to build my collection with different girls, and i've come to learn that I particularly like the more sensual and suggestive dancers. Merry Pie is the best dancer in my collection, and Kimmy Granger is a very close 2nd. Are there any other girls that dance as smoothly and sensually as these two?

ALL reviews are SUBJECTIVE based on the reviewer's preferences. There's NO way around it.

Eg: "She shakes her ass a lot." Now that could be interpreted as an objective observation. It also could mean that the reviewer noticed this to an extent that they mentioned it in their review. Does that mean the reviewer likes or dislikes this behaviour? We don't know unless they tell us.

What it does tell us is that the reviewer noticed this. Therefore, their reaction was to comment on the action.

So... what it does tell us is that the reviewer has strongish feelings, one way or the other. He/she may not be honest with their feelings but it tells us they were thinking about it and maybe trying to influence people, even tho it might be vague.

Chances are that when there are comments of this sort, the reviewer was in support of the action, or why mention it at all?

Hope that makes sense to a few people.

For example what counts as "ass shaking" as opposed to simple wriggling. Even judgements of "smiling" are subjective - is a particular smile perceived as a genuine expression of pleasure or is as an artificial attempt to do so.

When a comment is just a summary, then it's boring. One must be inspired.
There was a reporter in The Netherlands many years ago who did report for the radio the Tour de France and footballmatches. His name was Theo Koomen, but the public made of it Klara (name of a female) Komen (=cumming). He could be very, very enthousiastic with high, higher and highest voice reporting. We liked that!

When there is an enthousiatic and objective review of a book or whatever, then I'm going to buy it.

@zzmaskers - I hope that you are not misinterpreting my comments. I do appreciate reviews such as the one you posted. The fact that I regard most of it as subjective was not meant to be a negative reaction. I think a good review has to be subjective because the most important things in any review are how much the reviewer enjoyed the performance and what he or she thought were the good and poor aspects of the show. A purely objective review would be very boring being little more than a list of various statistics and would be the same whoever wrote it.

Largest Collection Awards - Last month managed to get into list 100 .( But NO border around icon for August award , just 3 diamonds . ( I'm impressed , I'm not ha )

Collection Awards or Full Sets Awards - Some lucky member have to spend alot for that month to get a border award icon .

I would have to wait 3 years not to buy any "SHOWS" from now . So when I do get 1200+ shows to buy or even 400+ sets to get , then I can get shiny Gold border around my icon . ( Yeah!!!!! )

Then the above comment, here, did stick. So I thought Demi Fray thread was closed - after all, at least 25 extra votes were added over the last week - apparently to no avail, But I have just had a `pop-up' of a reply, on that thread. That reply was saying the same thing I was trying to say. I guess I am `banned' from the thread!

Great but odd offer.

Because I know it's Marilyn I will forgo my rule of ignoring random card offers. So I'm definitely in - the hard part will be choosing which 5 as they are all desirable cards. Zazie for sure, probably Hillary, and Kristina too but cannot miss offer as it was a great week of cards!

That said what about those that already bought some or all of this weeks cards? Are you trying to deter those that buy the cards they want as soon as they are released.

And why limit it only to this weeks cards? Are not these the cards that are already most in demand? Everyone's taste are different and had this week only had 4 cards that I was interested in I would have passed again. If you want to limit the selection consider a bigger pool too choose from. 1. Pole skills are not subjective any more than futbol skills are..people are either skilled around the pole or not.
2. Smiling is objective
3. Pace and energy are objective
4. Slapping butt is objective
5. No special tricks is objective-ish
6. Slapping butt, ass shaking are objective
7. and of course the number and type of clips is objective.

Well a card is about the same price as a can of coke so I am not so sure that an in depth review is really something I would need to see before making the transaction. Young girl, going to get naked on my desktop for under a $1.50, I'm sold 😄

@orclover - I agree that the example you posted was one of a good review and I would like to see more of them.

However, for me only the last two lines are objective. Even then the last line is very subjective in what the reviewer has chosen to be objective about, shoes staying on and clips starting with full nudity - things that I personaly find irrelevant (shoes) or are negative aspects of a performance (I am much more interrested in the number of clips that start fully clothed because I prefer striptease to nude dancing).

I would need to see several such reviews for a card before I felt any confidence that their subjective parts had any validity, or, alternatively, have seen several reviews by the same person so that I had some Idea of whether his views coincided with mine.

I have said before that I think it would be a good idea if Totem automatically generated a summary of each card along the lines of the penultimate line of the review. This is all information that is already present in each card's xml file but until you purchase the card you can not see it.
