Ahhh... the ol' water alarm clock did me just fine. Drank enough before going to sleep and woke to ***** just as 5 Davon Kim cards were left. Given that Totem was generous enough to bring back the calender system for VIP members, If I was maxed out I would never buy any of the new cards on special, unless they were selling extremely slowly. When maxed out members buy the new cards on special they are essentially depriving newer members of the opportunity to discover Totem's latest and greatest at a discounted price. But I guess for some members, especially certain self-appointed leaders, the "me first" attitude will always trump any other consideration.

Apart from the newbies the specials are very predictable.

There's several options but I would respectfully suggest either change the existing option or remodel it, we appear to have an extremely short list of model cards available for specials and it's getting very B-O-R-I-N-G seeing the same cards all the time !

I would suggest a random model name then put ALL of that model's cards on special for a fixed time period say three hours, if necessary restricted to one card per member in each time frame. It might be a one card model like Andie or Giselle or it might be a 12 card model like Jana H who knows but at least it would be different.

Back on page 21 I compiled a list of the specials they had to date, comparing it to the ones released since then and with the exception of the new cards and the Jenna Sweet/Amandine duo recently, all the cards since have already been offered several times before.

Is it bad prgoramming of the random script or is it by design?

I do believe it's part of the design since they probably don't exclude cards that have already been one sale from the random selection. This means that in theory a card could come on sale two times in a row...
