For all the cage ***** here: Carmens show is without cage clips. The only show of the recent release that has cage clips is Lena Loves show.

Before Totem created DeskBabes, there was a "Duos" category of the VGHD Booster Packs. (If that category still exists in VGHD, I wouldn't know because I now own all VGHD Duo cards. If that booster pack category still exists, it would never be offered to me.) The VGHD Booster Packs were different in that they only contained 6 cards instead of the usual 10, but the price was the same. That was OK by me, as I considered the VGHD Duo cards to be more valuable.

It seems to me that Duos are pretty much the raison d'être of DeskBabes, and yet there is no DeskBabes Duos Booster Pack category. Should there be?

Assuming DeskBabes Duos cards are more expensive to produce and more valuable to collect, I would be fine with getting fewer than 10 cards in a DeskBabes Duos Booster Pack. We can discuss how many cards per pack in posts to this thread.

Okay one more thing is to try re-register. Right click Synchronize with server and click register again. For this you need your v number and password. But it will most likely reset your demo carousel.

If this does not work then you will have to log a request with customer services in the help section.

Hopefully it will work. ;-D

Apasas, I agree with you 100%. It's not that I don't like the idea of the cage, I think it suits well for certain cards suggesting ***** role-play but it shouldn't be done in every card.

The biggest issue I see is it's obtrusive, just like how furniture was used in the past (thanks god not as much anymore). It's a large object on my screen I don't want getting in the way of the content we are here to see!

Getting back to the "Best of the Month" Booster Packs:

I followed Wyldanimal's directions and found the most recent "Best of the Month" announcements for both VGHD and DeskBabes. (I knew I had seen them somewhere.) VGHD announced these 18 days and 52 days ago, while DB had them 7 and 35 days ago. None of these happened to interest me, but if an old one did interest me, I wonder how long an old Best of the Month booster pack remains available to buy.

Since these are a form of booster packs, I also wonder why they are not displayed in the "Booster Pack" tab of the VirtuaGirls Store (or DeskBabes Store) page?

One thing I did NOT see was any warning that if the purchaser already owned one or more of the cards he would not receive as many as 10 cards in that Best of the Month pack. Maybe that warning only appears after one gets closer to making a final purchase.

i tried the two suggestions, and now my entire collection is empty and doesn't want to reload. when i click on synchronize with server it is done after about 2 seconds. nothing happens after that.

...and the "Cancel Subscription" button is on the "My Account" page.

It's better to cancel your subscription here rather than to go to your bank and somehow "stop payment" on the payment process.

I totally agree with Loverboy1, and I hope this poll remains open long enough for a large number of negative votes to be recorded.

However, one thing this forum has taught me is that some of the things that I really ***** are the very things that a significant number of others really love. It takes all kinds, and no one's preferences are wrong. I'm encouraged that Rex has said that the cage will be used only sparingly.

Why so Big?
First off. Remember that VirtuaGirl is TRUE HD video. 720P
Each Card has approx 30 minutes of Video Clips

SO, what does that Mean?
HOW big is a 2 hour long DVD MOVIE? Answer: Approx 4.5GB for the Average 2 Hour Long DVD Movie.

So VG shows are 30 minutes or 1/4 of a movie.
Given that a 2 Hour movie is 4.5GB a 30 minute HD Video should be about 1.2GB

But VG is not Full Screen WIDTH, only about Half of the Screen Width is used.
So cut that size in Half and you are down to about 600MB size for 30 minutes.

as Alerte already demonstrated, The Video files are already compressed.

Your 450 cards will take approx 270GB of space.

Imagine for a moment that in all future pole clips every dancer will dance behind the pole and rarely, if ever, come out from behind it. Do you think there might be complaints?! But wait, that's not all. The pole will actually be made a little bigger in diameter and so short that artists like Suzie Q can't use it. Hmm! There's more! If the view of the girls isn't blocked enough by dancing behind one pole, it's decided that there should be not just one but three poles close together in front of the girls and so close that squeezing between them is difficult! No spins, no twirls, no acrobatics ... Wait a second ... isn't that a lot like ... the CAGE?

I think we all have our favorite types of clips. I know I do. I MUCH prefer standing and pole clips (with dancing!) over any of the taskbar types but I do enjoy the closeup views the taskbar brings and can find enjoyment in them, particularly as so many others perhaps prefer them. That's the thing: it's the view of beautiful women I love and I don't enjoy having it blocked in the way the cage can't help but do and in an unprecedented way. The more cage clips there are, the fewer other clips there can be.

I appreciate that some enjoy being transported to an earlier time with a personally enjoyable ambiance. And that others perhaps have a prison fetish or punishment fetish or S&M fetish or maybe not any fetish but just a little taste of those things. Personally, I ***** them and I need not go into just how much or why. But as long as the view isn't blocked and there isn't too much of it, I can be tolerant.

I don't want anyone to be deprived entirely of something they really, really enjoy or crave - just don't block or obscure my view!

Perhaps, make the cage clips like the big black chair clips - few and far between!

by definition the movie are already compressed then is not really interressing to compress one movie, here the result with Zip and Rar with the best compression possible. i want say you lost too much time when you compress for win really a little space.

now you can think only compress in normal for archive and ***** DVD -edit- not the best solution.


the more quick are to copy directly the folders VGHD

in one extern hardrive, personnally i use this method.

