Would it be possible to change the each tag into a hyperlink to a forum discussion topic where similar, historical cards could be suggested and discussed by existing users? Totem would not have to take time reclassifying existing shows, and interested users could signpost likeminded individuals to relevant shows?

One suggestion - when you go to the buy credits screen, check which billing company it is going to.

It defaults to NetBilling - who do not use PayPal.

You need to change it to Epoch - they are the company who use PayPal.

I, for one, appreciate the effort put into hiring better dancers and introducing the cards' content by putting in more variety (milk shows, hardcore shows like Gia's, dancing shows). This is defeintely the way to go.

Reading this thread makes me think how lucky I am to not have fetishes with costume such as high heels, stockings, bare feet etc...

Pretty much my only interest is in the model. If I were more discerning buyer and If she is someone I like, I buy her card. And I don't give a rat's ass if she is wearing high heels or not, if she's wearing stockings or not, or if she is bare feet or not. It's the lady I concentrate on, not what she has on her feet or what she is wearing on her legs... She could wear Margaret Thatcher's jacket suit or Hannibal Lecter's face mask, I don't care.

People, concentarate on what is important! The lady performing for you? - OR the textile on her legs or the equipment on her feet :)

"Insignificant costume detail or performance skill" is the tag what you people are looking for. Every card has one. :)

As a thought experiment consider what it would be like if the High Heels tag did not exist. In my collection there are 3924 of with this tag but if was a new one they would not appear when applying the High Heels filter. With just over 365 cards issued a year it would take well over ten years before filtering for High Heels would find more than half of the cards that it ought to. This logic applies equally to any new tag that is only applied to new cards but which ought to be used for old cards as well.

Any new user, such as yourself, coming to iStripper is likely to use the category filters to find cards that they like - if they only find a fraction of what is actually there they will get a very wrong impression as to what is in the store. Being misleading is not good for anybody,

I like new tags, if they help to describe the cards.
Of course the best would be if the old cards are updated with new tags, too. But even if that's too much work, it still would improve the description of future cards. As they might not serve well as filter for old cards, maybe it's possible to mark the original tags somehow.

And another statistic - of the 28 shows noted above, 16 are XXX. Just sayin' ...

Of course, the girls released in January 2019 have the advantage over the girls released in December 2019 simply because they were on the market so much longer. Yeesh, Stella Cardo was released on December 30 (!!) and she still made the list. That fact is almost as impressive as her breasts!

Still I'm glad my personal favourite Vanessa Decker ❤️❤️❤️has one of her shows as number two on the list.

This has been suggested before, and I think it is a good idea IF we presume that people do give honest votes. I am a bit skeptic about that.

It seems to me that many voters use the voting system to "make a point". If they dislike one particular model, they will rate it zero or one despite the quality of the show/dance/outfit. If they dislike some aspect of the performance, they will vote zero or one despite the sexiness of the model. If they DO like some particular model, they will vote 5 stars no matter how ***** the show is... etc. etc. You get the point...

Dividing the points into specific areas as you suggest would give excellent tool for honest voters, but I'm afraid the "making a point"-voters would simply give zero or one / five stars to all of the categories based on their agenda...

Yes - I really do mean that new tags that result in any filter using those tags gives very misleading results (e.g. more false negatives than true positives) should preferably not be introduced until effort is spent to reduce the false results to a reasonable level. Currently filtering on pole skills misses more than it finds - in fact it misses the two or three best pole dancers in the whole collection. Fortunately this particular tag can be relatively easily fixed because there are only a small number of old cards that should have the tag applied and in the past there have been rather a lot of people asking for recommendations for cards in which good pole dancing skills are exhibited - to which there have been a consistent set of replies which in turn means that Totem could relatively easily find these posts, or ask again for recommendations, and then update the old cards' tags.

However, for most of the tags that have been suggested, such as "upskirt" this does not apply and without spending an enormous effort up-front it would take many years before filtering on such a tag would return more than a minority of cards that ought to match the filter. Not only would this be misleading it would also be very frustrating if you know that there are cards matching the filter (because you have previously seen them) but are told that they can't be found. Think how you would feel if you remember seeing a great pole dancer (Susie Q or Shaba) but can't remember who it was, used the pole dance skills filter and discovered that what you remember was not found.

Adding misleading tags and their filters is, in my mind, a disservice to Totem's customers.

