Thank you for your response! After reading the thread you suggested she was a little disappointed that we had to change the registry in order to activate the guys then change the registry once again to activate the ladies. It is too bad that the option of buying the male cards are not included in the regular iStripper program without having the need to change the registry every single time. I guess she was hoping to have both male and female cards playing at the same time for the both of us to enjoy when going full screen mode to add a little spice and variety to the program. Maybe it is something to consider in future updates of the iStripper program as I am sure we are not the only couple enjoying this amazing and beautiful program.

Meanwhile I guess I'll just have to keep dancing for her to entertain her sexual desires lol ... and I dance ugly but I do try my best not to laugh or get stoopid or trip over my own 2 feet lmao. The girlfriend and I have been using the iStripper program for a year now and she just came across this forum about VirtuaGuy and she was wondering if she can download male cards into the program of iStripper also or is it a completely different program altogether? Through a little googling she found a version of VirtuaGuy program online lol inspired by this post but it is the same iStripper program and she even found the page of the male cards for purchase like the one for the female cards. Is it for the same iStripper program or would the version she found overwrite my version of iStripper on this laptop? (which would not be cool considering all the female cards we have purchased and the various screens we have collected so far from this site). I suppose her inquiry to male cards would only be fair considering we've been downloading female cards the whole time hehe. She also noticed that the male cards are of medium quality and dated back a few years. She was also wondering if the male cards are obsolete now or can she order some of those male cards from the page she found to add to our collection? I am not surprised that she has found a question relating to male cards lmao. Gotta luv her!!! 🤣

We were checking out your massive and excellent "Paris Penthouse Club" folder and you cover every single type of clips used from the Models including mirror imaging, duplicating and so forth. We found that whole folder to be a very valuable tool in the learning process and we were so happy that you have commented in each section of the scn file clearly outlining every step you took to create each individual scene. We will definitely check out the "Experiments" and the "EmuLib" folders as suggested among others you have created and we can't thank you enough for the assistance you have provided us, the directory you shared with us and the tip on the shaders issue in which we were so eagerly awaiting to learn more about. We both totally appreciate and respect the effort you took into creating these amazing scenes especially the comments section for all members to enjoy and for people like us who have a strong desire to learn and create our own unique scenes for our personal collection and to possibly share with others in the near future once we acquire more skills.

We have just received our 1 year anniversary badge on the weekend from iStripper and we celebrated in style with some wine, music and of course iStripper playing on the television the whole night lol and by creating our first experimental scene folder on our other laptop using pics from our own residence to give it that sexy personal feel and we laughed and had a great time working together on our very 1st project.

This iStripper program is probably the coolest and sexiest program we have encountered so far and we have had an amazing time so far in learning just the basics so far and it's only going to get better as we learn the in and outs of scene creation and animations. The possibilities are endless and we are both sooo excited to see what we both can create together as a couple. It will be interesting to see a woman's perspective as she has already some great ideas to provide to our future projects.

The achievements are nice, including the one for first forum post, and also the one for first card comment.
However, they do nothing except make more color images in the achievements tab.
The achievements only look good and cannot be used in any way.

Most of my scenes are heavily commented in order to help others learning how to code up their own. This is particularly true for those in the "Experiments" folder which are those that I used during my own early learning process but it is a practice that I have continued to employ in all but the simplest of cases.

With respect to shaders I have made minimal changes to many of those found on the Shadertoy and GlslSandbox web sites - these can be found in their own folders on my site. Except for my modifications these tend to be pooly commented. However my own shaders are heavily commented and may be useful to you. In particular the EmuLib folder contains many "utility" shaders with examples of how to use them.

I hope you have as much fun creating your own scenes as I have had creating mine.

Thank you so much for clarifying the cache file for us, well mostly for me. Sandi was right and she suggested that considering it is a cache file that the iStripper program most likely generated it automatically which explains the coding but I'm an idiot and didn't really know for sure 😁. Now I can relax and we both can focus on learning and designing our own personal fantasy screens and let our imaginations run free and wild inspiring us to visualize and create some cool scenes that hopefully others would also enjoy. There is so much to learn but with all of the various types of screen files available from the creative designers in this forum and the various themes and style of clips from the beautiful models we both can learn from all of you and this is going to be soooo much fun for the both of us!

The cache files are automatically created when you add a scene to the scene folder. They are basically the "thumbnails" that you see when you access the scenes in the GUI.

I guess I wanted to know which language is it written in and what program is needed to create those files if necessary. The other screen file associated with the scene files are written in plain English language which can be accessed through notepad or notepad ++ as you and @Number6 have suggested.

We did some experimentations with a random single model scene and with a 2 model scene folder and now understand how to modify and create basic scenes while modifying the clips in various ways as @Wyldanimal clearly explains in the link @Number6 provided including the positioning of the images including mask images if needed and which clip types to allow and deny from each model. The little misses is presently researching and learning about GLSL to understand about creating shadows, reflections and other animated effects. She as I are really invested into creating our own scenes and we are about to purchase adobe photoshop program soon as we are currently exploring the Gimp program for now that we have just downloaded. We used paint shop to modify pics prior to downloading Gimp as we took many pics of our living room and bedroom just for fun and we used them by modifying an existing scene folder just to experiment with and we had a good chuckle with the results lol. It makes the iStripper program sooo much more personal and so much sexier when you use pics that you are familiar with and one of the models kind of resembles the little misses which makes it even more fun lol. She luvs to perform for me as she mimics that one model lmao. I'm a lucky guy to have such a wonderful, intelligent and sexxxy woman like her in my life. She luvs it when I perform for her but I dance ugly and it always turns out to be a funny situation so I leave the dancing to her lmao. But I try my best to entertain her especially when we have a few drinks hehe.

