Istripper launches 180° VR clips!

VR shows are very differents from Desktop shows:

  • First you need some equipment!
Not necessarily too expensive, your mobile and a simple cardboard will do the job. However, we strongly recommend you to invest in a sophisticated VR headset, like oculus or HTC vive. Not only you could see our VR videos in the best conditions, but you could also play VR games like VR Paradise (among others:)).
  • Secondly, those shows last ~10min each.
That's shorter than a traditional istripper desktop show but they are more intense and much more immersive. You feel like you are really in front of your favorite istripper girl for 10 minutes. It can even be intimidating.
  • VR shows cost 30 credits flat and we'll produce new VR shows as long as our members show interest in it.
  • Finally, VR clips won't never replace istripper desktop shows.
They're just another medium to entertain members who ask for more immersion. It's another kind of experience, a way to get the girl that you usually see stripping on your desktop, closer to you!

Dowload VR clips :
https://www.istripper.com/vr180/

Devices supported :
Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Windows Mixed reality, PSVR, Oculus go, Samsung Gear, Cardboard.

FAQ :
https://www.istripper.com/vr180/howto/

We count on you to share your thoughts about those VR 180° clips and give us idea and suggestions for our next productions.

Why would anyone even think these few new VR 180 clips would mean the end of everything else ???

Sounds VERY tempting... I currently have a PC that can easily run VR material, but I would still need to invest about $1,500 for a good quality headset (HTC Vive has received good reviews).

I will probably do that in the forthcoming months, but I would like to see first some other interesting content to justify the purchase. I haven't really "studied the subject" by now... When there are enough content available (other than just iStripper VR), I believe I'll jump the wagon.

Thanks for clarifying the offering. Please bear in mind that many of us don't yet have a headset, even though we're very interested in the product. I'll only buy a headset when there's loads of exciting content to justify it - including games other than iStripper and 3D video content from other providers. Then I'm liable to invest in the iStripper back-catalogue in one, thrilling, budget-***** blast.

So, Totem, don't get discouraged and stop doing the 3D films, even if take-up is slow (like it was with iDancer). It'll take time and the films you do now will sell eventually, once more of us have the kit. The more girls you film, the greater will be the pressure on us waverers to buy. And, strategically, Totem needs to be in the VR space with its beautiful pov content.

Also, to reduce piracy, is the content encrypted or does it include copy-identifiable watermarks? Encryption is one of the unsung heros of Totem's success and the wide range of delivery platforms makes me suspect they're just duplicable files.

....and another point on the VR product....lots of us enjoy the dance performance aspect, rather than the xxx. Please do a mix and include the pole.

If you're going to stick with this pricing (sorry but I genuinely feel it's too much) might I suggest increasing the lowest credit option from 25 to 30?

Those of us with no stereo vision will be happy for that piece of news... ;)

Get the GoPro VR Player
http://www.kolor.com/gopro-vr-player/download/

It lets you play VR-180 and VR-360 in Monocular view on your Windows PC
use you mouse to Pan around.
No 3D or Immersion, but you can still play them...

You Must install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 1st. ( or After )
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3179560/update-for-visual-c-2013-and-visual-c-redistributable-package

I've tried the GOM player - Avoid it at all costs, it hijacked my entire system, had to restore to a previous point to recover from that player. Ad ware Ad ware Ad Ware...

PS: the 1 minute Preview Videos are Free to Download and Play...
Even without a Headset, these are worth the price.

VR Porn is all the rave, the Internet is Full of it for a few years now...

I've sampled a few from other sites...

iStripper is a bit unique, in that you are watching a virtual Private lap Dance.
No Male partner involved.
So these rise to the top of the List for me...

All the other VR Porn I have sampled, it's watching "Them" get it on...

even the POV VR, still has a guy in the video...

Also, the Camera Height feels better in the iStripper VR, many of the others, Put the Camera On top of the Head level.
so you are Always looking Down....

Boob Height is about right....

Why would anyone even think these few new VR 180 clips would mean the end of everything else ???

It's very easy to get caught in the tide of enthusiasm and think that the popular majority knows the direction...

Reminds me of the cage and how it started to dominate every single show, regardless of how well it fitted.
It is refreshing at times to see something popular being cautiously introduced and and not injected into everything all at once. :)

Edit; On a randomly triggered side note; I wonder how the cage and swing would look in 180? ;)

Thanks @Wyld for the advice about the GoPro VR Player! For me the link you provided did not work but I was able to find the software and download it and now I can watch the previews in my browser. Also I appreciate your advice about 1080p. On my system 1920p had a chunky, jerky playback but 1440p plays back crystal clear. It is amazing to get a better idea of this technology. Again thank you!

