I am very pleased with this new "French Revolution" with all these hot French girls, the Hungarian invasion on VG and now all these new Russian girls. My pleas for diversity were finally answered. I'm looking forward to add these cards to my collection. Thanks Virtuagirl/Deskbabes!

@MattBFreq3: I understand your *****, but the rules from page 1 are outdated.
Here's the rules as they are at the moment:

Rules of the vghd ladder competition
1 A ladder is formed by girls challenging each other daily from 12:00 to 12:00 Paris (lunch)time.
1a The maximum number of girls on the ladder is 50. If a new challenger challenges position number 50 and loses, she is assumed to have fallen off the ladder and can’t return on it.
2a Votes can be posted for either one of the two girls that are challenging each other. A person can only cast 1 vote per challenge. Votes should be posted specifically mentioning the girl voted for ánd the new score in the current challenge for both girls, like so:

“I Vote for
x votes
y votes”
2b If a person doesn’t state the girl he/she votes for ánd doesn’t update the score so that it’s clear who gets the vote, the vote does not count.

3 A challenge ends when 10 votes are cast for a girl ór the challenge reaches the allotted end-time, which is 12:00 Paris (lunch)time.
3a An exception to the 10-vote win is a challenge started by a girl who's already on the ladder, she only needs 5 votes in her first challenge. The person who proposed this challenger is automatically assumed to have voted for that girl at the start of this particular race-to-5 challenge. If the challenger wins she needs the regular 10 in each next challenge of her winning streak. BUT if she loses this first challenge (race to 5) she drops 10 spots on the ladder! If she’s on position 41 and down she drops to the bottom of the ladder.
3b An exception to the 12:00 to 12:00 Paris time challenge duration is when a new challenger is picked more than 12 hours after the previous challenge time ended (so after 00:00 Paris time) ánd the challenge is not won at 12:00 Paris time (the normal end time), in which case the challenge runs for another day until 12:00 Paris (lunch)time.

4 If the challenger wins, she automatically challenges the next higher girl.
If the challenger loses (the other girl has more or equal votes), the last person to legally vote picks a new challenger. He/she will still have to vote during the new challenge.
4a A challenger that is already on the ladder can be chosen to challenge the girl that is 1 position higher on the ladder (see also rule 3a).
4b A challenger who is not already on the ladder will challenge the girl on the lowest position of the ladder.
4c If the last person that cast a legal vote fails to propose a challenger within 1 day (ie 12:00 Paris time after the last challenge), one is picked by member84392371 or JayZ971.

5a If a girl loses a challenge with 0 votes she falls off the ladder for good!
5b A girl that was kicked off the ladder cannot return on it (at the time of writing this version of the rules this regards Mirka, Jennifer Galbina, Samantha Lee, Bella & Melissa K)

6 In case of doubt about voting, the ladder, who gets to pick a challenger, who won a challenge etc., member84392371 decides.
The rules can be adjusted/changed if needed by member84392371 by himself or through discussion/suggestions in the thread.

I think you both mis-understood the OP's request..

Same Computer, Not Laptop and / Or Desk top..

Laptop - Full collection on Ext drive.
Same Laptop - partial collection on Local Drive, When External Drive is NOT connected.

You can not use the GUI to move the storage location,
as Alerte points out.
It will try to MOVE all the folders. That's not what is wanted.

Junctions could be a possible solution But a lot of work Not required.

A script from Alerte, can work, But All that Is needed is a Simpe Change to the Registry's
Models Path.

Use one Path setting when Ext Hdd is connected.
Use a Different path when No Ext Hdd is Connected.

my method of Exporting the Totem registry, and editing the file so it only contains the Models Path, is an Easy way to make two simple clickable Desktop Icons.

If you know what your doing, you can Just export the Totem System Branch.
That will save a lot of editing to trim ot down to just the Models path.

But I read the rules from page 1 and it says 2 days! I was busy all of Saturday & didn't get a chance to vote so thought with the 2 day rule I would be okay.

I know its only a voting thread with not any great importance but surely its not very fair if both girls are denied a chance to get to that final 10 votes. It could have gone the other way with Blue Angel winning if the 2 day rule had stayed and the girls allowed to get to 10, then again Nikki could have still won. You don't actually know until someone reaches that target & that's what makes it fun I think :-)

Surely we should still be voting for Nikky Case & Blue Angel as the voting for this round opened only yesterday. I thought you had to wait 2 days without any votes before the girl with the highest number of votes wins!?

the script look this, is not again finish but for information, i post where i am.


in the file collection.txt you place 4 lignes, that your work after have placed your two collection, you placed 2 first lignes for the laptop localisation and the 2 last lignes for the external drive localisation.

in the folder PRG, i place one system program for ***** to quit VG.

you must also have two Data folder, one for the laptop and one for the hardrive externe, i imagine you can in this condition, i made several test and give the result.

my idea are then to creat two data folder and with one script use the data folder i want. and this data folder correspond with him Models folder.

here one exemple of name folder you can use

C:/Vir/VGHD/Datalaptop for C:/Vir/VGHD/Models
C:/Vir/VGHD/Dataextern for D:/Vir/VGHD/Models of course D letter are a exemple

in this condition we only need to change 2 values and then we can have two collection totaly different.

Using just the GUI = VG Software Graphical User Interface
NO it is not possible to Split your Collection Between more than One Storage Folder.

It is possible to Change the Location using the GUI, on the Settings / Advance Screen.



There is a another way to do it.
but it requires technical computer experience.

Warning do not attempt this if you are not sure of what to do....

With your EXT hard Drive Connected, and Totem Working..
UnCheck all of the Automatic downloads boxes
UnCheck the Download after quit.
Quit VG

Open registry editor.
Locate the totem registry Branch.
Export it to a file.
It's just a text file when saved.
Edit the file, and remove everything Except the FIle Paths.
Save this as VG-EXT.reg

Now make the New Local Folder
Copy the cards / Duplicates you want to that folder.

Go Back and Edit the VG-EXT.reg file
Change the Models path to match the Local Folder location.
Save this as VG-Local.reg

So now you have to registry files.
Each one only contains the Totem branch Path entries
One has the Path to the External folder
On has the path to the Local folder.

To Update the Registry, all you have to do Is double click
on one of these files.
It will then make the changes to the path.

So if the Ext HD is connected.
Double click on VG-EXT.reg
ok the prompts
Start VG

If the External HD is NOT connected
Double click on VG-Local.reg
ok the Prompts
Start VG

Note: You may have to do a Rebuild All each time..
but that's just because One time you have all the cards, and then you only have a few..

Again, this is not supported by the software.
you are altering the registry each time you do this.
DO NOT attempt this if you don't know what your doing..
Totem is not responsible for any mistakes you might make.

I ask this as i have all of my VirtuaGirl data on my external harddrive as i need all of my laptops memory for work, games etc, I was just wondering is it possible to have most of my cards on my external hard drive and a few cards/duplicates on my laptop memory for when i do not have my hard drive?

1435 - Katy Angel: Mojito was only released in 720p and unsharp due to technical problems like Totem informed us.
Think this one should not be compared to others because it's not a regular production.

If Kami is closer to the agreed upon standard (thank you for pointing that out, Oquijan), then let's overlay her card #709 Peppermint (my personal fave out of her cards) over the Melisa image from before. Looking at the result, I think my premise still holds. The more recent cards seem both blurrier and smaller than Kami's.
