In simple this is called the 'Greater Fool Theory'. Meaning you buy something with no real value with the assumption you'll sell it to someone else at an even higher price. I've done it and it's worked out at times and then at other times I've also been left 'holding the bag'.

I definitely don't want to be the guy holding the bag in the porn crypto world but if you have a wallet and crypto you don't know what to do with then buying credits with crypto seems safe enough from a cost perspective. The price of credits is pegged to the dollar not Dolz as far as I understand (and I'm not sure that I do understand). Just don't hold on to Dolz if you are worried about losing money.

I'm more on the coming out with 'less than nothing'. I own crypto like a commodity (greater fool) but using a wallet is too near the seedy side of it. I want no part of the world where crypto is used transactionally. Today someone was telling me how they used crypto on Tor network to buy ***** while they were in high school. To each their own, I just hope I'm smart enough to sell my crypto before it's worth less than a tulip or pets.com :)

Over the last year I have put a lot of effort switching everything over to 4K, then optimizing iStripper's video output, while improving my card collection and changing the playlist I use and which clips are shown from each card. And it has gone really well. Too well. Now my work productivity if iStripper is running is... not great. Putting it generously. Especially given the absolutely fabulous iStripper models which even after harsh pruning results in a playlist of cards from more than 200 girls who are EXACTLY to my taste. And Totem keeps finding more of them! Every single clip from every single card that plays now is basically WHOA, GOTTA WATCH.

So... how do you guys do this? Is it even possible to have iStripper running while working? Because this is now the most distracting thing I have ever seen. I am hoping when (if?) Totem fixes the small mode video I can do better at not paying complete attention to the lovely, lovely girls but it's not a sure thing. Maybe I need to retire? 😉

It would be great to be able to download just the preview of shows we own.
I have a huge backlog and I'm sure I'm not alone in that.
When I'm looking through 'not downloaded' shows to pick one to download, having a quick look at the preview would be very useful. I don't think it would be too hard to implement, that feature is already there for shows we don't own.
It would just be making that available for all shows.

As I think of it - make previews available for Special Event cards to help us decide what to spend our precious Jokers on. The shows do have preview clips, which is kind of pointless if we can't download the preview.

Anyway, thanks for asking us for our input, I'm looking forward to seeing what the next version gives us.

you can write a 3rd party app to do something like this

I wrote a Media player based around the Windows Media Player.
It checks a registry value for a Song and Path.
it also sets a registry value if it is Playing or Stoped.
and checks a registry value if it should Stop

I then used Excel
I imported a List of Every card and every Clip
I wrote an Excel Script that Looks at the Totem Registry to Find out the Clip playing in the #1 spot.
Then I compare that to my List.
If I find a clip match, it plays the Music Assigned to that clip.
If there is no Clip Match, then it looks for a Card Match and Plays the Music for that card.
If no Card Match, then it checks the eroticy Level and Plays the Music for that Level
and if there is Not Level Match, then it plays a random Song from the list of Default Songs.

the Song and Path is Pushed to the Registry along with the Start Playing command.


It also can Play visualizations for the Background, as well as Video clips.

So the iStripper Model can Play in front of a Video or Visualization.

I used it for a long time, but then I stopped using it. Haven't used it for a while now..

Maybe I'll update the List of cards and clips and run it again..

If @mkst is correct in thinking that you are talking about the girls bunching up in the small size multi-girl desktop mode rather than in the scene mode then the reason for this is the way in which iStripper spreads the clips across the width of the screen. The following is an approximation to how it is done. For simplicity I will restrict myself to the case where there are only simple standing clips including pole dance clips.

Firstly, although each clip looks to be quite narrow they are, when played at 100% size, effectively approximately the same size and shape as your screen and during their performance the girls are free to wander all over this area.

When the small size multi-girl desktop mode is used the program, by default, will position smaller versions of these screen shaped areas evenly spaced across the screen but in such a way that they are all fully on the screen.

If you have configured to play only a small number of clips simultaneously or if the size you have specified for those clips is low then the program can position them such that they do not overlap. But if too many clips are to be displayed or a large size has been specified then the areas used for each clip will overlap and the distance between their centres will be reduced in order to keep them all completely on the screen. It is this that cause the bunching effect that you see (and that many of us, myself included, dislike).

Think what would happen if multiple clips were all displayed at 1005 size. They would all be the same size as the screen and in order for any of them to fully fit on the screen they would have to be displayed at the same place.

I am sure that the above is wrong in detail as the program seems to reposition clips only when something "untoward" happens (such as a girl walking off the edge of the screen) rather than simply using pre-calculated positions but the end result is much the same.

The solution is simple - go to the setting page and reduce the number of clips to be played, or their size or both.

Note, the program keeps track of where card centres have been have repositioned and will continue to use these memorised positions until you reset them. You can do this by ***** the each girl to a new position until you are satisfied (remember to ***** them slightly up the screen so that they drop down to the task bar or bottom of the screen rather than dropping off the bottom). A quicker way to reset the positions may be to exit the program 9using the Quit menu entry, closing the window does not quit the program), delete the file holding them (I think this is called entrances.dat) and restarting iStripper.

I think Totem is correctly concentrating on making the new version easy to use and attractive for new users. If they react the way *I* did to my first experience with the product- I bought credits FIVE times the first DAY, and they were mostly the 500 blocks- getting new users sucked in is waaaaay more profitable than making fancy changes for the experienced users that already have pretty much all the existing cards they want. And who have gotten the existing version to pretty much do what they want.

Of course, there are a lot more of us so it looks like we will get some goodies too. 😀

Istripper was in bad shape by 2013 when it was dying as vghd and what saved them was improving the talent, show scripting, and outfits dramatically by 2015, and maybe some luck having girls like Viola, Lucy Li, Nekane willing to shoot for istripper just as it was rebranding. People will flock to the product as long as it offers something people can't get for free and it is still the sole provider of naked girls dancing in a classy and consistent format. This is why I left the b/g and machine options blank as I really didn't want istripper to focus away from getting the best dancers or making the best dancers. I think this is why duo shows, group shows, and all xxx shows fail. We can get those all over the web, what we can't get it full body view dancing. And it is proven if people can't get erotica they want they will try to pirate it, and istripper is resilient to pirating and therefore people must buy it.

I finished the survey, I like the question of the new features, the ASMR and boy/girl features I don't really care about but the JOI, machine sex features I would really like to see.

I think you're referring to multiple dancers on the desktop (as opposed to a scene). On the desktop, you can click-n-***** the dancers to where you want them.

The vast majority of the full screen scenes (there are thousands of them) do not "push multiple dancers on top of each other." Which ones are you using that do that ?

Except for the strip club scenes, where the dancers are separated, all the other scenes push multiple dancers on top of each other.

A Joker is really just a card or show unless used it's unfulfilled; it has all the same cost and compromises as the exclusive cards but has no value unless redeemed. If you never use it the it will never have value.

Personally I have no interest in a Joker beyond what it can be used for and I do have a wishlist full of shows that I would love to have. But acquiring a Joker is no different that the exclusive cards possle worse... too much of a buzz ***** for me either way.

Slippage could be as much as 4% or 5% ! but it is normally in the 1% to 2% range
