I agree with everything you just said. However, the alternative is the current very slow pace not an end to remastering.

Well, I prefer to pay a small sum, micro transaction if you will, rather than not have any new cards remastered.

And I suggested this previously.

To bad that the database doesn't support it.

This has not been tried as far as I know, so I do not think anyone knows how the members would react.

Many of the older cards are among the best, in my humble opinion, and I wish that there was some way to increase the current tempo of remastering them.

Continuing the musician scenes. This time to revisit Drums, however with a difference.
Eight frames were used in cycling twice by pingpong fashion instead of 15 different frames.
This way smooth continuity was maintained without the jerkiness of using non contiguous end frames.
All types of music were useable provided that frames were a natural progression, compatible with
the original 30fps record movement rate. The card micro-sampled is ' Mary Blond ~ Enthusiastic'.

I think it would be a good idea to charge a couple of credits for us to upgrade a card to greater quality. Then the the number of cards updated might increase.

I made a similar suggestion more than a year ago. I suggest that Totem should charge half the difference in price between then old resolution and the new one. The real problem is that Totem's sales system doesn't seem to be able to support this.

If someone doesn't want the better quality, they pay nothing and don't download it. Right now Totem's only source of income for remastered cards is customers who don't already own the card because of low quality. By charging for the improved resolution, Totem would get some additional income from people who already own the card but don't play it because of low resolution. I'm one of them.

The big problem is that the current system, the iStripper UI, the web site, and Totem's database don't support this. They might have decided that the cost of changing the software exceeds the possible profit.

Other PSVR option...

The PS4 comes with a Media Player from Sony.
on the USB stick, Make a Root SubFolder and Call it VIDEO
Then save your VR180 clips in the VIDEO SubFolder ( other sub folders can be made inside that one )

You CAN then play the VR180 clips using it with one ***** issue..

think of VR as being inside a house with 4 walls... ( a floor and Ceiling too )
a North Wall in front of you.
a West Wall to the Left
an East wall to the Right
and a South Wall behind you.

Media Player has a VR icon.
so you open the VR180 clip from the USB stick
It starts to Play with Dual Side by Side views on a Flat Screen.
Click on the VR icon, and it switches to 3D 360 mode.

But It puts you Looking at the North Wall, and the Dancer is really on the West Wall side.
What do you Do?

Turn your Head to the Left so you can See her.
Then LONG press the Option Button on the Controller to Reset your View.

Since these are only 180VR, it is Mirrored Behind you as well...
She is Also Dancing on the East Wall, which is now Behind you.

Enjoy, without Having to Pay that LittlStar Sideload Fee.
If you Don't mind a few extra Steps.

The VR shows are a Purchase and do Show in your purchase History.
They do not count towards your Card Collection Level Status.

You are Correct, a Large Percentage of the Population can't see in Stereo vision.
The VR shows are worth enjoying even in Mono Vision using the GoPro Viewer.

As I understand, VR videos and cards are two different things and only the cards have the ability to increase the collection and make the status involve to higher level (the top being Triple Diamonds).
But I can be wrong, a team member should say more about that.

Could be interesting to those fortunate enough to be able use the VR technology. And I am not referring to VR headsets, but to the user's actual vision. I am able to see with one eye only, so any virtual actually being there experience will be lost on me. Not a really big issue.

Now my real question is are these VR shows part of the user's collection? Does buying a VR show get me one show closer to 3 diamond status, and if it does, do the 'whales' have to buy every VR show to maintain their own complete collections?

Got the PSVR versioon 2, been debating to get one, these clips did the trick 😉
Only downside is paying for the sideloading option in Littlstar...

Yes, you Can Use Ctrl-A to select All, and then try to Download all...

But I highly recommend that you Do it in Small Batches of 40 to 50 cards at a time..

