SOME disagreement sure, but certain people have popped up several times with... "I can't believe you didn't include this one" and "I can't even vote because I like this one". Jeez. With 25% negative votes, someone who obviously took thier time to place people in certain categories and organize A LOT of polls... they probably fell like crap. I wouldn't, because its seems like the same negative people.

Ambler - No one is ***** you to look at these polls. You are not obligated to participate in any way necessary. I welcome criticism but if these things annoy you, then don't bother with them. Simple as that.

I'm not knocking his efforts, but his choices often don't fully make sense. Probably because he's not fully aware of the product line.

And if the candidate I would vote for is consistently eliminated prior to the start of the poll for no sensible reason and there is no possibility for write in or even an option to just see the poll results, I have no choice but to point that out in the thread. Sorry that bothers you.

@Ambler - it's just a fun competition and the choices are simply to group girls together who severin24 thinks might compete well as far as votes go. As he has said over and over again, all girls will be included eventually.

I tend to think, given the reaction from some quarters (not just Ambler), it might have just been better to group the girls for the competition via a random draw, although I completely understand severin24's reasons for not doing it that way.

While you guys have been complimenting each other, Chiara has managed to sneak up on Ennie. How is this possible, I deleted my one Chiara card ages ago.

It becomes less fun when very strong subjective statements are made right at the start, such as "no other girls look as good as these in terms of youth", but then anyone who voices a differing opinion gets slammed.

I would suggest that if pollmakers are both going to limit severely the options and then ***** when other names are suggested, that the Other option be systematically included. At the very least, this can compensate for errors of omission and would allow me to write in Divine or Felina or whatever.

The first three girls go through to the next round, but looks like it might be a very close run thing on this one.

The problem with that Ambler is that only one or two people will actually write in their candidate. It makes the "other' option pointless.

And I am not "slamming you". It just that most of these girls will fit in more than one category.

Well then just disregard the Other results, unless named write in candidates outnumber the poll winner. Most polls have a Not Sure or I Don't Know option. On Vgirl the polls generally have a Show Me the Results option.

I don't know who's winning here, because I didn't vote. But to me the point of doing a poll is the discussion that surrounds it. You yourself previously said that you welcomed other suggestions.

Apasas - Usually, I will wait for someone to break the tie. If they don't by the deadline, then I have to go by ratings or popularity. I was thinking it would be fair to take both girls who are tied and move them to the next round. What you think?

I don't really mind how you do it. I was just asking out of interest. I just asked because you could possibly have a 4 way tie here.

Putting both girls through would be fine and would appease those whose favourite, not that I care about that personally.

However, I think it would be nice to have a definitve result each time.

If you are online can check regulalry, you could just make the rule that the first one to go ahead wins. I think thats what you do anyway from what you said.

If you can't wait online, then the best solution would be to extend the poll by a fixed amount of time determined by yourself. In fact that is probably the fairest method.

The next option is "Everyone loses."

Then probaly the worst option is to rerun the poll.

In the end you should do it in the way you like.
