Certainly not a good idea as far as I'm concerned. I want to see pretty girls dancing on my desktop, not somebody playing with an animal that terrifies me.

What you have to remember is that if Totem were to add a card with a snake in it, subscribers such as myself could have it automatically sent to their desktop with no choice in the matter. This could result in any subscribers with a genuine phobia becoming very ill and could lead to legal difficulties for Totem. It's a very very bad idea.

And that is quite apart from the legal and moral issues regarding the use of animals for entertainment.

Anyway, Totem would probably have difficulties getting a Snake to Agree to a Show !!!
Are there many Snakes in the Czech Republic ???
They'd have to be Black or at least a Bit Ethnic !!!

I am in no way in agreement with you, some people have snakes for pets and some people do not like dogs or cats...
Look at the show of Karina/Heartfelt words with its Yorkshire, are people rebelled?
Although we made, although we say there will be always of for and of against...what about circus shows?

Even if the girl is very beautiful, her successful show, it ya will always have people to criticize...With or without accessory...LOL!

The fact is that you have a choice whether or not to go and see a circus show with animals (and such shows are thankfully is dying out anyway). As a subscriber on vghd you get no choice as to the next card which card appears on your desktop.

There is a huge difference between a small domestic dog appearing on vghd and a snake appearing. I doubt very much if seeing a small dog on their desktop could make anyone physically ill. There are however, people with genuine phobias against snakes who have a very strong physical reaction, making them very ill indeed. I myself have experienced severe illness in the past resulting from such a phobia. If Totem started adding cards such as suggested here I would have no option but to uninstall the software and stop using vghd, and all the money I've spent building my collection would be *****.

Thankfully, I doubt very much whether Totem would even consider this suggestion as a possibility.

I understand your reasoning, it is certain that if that make ill of people, it is not really funny...
However it can have people there who like this kind of show as the others like the fetichism or quite other show...
Not being sectarian I say to myself that it takes all sorts to make a world...