Maximize you View, and shrink the card size as small as you can..
you should see 40 or 50 cards on the screen..
Set the 1st Filter, Display, to Nothing Checked.
Set the 3rd Filter, Downloaded filter to only, Not Downloaded.
( only cards NOT Downloaded are Displayed. )
All other Filters everything Checked.


Hold Shift and Click the 1st Card in the top left corner, then while holding Shift
Click the card in the bottom right Corner.
This Selects all the cards on the screen.

let go of Shift and Click the Icon DOWN Arrow to Download this Batch of Selected cards.

They Will disappear from View, Because the Filter is set to Only Show the Not Downloaded Cards.

Remember to re-set your Filters when Down Downloading all of your cards.


WHY do it this way?

If there is a connection Issues...
It's a Lot Easier to Manage and Stop the Download of 40 or 50 cards, than it is to Manage 600 or 3000 cards Stuck in Download Limbo.

BTW, I keep the "released" folder current every few days, so keep that link handy and new files should appear every couple of days.

I may do single updates in this thread so that folks don't have to keep wading through the releases folder all the time as it gets bigger and bigger. I may also move some of the older 'releases' into the "Older" folder as time goes on to keep the Releases folder less cluttered.

A few other things to keep in mind:

I do these in full frontal nude as a primary but Totem doesn't always provide a pic with the correct pose so I will sometimes do a kneeling or "from the rear" pose if they appeal to me. As a last resort I will do a screen shot of a paused playing clip (like yesterday's of Ava Black) but they are of lower resolution/quality so I try to avoid those where possible.

Also, recently Totem changed the full.png to fullhd.png and the size of picture went from 900 pixels to 1500 pixels in height. I have switched to the fullhd format for my custom.png's but also still do the smaller ones for those who have not yet updated their iStripper software.

When the first Mac came out a whole set of standard global commands including A,Z,X,C,V,S,W,O,N,F were widely publicized and I learned them. Most were implemented in Windows, but with less consistency because there was so much legacy software. Now most are so taken for granted that no one bothers to tell new users about them.

A good example: I've been using Excel since it first came out in about 1985. Just last Friday I learned that it is possible to hide a tab in a multi-tab workbook. I never needed to do this and never noticed it was present on the right-click menu.

So it's been awhile since I contributed anything in this thread and I have been sitting here with nothing to do except enjoy my flu symptoms which are only very slowly going away after fighting them for over a week now...

I have finally finished all my nude carousels and will share them here for anyone one who is interested.

I will start with "Popular" and work right from there:

So the way these work is that you d/l the zip file from Google, then upzip it, then copy the individual e/f/a/cXXXX file folders from inside the unzipped folder and then paste them directly into your vghd/data folder. The png files will just integrate right into your existing data folders and the next time you restart iStripper: et-voila your "popular" carousel will be nude!

I have done all the carousels including the "releases" and keep that one current as new girls are released.

I will try to post the daily updates as new cards are released if anyone shows any interest in it.

I'm sure you're correct and like I said above I am also equally sure that I probably should have known that as well but some things just don't "stick" in the memory banks like they used to... Of course the data retrival system leaves a little to be desired anymore as well.

CTRL-A is a windows standard "select all" shortcut that works in most programs. However, developers do not seem to understand that many users do not know about this standard feature (for example my sister after 25 or so years using windows did not know about it). I have argued here that there should preferably be an obvious (to new computer users) way of selecting/deselecting all cards using a single click to accomdoate such naive users but Totem do not seem to think that this is a good idea (because it would clutter the interface)

Go to "my collection" hold the shift key and click the upper left most card. Then scroll to the bottom of your collection and while holding the shift key click the last card in the lineup. Now scroll back to the top of the screen and click the "down arrow" above the cards which should start the d/l process. Then go find something else to do for a "while" while your collection downloads....

Both folders are empty. I tried to rebuild collection as well, but that did not work.

If your data and models folders are both empty, iStripper should automatically download all your owned cards. However, you can save a lot of time and bandwidth charges if you have a back-up copy of your collection.
