WHY!!!!!!


So now i know this is the issue!! Why would you take away detail from the shows and make them blurry and smoothened!

If you look at my screen shots you will see that this not only takes the detail away from the edges where it merges into the background but also other areas like in Kathy roar for example where the bikini ends and her skin starts or like the edges of her nose or eyes.. all blurred cos of this filter!

Please whoever made this decision stop doing it and if possible release these cards without the softening filter.... PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

You can see how in Kathy Roar the skin looks smoothened lacking detail.

And if you look at the edges of the skin against the background they are blurry and smooth not sharp and detailed like Kathy Moore.

Why are newer cards worse than older ones (even the ones made after the ones that had lighting issues)

I know it depends on how pedantic people are with the quality.

But for me even I find the older shows so much sharper! Like Kathy Moore - solo

So here is a comparison between - Kathy Moore - Solo & Kathy - Roar

I have both at 100% zoom and my screen resolution is 1360x768

Keep in mind that the Kathy - Roar shows are in 1080p and Kathy Moore is 720p

The fact that they both look same size is a whole other annoying issue cos the newer shows are smaller in size at 100% compared to older shows.

So if I did a comparison between both shows at 720p & 100% zoom Kathy Roar would look even worse as it would be smaller size... This is really annoying as well. I will post that comparison later..

I bought a new PC and i'm installing VGHD here. The software says i'm logged in on some random name like "v1987564". I bought over 10 cards but i can't sync them and download them, because i can't seem to log in with my real account on the software. How do i solve this?

The X-rated level has been created (obviously) for DeskBabes.
We are not asking VirtuaGirl strippers to do any X-rated clips, but sometimes it happens has we go close to that limit. When it happen, we can either fade out, but it has been perceived very negativly, as censoship, by members in the past. We rather chose to X-rate the clips that are going a bit too far, so each member has the possibility to filter it.

We're always working hard to increase quality and user satisfaction, it's good to hear some kind words about it. Thank you :)

The only exception is when a challenger is picked more than 12 hours after the last challenge time ended (12:00), in which case the next challenge runs 1 extra day 'till 12:00.

@laotahn: I understand your point, however, everyone all over the world gets 24 hours in which to vote in, the only difference is that for some the starting time is when they're *****. In my case the starting time is when I'm at work, so usually I can't/won't vote at 12:00 paris time either.

Sorry about that. I am familiar with Paris time because I travel a lot. I thought I started the voting within the 12-12 time limit, but it is midterms so I'm over tired. If I'm correct, is there a limit to the number of girls a challenger can go up against in a day?

For those of us in the United States, waiting until the 12:00 paris start means some of us have to wait to post our votes until 4:00 AM (Pacific Time). I know you're trying to keep everyone on the same page, but that's a little rough for the Americans.

No update today. Is it a holiday in Europe? That's been the reason for missed updates in the past.

• I agree, new edge softening is taking away that "life like" quality from the cards.
• This is the "best" and "unique" thing about VGHD.
• The reason I fell in love with VGHD because it "feels" like a hologram; model is actually there in front of you.
• I watched card a1367 over and over, it seems/feels like recorded from far and zoomed-in and then transferred in 1080P format. (this is what I do with my youtube videos)

Now, I am afraid to buy cards whether they meet that sharp/clear/hd and most importantly 'life like' quality.






It defiantly looks clear on your screenshot however it looks different on my screen.

I test on a laptop with 1280w x 800h resolution 12.9"w x 8.25"h
and a dot pitch of .01" or 100 pixels per inch density

on my desktop my screen is 1680w x 1050h resolution 18.5"w x 11.5"h
it has a dot pitch 0f .011" or 90 pixels per inch density

from the two screen captures of a1367 1080p and a1282 720p
(on my laptop)
the a1367 looks better in my opinion.

I want to congratulate Totem crew for this original idea and constant improvements they made here. VG is a kind of lifestyle, I´m happy to be one of his members.

I just thought I'd post this
Totem has created 2189 cards so far for all current products combined.
VirtuaGirl, DeskBabes, Classics, and VirtuaGuy

Out of the 2189 cards that have been reviewed by QA
I counted only 38 cards that had noticeable focus issues, as reported by testing.
about 12 of these cards were due to Actual Video Camera Focus / Technical issues,
The balance were related to encoding / bitrate settings.

So it is a very small percentage of cards.
It has not been and is not an ongoing issue
that we see in QA. Aside from the time period when the lighting and camera issues were present.
This was two weeks worth of shooting, but that is over..

Card a1367 went through QA 30 days ago.
Not one QA Tester reported any focus issues.
Maybe you are not liking the edge softening filter used in the encoder.

When an Image is CUT from the background, the edges can be stair stepped or jagged.
an edge softening filter is applied to reduce these jagged edges.

I re-downloaded a1367 from the US data center.
I do not see any focus issues with that card.

Please continue to report any issues that you find so we can look into them.

Totem would have to offer this as a separate product just like VirtuaGuy
But since VirtuaGuy did not have good success
I'm not sure that this offering would do any better.

I personally would not support it or want it.

as a MOD / QA member, if Totem ventured to try this as an alternate product I would consider assisting with the testing of cards.
not something I would enjoy doing however.