We are having sooo much fun learning how to create our own scenes and would luv to learn all that we can to create amazing scenes for our own pleasure like so many members have already done. When we are able to create our own amazing scenes then we will of course share them with all members on this forum. After all is was her idea to download iStripper a year ago while drinking too much wine and feeling a tad naughty hehe and I am glad we did lol. The models are beautiful and very sexxxy and the iStripper program is so versatile for those with a little creative imagination. Thanks a bunch for sharing your index of scenes with us as we have already downloaded many of them and they are amazing. We do understand however that we have so much to learn but even with learning the basics over the weekend we have already created a few sexy scenes for our own enjoyment with many more to come as the possibilities are endless.

Rightcklick at systray works as intended, but only if you do not work with any other window again.
(Every click on any other window overwrites the girls immediately.)

I do not think turbotop makes any difference there.

Because Totem found a way to overwrite the OS being OnTop for the Taskbar girls I wonder, all these programs does not succeed generally.

I am not even on Discord - about which I have much perplexity - so I don't know if what i'll say is doable, but in my opinion the bare possibility to join the Discord iStripper server should be restricted to iStripper software's real members who moreover did actually buy in advance at least one card.

And @pickle1 too 👍 I'd say you should own all the shows available for a model in future doing another take and some signed photos to be able to enter the draw for those.

I declared a framebuffer which contains just the quad with the shader.
Then I displayed the framebuffer in a sprite, governed by an animated opacity.
It worked perfectly.

Thank you for your explanations. I haven't fully digested them yet, but I will.
The simple question arose because I want to use a mask so as to allow an animate clause to use loopforward in fading out 1 clipsprite for another. I found the simple quad works, but that with a shader did not.

Returning to @DrDoom9"s original question..

If one puts a shader fragment in a quad, the opacity of the quad connot be controlled ?

As @TheEmu has described..the quad's opacity cannot be controlled using .scn parameters
within the same node that the shader is acting because the shader takes over many of those properties.

However for building scene effects, one can refer the output of that shader into a subsequent
shaderless sprite node, where that output is able to be affected by the sprite node's parameters like opacity or animate.

My guess is that they are run but that the results that they create are not used if a user supplied shader is specified.

The most obvious way to implement the animate clauses would be as a "compute shader" (this is something that is run at a very early stage in the graphics pipeline before even the geometry and vertex shaders are run) in order to calculate simple global variables. It is even posssible that the values are theoretically available as fragment shader inputs (in the form of uniform variables, like the elapsed time which another such variable output from the "compute shader" stage) but if so I have no idea if this is how Totem have implemented it or, if so, swhat names they would have.

A quad's colour and opacity as specified in the .scn file are passed a fragment shader as the four components of the predefined vec4 gl_Color. A shader's output is whatever the shader assigns to the vec4 gl_FragColor.

Typically a shader will calculate the output based on various inputs, one of which may be gl_Color. If it uses any components of gl_Color as part of the calculation then the valuses specified for Color and Opactity the .scn file will affect the output from the shader.

In many shaders the sahder will first calculate a some result and then multiply it by gl_Color, eg..

vec4 Result;
Result = The result of some complec calculation not innvolving gl_Color;
gl_FragColor = Result * gl_Color;

This multiplication by gl_Color is usualy the last thing done in the shader. If it is not already being done then adding

gl_FragColor = gl_FragColor * gl_Color;

as the final statement will provide the desired effect.

In my earlier post I stated that animate clauses for color and opacity will have no effect if a shader isused - I am no longer sure about that (though I seem toremember that it is true) I have no time to double check due to the snooker semi-finals taking precedence.

After the camera is declared, It depends on the shader. If the shader properties make
say black transparent, then the rendered quad will have that property.
To make all the shader output be affected by a .scn opacty setting, I usually have to first render
the quad with the shader in a framebuffer and apply the opacity setting to that outcome
in a sprite node later. as below..

You can specify a colour and opacity for the quad but these will be inputs to the shader and only the values assigned by the shader itself will be used. You can read the input values and assign their values to the output within the shader. Animate clauses for the colour and opaciry will have no effect as these are effectvely parameters to a default shader that is not used if you provide your own.

Recommendations are difficult. We all have different tastes and the iStripper team attempts to cater for them all. The most important thing for most people is that they find the performer attractive, Then it's down to the performance. Some people want to see the girl masturbating and they go for xxx cards, where some are striptease fans and they prefer non-xxx. More xxx cards have been released in the last year and they often have 20mins+ of porn content, though many have good dance content too. Cards produced before about 2015 are lower resolution and there's a whole load of early low resolution stuff, that is strictly for collectors and won't be visible to you untill you have a large collection.

I suggest that you look through the Girls Store and click on any you fancy. Look at the tags, which indicate what categories the show falls under (big boobs, naked feet, cosplay, whatever-floats-your-boat) Check out the comments and download the previews. Check to see if the girl has more than 6 shows, because those who do were so popular that they were invited back for a second set (or 3rd, 4th, 5th....).

Check out the Discord site for pictures and news about upcoming releases. Beware of the games that run each Friday - they suck money.
