333 Credits, All I wanted was to not miss that Special Event Card, but all I have to show for it is 11 shitty cards which are either lowres, or not on my wishlist.

I'm all for having promotions to encourage people to spend their credits, but when the odds are stacked against the player, it just makes me feel cheated never want to spend money on this platform ever again!

We should be rewarded for playing!

I really wanted this new special card so here are my stats:

800 + all of the bonus credits used

• > about 300 scratch cards maybe even more
• > I was rewarded with 100 credits 4 or 5 tiimes and got 10 credits back every other scratch card

85 cards recieved in total

• > 3 of them were special cards (and 15 other special scratch cards were empty. The odds (for me) for a special scratch card to show up were about 1/19 )
• > 29 of those 85 cards were medium quality cards = 301,6 credits
• > 13 cards were standard quality = 169 credits
• > 43 were premimum quality cards (including special cards) = 650 credits + 3*X (where X are the special cards)

I would consider buying 13 of those 85 cards (2 special cards included)

So in the end I recieved cards worth 1120,6 credits for 800 credits.
buying the 11 cards I wanted (special cards excluded) I would pay 181,5 credits which means that 2 special cards were effectively sold for 618,5 credits.

Welp, including the credits won from the scratches, I've used over 1K credits without a single special event card to show for it, and about 20 cards that I had absolutely no interest in.

Now, I'm one of probably very few who just decided to go headfirst into this, just to see what it's like since I missed the last scratch game, and... yeah, I'm not a fan. I'm still going to support Totem, because I do genuinely enjoy the service, but I can tell ya that I'm not playing any other scratch games that might come up, period, UNLESS there's something like "spend <X amount> credits and get one special event card guaranteed," or some other way to make sure that I don't just end up wasting a ton of credits, while - at best - getting cards I already decided not to get, even when given 50 or 75% discounts in the slot machine.

I honestly hope that either this game at the very least won't include exclusives in the future, or gets some way that you can be sure to get the exclusive card within a certain reasonable number of tries, if it has to come back at all. The slot machine at the very least always gave something (even if you weren't interested), which the scratch cards don't & only cost 1 credit per spin, as opposed to 10 times that much, where you might not even get anything, or be given cards that you never wanted in your collection to begin with.

Maybe we should start a new thread "More nice clothes and less lingerie in normal cards".

In iStripperXXX format the girls are presented in, for lack of a better term, nice clothes.
Not really enthusiastic about XXX cards, and not really enthused about too much lingerie in the non-XXX shows.

I don't see any remembering when Totem was literally giving money away when the buy 1000 credits get 250 or whatever the extra amount was and that lasted longer then a weekend. A company first priority is to make a profit. The money is not at the 3 diamond level. We already getting a heck of a discount and more than likely we already either have all the cards or have picked all the cards we mostly want. If this was my company I would be going after the lower users and getting them hooked in as well. As with most HOBBIES in life you never going to get back what you put in it so you either pay the cost and keep enjoying or finally say enough is enough and get out of it. That's really your only 2 options.

Istripper was fun while it lasted but ***** man after Wyldanimal pointed out, it's my fault for trusting this company and I don't think it will change. No, the 25 credits was an average base cost of cards before discounts. (crystal clear quality)
My average was 12.65 per card. (amount actually spent out of pocket vs number of cards won) All in all a good price.

However, that said, After my post I found that quite a few of my free cards were of medium quality. Mediums only cost me 10.4 at the moment. (9.36 on a 10% flash sale) So I did over pay for mediums, and I basically broke even on Standards. I only actually made out well on the crystal clears.

It would take me a while to check all the cards to see what the total ratio was, but at diamond level, it was simply faster than waiting for 10-20% flash sales. At a lower tier, it would be a great deal at my level of success.

Eventually enough people will stop playing and Totem will rethink the strategy. With every exclusive card produced the less interesting the exclusive cards will become. I know I know long card about the cards themselves but still ***** the idea more are to come.

Last Black Friday I predicted 4-6 exclusive cards in 2019; my thinking was one every quarter or every 2 months. We had a New Years card and an early March card so it looks like 6 this year but I doubt this continues into 2020.

Sure they can play or not play but what remains the problem is making cards unavailable to those who are either too thrifty or too smart to gamble away their credits. You cannot just say their will be another game because thus far all the games require you to throw your credits away one way or the other and that is the point so I don't see it changing.