I suggest Totem had better cancel these 3 new tags --- flexible, pro dancer, pole dance skills

1. how to define the types or levels ?

e.g. Linet A & Jasmine Arabia are very good at belly dancing which is unpopular here. Do they still deserve to be called pro dancers ?

2. how to list ? by girls or by cards ?

e.g. Blue Angel & Merry Pie are unquestionably flexible, but didn't show their paces in every cards.

3. inefficient to regulate categories ?

e.g. Angelika Grays & Valeria are incontestably top 5 dancers. Unfortunately, I see none of the 3 new tags in their cards. Not to mention the thread " incorrect or missing tags ".

In my opinion, creating the 3 new tags is like opening a can of worms.

So the 32 Bit App Memory limit really doesn't become an Issue till you start to play More then 5 4K sized clips at a time.

There certainly are a lot of things to consider.

What I can add for completness sake:

• Streaming is disabled
• the model clips are located on the NAS so both laptop and pc can access
• the laptop has a native resolution of 3200 x 1800 but is attached to an external 4k display
• I created a lot of custom Fullscreen scenes that use 3-4 duplicates of the model to "simulate" shadows and reflections in combination with masks

The point I tried to make:

Some customers may have some non standard setups.
With a 64 bit version of the app they probably would not experience any slowdowns.
With a 32 bit version of the app there are limits what can be done without running into limitations.

Because the July pre-order was in July....seven months ago. The advent calendar was just last month.

All cards get discounted eventually. It is my opinion that Totem is trying to avoid discounting cards that were offered in a VERY RECENT "promotion" that did not involve a discount.

And thanks to @SetFuego and @The Emu for the heads up on Suzie Q and the others. I have recently started to appreciate good pole dancing and I have now downloaded Suzie Q and she is superb (though the boots are *****!!!).

There aren't too many clips where the girl starts off upside down!

The "Pole Dance Skills" tag is currently a good example of why I think that Totem should not introduce new tags without applying these tags to older cards. If I filter my collection using this tag it shows me only 12 cards rather recent cards from just three models but does not show me any older cards from Susie Q, Shaba, Goldie, Foxy or any other model that exhibited such skills.

As @SetFuego has alluded to his post Suzie Q was the winner of the Australian Pole Dancing championship and Shaba was, and still is, a professional pole dancer. In both cases this skill plays a major part in their cards - yet none of those cards have the "Pole Dance Skills" tag.

I would rather not have the tag at all than have it be this misleading.

And since then nobody 'flexible' until Anastasia Brokelyn in 11/2019 ...

Um, I'm still a little careful with these 'new' tags. For example, 'flexible' ... Melena Maria Rya also received this label on her 'Blue Dreams' card from 12/2014.

... pretty unrealistic. And what does 'flexible' mean in detail? I would rather wait a few more years until I really trust these 'new' tags.

Anyone notice the new model tags? They are called Pro dancer, pole dance skills and flexible. Some of the new girls have them, and you can really see how much better they are than the average model when it comes to dancing or pole-dancing. One of the new girls, I forgot her name but seems like she is not an erotic model but Totem hired her because she's a good dancer and very pretty. I love that. I don't care how famous the model is, but when she's a good dancer and stripper it always makes the show better. I like where iStripper is going <3

The advent calendar is different. It's the only "promotion" I can think of where the shows are not discounted and there is no choice.

As you stated, shows are full price "at some point" (the advent calendar was not at some point..it was just last month) and then discounted. But in all those cases, members had to choose to buy that particular show at full price...they had a choice; no choice in the advent calendar.

Those are the reasons I never buy the advent calendar.

For @jackomotto I think Kristina and Valeria do 180 splits on the pole and two excellent pole artists are Goldie and Angelika Grays. Maya Mai also did some good pole work in Back to School. I also thought it was Kristina who had done the cartwheel but I am not sure.

I think I might have seen a girl on my collection do a cartwheel, I saw maria rya do some weird flexible positions, The way Mia Malkova does full Splits and starts flirtin, some awesome pole moves like upside down spins or something... Just looking to take advantage of this exellent offer, unfortunately most of the shows I want were released in December 2019 and are not subject to the 20% discount, as the offer states all 2019 shows are 20% off is this an omission on Totems part and will it be rectified shortly? Had a quick look at 2019 shows and I would say that at least 95% have not had the discount applied.