You exagerate. There are 157 cards tagged as being "cage", 27 in the C (deskbabes) series the rest in the A (VirtuaGirlHD) series. Their ids being in the two ranges c0420 to c0603.

So in the period that cage cards were profuced a total of 185 C series and 371 A series cards were made. The cage cards therefore comprised 28% of the cards during this time. Hardly dominating every single show even if you ignore the fact that the majority of clips in a "cage" card were non-cage clips.

OK guys, I'm not going to lie. I finally got around to trying the VR videos last night, and I have to say I was kind of disappointed with the overall experience.

First, the content. The lighting is terrible and not colour balanced (unless you were going for "warm" lighting in every video?). The girls don't really "tease", they just get into the action.

And lastly, the external player makes the whole thing a terrible, janky experience. Don't get me wrong, I like DeoVR, but the native experience in other platforms is way better.

Best one I've seen yet is Play'A from VRBangerz. They also have a lot of content, and great variety too. Their lighting and camera work is also more advanced.

Please, I don't say this to be negative - just being honest that while I think the VR content is a great step forward, it still has a way to go yet.

So, I'd recommend:
  • Play the content native in the iStripper software
  • Improve the scripting / content
  • Improve the lighting and camera work
  • Keep adding more content
  • Don't make me leave VR to select new content - make a VR browser inside the app

I know this is the start of the journey - so I'm sure you guys will nail it over time ... but right now, it needs quite a bit of work.

Keep improving it guys.

The Google Cardboard, for me, is a rendered mess. Just a bunch of lines moving... The Oculus @1440p works near perfect! I get an idea of what Li Moon in cyberspace must look like... you lucky, lucky... :)

I'll wait... for my direct jack plugs and my braindance! :)

@jimbobrox: Hope the following information is helpful:
  • Get yourself a copy of Kino VR, Trinus or Vridge - you need to install on both your iPhone and your PC. Cost is about $15-20
  • Get yourself a Cardboard headset - these can be bought on eBay for $10-20

When you purchase the software above, you'll get instructions on how to set it all up.

As long as you don't need motion controllers, you should be able to access quite a bit of VR content on Steam and in other places - including iStripper and VR Paradise.

Good luck!

@wtprivate is there a differnent device other than cardboard? I've heard they don't hold up too long and often don't stay on very well.

Would any iphone compatible option work? As in, is it more about the hardware or the software?

When I say "Cardboard" I actually mean cardboard compatible. Not literally made of cardboard.

You can get plastic headsets from eBay. They are definitely not as comfortable as a $400 headset, but then again, you're not paying $400 either. :)

As with most things, the more you spend, the higher the quality (generally), but your mileage may vary depending on the eBay vendor. Check the ratings.

The headset itself just holds the phone in place. Using the software is what makes it "work" like a VR headset. The only caution I can offer is that if you have a larger iPhone (like a Plus), be sure to check the size specifications of the eBay headset, as you might end up with one that won't hold your phone.

Good luck!

@wtprivate awesome, that's what I needed to know. I also realize that there are kinda two version of "VR". One being more immersive where you can move around in the space and one where you can really just look and have a wider field of view. This second one seems to be what iStripper is as well as the various bits of VR porn that I've seen around. I don't game so this is about all I want anyway!

Thanks!

Hi @kaiju !

This is a very good news but could it be possible to have "lighter" re-encoded files in the Google Cardboard section?

Something like 1080p at 50 FPS using MPEG4 codec and with only stereo audio?

This should possibly run on medium/high-end range of low-cost brands.

I can successfully watch such VR movies from other resellers and to be honest the quality is more than enough if you use a "Cardboard device" with plastic lenses. Actually I use a more comfortable headset but still you have to adjust the phone into it and the plastic lenses to have correct focus... so you see this is not Bluray-3D quality 😋

Hope to have good news like that to enlarge the potential audience.

Thanks a lot!

Joined the forum to say the clips are fantastic. I love VR and istripper does a better job than most of the more established VR studios out there - very good camera and quality, lighting perfect and rendered well. Will be buying all of the VR scenes in the future - please keep them coming!! If 6k will be even better!