I have too much self respect to play the fool so I will not be getting the exclusive cards. I think a smarter way would be to bundle them with credit large purchases but even so Totem is likely to go out business before I run out of credits so even that kind of offer wouldn't help in my case at this point.

Actually no - I wouldn't have done. I would have put a limit on what I spent - probably 100 credits - I am not a gambler by nature. I don't even do the lottery.

Also TBH I didn't know the Ginebra card was part of the deal at the time.

The scratch card screen came up when I first booted the computer. Normally I cannot play the TGIF because I have all the cards. As I hadn't purchased Friday's cards at that point I thought I'd give it a go to see if they were included. Nobody was more surprised than me when I got an exclusive card on the second attempt.

To be honest I do not entirlely disagree with your post. I personally do not think exclusive cards should be down to pure chance. Making a comitment such as the Advent Calenders or purchasing something that gives a financial comitment to Totem ( e.g. Black Friday sales) should be sufficient.

Yes I'm sitting out of the arguments over exclusive cards, gambling etc.

I've never bought anything from Amazon so have no idea what they offer or don't.

My point is that, as long as it's stated clearly in the original T&C's (as Totem have done) that once the credits, tokens or whatever they might be called are bought freely, knowing that they are not transferable, then the money is legally considered as spent. No refunds for cash. No hope of ever recovering that cash. for any reason whatsoever.

Please note that the above is a personal opinion and may just be the rantings of a ***** fool.

IMHO Totem are experimenting with this?

There has been some discussion on other threads as to whether or not keeping the current discount system is viable.

As a percentage, the triple diamond status is actually far lower now than it was when the original discount was set. Many more customers are achieving this level and will continue to do as time goes on.

Totem therefore need to achieve other ways of increasing their income. These games of chance may just be a way of doing this.

For example the last two games have featured chances of winning a card that isn't available yet.

The Kay J Victorean Secret card in the Goose game was possibly an initial trial without an exclusive card. The card will be regularly available shortly but did enough people take up the chance to get it early make it economically viable to let Totem think it may be doing with an exclusive card?

Was the switch to an exclusive card for a Ginebra show something to test the waters with what is obviously an extremely popular model. Would enough people pay extra credits to make this a viable proposition going forward?

As someone who has virtually all of the cards I cannot say that I would be particularly happy with this going forward however I have a lot of money invested in Totem and I certainly don't want to see it fail.

Just looking at the maths I think I paid out 24 credist to get the Kay J card and I got the Ginebra card for an outlay of 20 credits. The total outlay therfore is approx 44 credits for two cards that would have cost approx 27 credits.

There is usually a method behind every madness and is this Totem's way of saying that the Diamond memberships are costing them too much and they need to find another way of increasing revenue even if it looks as if it is unpopular with a vociferous minority of customers?

I would say that pornhub is not really the same market at least not for me. I like collecting the cards but only the ones I want. And IS shows are more passive; I watch them while I work or surf the web or as I type this.

I have long hoped for competition from one of the bigger names in US but so far no go; I would probably be a member of both as for me it's all about the girls but another place to shop would be a welcome distraction for those times Totem excludes me from theirs.

I'll invest ~50 credits like each weeks and not more. And I don't like game that play luck with my money...(sad for you but real)

I myself was able to win Niemira's 2017 advent calendar card more than a year after its release. If you don't want to do the scratch cards to try and win this Ginebra's special event card, you will get other chances to obtain it later on.

I don't want chance to be involved in anything I desire to purchase from iStripper. The promotions and games are not fun for me. I've been a customer for a long time and know what kind of cards that I like. Flash Flood is the kind of card that inspires me to add credits to my account and return to the Girls Store to check the new cards.

I feel like I have been swindled out of $30 trying to get Flash Flood. And now the card will taunt me every time I come to check on the new Cards. I will be reminded of wanting the card, of feeling that I have been swindled out of money to not get it, and then a moderator telling me, to paraphrase, "suck it up."

This is not good. At least, not for me.

I take back what i said it took forever but i have the card i walk away for a few hours and just try it and to my suprise on the second draw won the card it way to time consuming but i did get the card i wish everbody the best of luck and lots of patience.

Spent $25 myself with no Flash Flood and a lot of cards I immediately deactivated. At least provide a % chance to actually get Flash Flood - even casinos do that much. If I play roulette, I know my odds are a little less than 1 in 36 of hitting a number, for example. I would not have played this game if I knew the odds were so low and I will not be playing any more events with iStripper until this is addressed. I'm a double diamond member and have spent a lot with iStripper, but this type of event makes me want to stop spending entirely.