The cards you receive are random so it does not matter the rating of the card it just adds a card or up to four cards that are not in your collection.

Hi it's me again, sorry to be a *****, was going to subscribe then a couple of questions came into my head.

If if go for the highest monthly subscription package, do I receive the highest rated cards or lowest or what is the average rated cards I receive ?

And is it easy to cancel subscriptions at a later date, I have had a look at the Epoch site but it appears to not be very clear the process to me? I was thinking of taking the direct debit so I could cancel via my bank account?

Hey all first time posting anything on the site mainly cuz i've never had a problem or anything, but my ? is does anyone know if it's possible to compress the v cards once u download them ? and if so would they still work ? The reason i ask is because I had a pc crash and am haveing to re download them all and I happend to notice that I'm halfway through my collection and am at 200gigs just for the cards folder. It seems to be kinda large just for some hot chicks on my pc lol. Any coments on if its possible or not would be much appreciated.

I think we have seen some nice cage clips for example by Isizzu. They can use the bars to steady themselves when putting a leg up. And sometimes its also a nice tease when something is hidden by the bar.
I really like Rex announcement here that finally he recognized that not every show needs to have pole clips and not every show needs to have cage clips.
This gives me hope for more variety in the future with girls being able to show their strengths in the shows.
Example: Cherry Kiss was perfect standing, good on pole and ok on taskbar. So more standing clips would have been better there.

I was against the cage when it was first suggested and my view hasn't changed. I believed it obscures the view and this seems to be proved right.

I don't really see the point of having the cage open. A background would better.

However, like others I believe the cage could be a good theme prop for say prisoner, S&M and even some fantasy costumes. But it it is not appropriate for most cards. (Neither is the pole, but the pole is unobtrusive).

I think the problem is that in bars, the cage is used in a different way. The bars are there to show where the edge of the floor is so they don't fall off (irrelevant to VGHD) without obscuring the view of the punters. It is not meant to be a prison fantasy (although sometimes it may be). Also the point of the cage is that the viewer can see it from any angle, something that is not possible in VGHD. So VGHD doesn't benefit from the very advantages that make the cage worth using in a club.

The other use if the cage is the S&M fantasy. But that is not appropriate for many cards. When you have a school or office theme card, how is a cage appropriate? I don't see it.

Unlike the pole, the cage does not add enough benefits to be used for every card, in my opinion.

I don't mind it unless it starts to dominate a show, or if it turns into some kind of s&m fest... but if you turn a cage round to an opening, doesn't it become a cubicle?;)
I wouldn't get rid of the taskbar shots too, it's a good way of getting 'up close and personal' with the girls. What I have noticed is a shortage of girls that 'pop up' into view very close to the camera over the taskbar, I miss those...

They are Specials.

Sorry this thread has wandered far from its original topic of "Subscription," but the original poster's question about that was answered long ago.

The Best of the Month Packs are a Set of 10 specifically Selected Cards.

UnLike the Normal Booster packs which are Unique to each member and Made up of Cards you Don't already have.

If you Buy a Best of the Month pack, you Won't get a Duplicate Card,
Your collection won't show 2 of the same card..
but it will warn you if you Already Own a card that's included in the pack.

So If you already own one of the cards, you get a warning, and instead of 10 cards, you would only get 9. The price is the same regardless.. no refund or discount because you already have one of the cards.

Why?
Because the Best of the Month packs are the 10 best Selling cards, not selected randomly. It's a FIXED set of 10 cards..

Normal Booster packs are now being Shuffled on a regular Basis.
Army for example..
If there are NOT enough cards to give you 10 ARMY cards, then that Booster pack will not be on your list..
Example:
If there are 30 Army cards that you Don't own, then the Army booster pack will be a random set of 10, from the 30 you don't own.
If you Purchase it, then the next pack would be a random set of 10 from the 20 you don't own..

If you Don't purchase it, and then Look at it the next day, it will be a different Random set, as it has been shuffled.

Booster packs are now being Shuffled every 24 hours.

I think the cage should not be thrown away nor should it be over used.
It is an interesting prop & should be used for specific effect.
For me that effect should be in the realm of suggesting capture,restraint,punishment,sensual/sexy torment, wanton horniness, etc....
For example...
Girl outside cage, back to us,arms grasping bars above her head as though tied there, writhing suggestively to give the impression as though she is being whipped as she looks back at us with a slight look of wincing & horniness...
Girl dancing IN Cage humping & sliding up & down bars as though she is trapped inside & So horny!!
Girl dancing IN cage directly tempting us to come in & ***** her!(Amps up the "you can't get to her" tease aspect).

Some of the new Babes using the Cage have done some nice tease play.
A babe just dancing in the cage, without the above effects is just NEUTRAL- I.E not Erotic-and that type of clip, if done too much, creates a huge Boredom factor where the Cage is concerned.

My desires are well into the faked but Hard S& M realm too but I know that's not where Totem (& many of you) are at, so like anal lingus I don't hope for that Evolution anytime soon.

Keep the cage clips in the restraint, capture, really horny realm for best use of the cage and only use it when girls are willing & able to do that well!
This way it doesn't become an overused bad cliche' like those bath & shower vids became.
