We had to change the organisation of the production for DB a while ago because we were loosing money on DB cards.

When filming solo, we're flying one girl to Paris, pay for one taxi back and forth, two nights at the gotel, two lunchs and diner plus the girl's fee and two studio days to produce 6 cards.

When filming duo, we're flying four girls to Paris, pay for two taxi back and forth, four nights at the hotel, four lunchs and diner plus four girls fees and three studio days to produce 9 cards.

The cost of production of duo cards is over twice as much as solo cards but we were selling them for the same price and (forunknown reasons) we sell less of them.

One option was to double the prices on duos, the other one we chose so far was to keep it to solos, which we did so far.

I'm interested in knowing your opinion about it.

I fully agree that it would be nice if it was possible to request, e.g. by a keypress, that at least the .scn filename is displayed when a fullscreen scene is playing and to then optionaly ask for more detailed information such as the names of the currently active clips and texture files and even the values of any uniforms that have been defined in the .scn file. Even better would be some way to tweak the values of the uniforms. These are among the list of the things that I want to think about before making any suggestions to Totem for future improvements

With respect to GlslSandbox - Unknown - e#22678.2.fsh, it should be a simple matter to incorporate a data panel for the uniforms you are interrested in as long as they are all integers. I do not have time to look at it just now but you ought to be able to manage it yourself. One of the things I want to look at over the weekend is to add the ability to display floating point values and then to package it up as something that can be inserted into any fragment shader, mainly for debugging but also, as is the case with the Complex Functions shader, to display information that is of use to the ordinary user.

thanks lots for the bug-fix in Tunnel A shader and especially the new Function id panel for complex functions.
I'm hoping it will be possible one day to adapt such a panel to monitoring a currently playing SCN file's details (even if could just show the current SCN file name's ending characters) while a name-tree is playing in fullscreen, . In Milkdrop2 we always had ready access to fps, filename playing, even editing etc. without having to leave fullscreen. I really miss that !

I'm presently running around 30 copies of SCNs in their own name-tree group for GlslSandbox - Unknown - e#22678.2.fsh, all with different name endings corresponding to the FuncA,FuncB & FuncC uniform settings & it would be magic to have the option to see them and their MaxIter settings 'live' during fullscreen, so to speak.

what i am missing is the anal action. No anal for months then one anal, now back to no anal. I have 48 credits and nothing to spend it on. It's getting to the point where i am seriously considering getting my money back for those credits.

Looking forward to duo card/s making an appearance again as well ...

I have fixed a bug in my Tunnel A shader, added new functionality to my Complex Functions shader (with example scenes using them) and added a few extra Tunnel scenes.

The bug fix to the Tunnel A shader corrects the tile ***** logic when tileScheme is greater than 199.

The Complex Functions shader now has 99 basic functions to choose from, but each of these can be used in 16 "modes", f(z), f(1/z), f(log(z)), 1/f(z) etc. This is controlled by the new uniform FunctionMode. See the comments in the shader code for details.

The Complex Function shader now also allows you to iterate functions, i.e. you can use f(z), f(f(z)), f(f(f(z))) etc. This is controlled by the new uniforms MinIterate, MaxIterate and FunctionMode. See the comments in the shader code for details.

The Complex Function shader now optionally will generate a panel in the bottom right of the window which displays the current function id and other information. This is controlled by the new uniform DataPannel. See the comments in the shader code for details.

I have provided a lot of new Experiments with Complex Functions scenes to show the effects of the new options. As a result the old "A" series od scenes have been renamed to "A00" (for FunctionMode 0) and these are accompanied by *****, series for FunctionMode values from 01 to 16 and Enn and Fnn series for iterated functions. There are now so many .scn files that it is a problem to have them all known to VGHD so I have put the majority of them in a subdirectory, Additional Scenes, so that VGHD will not see them. They can be moved up to the main Complex Functions directory if you want to see any of them - but don't have too many in the main directory at any time.

I have updated the copies of the Complex Function and Tunnel A shaders used in the Transmats and Tunnels scenes and have provided a few more Tunnels scenes using other simple shaders to generate the walls.

The only change to the Transmats is to use the Tunnel A shader with the bug fix.

P.S. I have just realised that I have misspelled panel in DataPannel. I will correct this later today and upload the corrected files.

UPDATE: I was able to do the correction refered to above and get it uploaded rather quicker than I thought and at the same time corrected an error in many of the new Complex Shader .scn files that had been introduced by a mass edit done yesterday. If you did take the zips ealier today then please take them again.

I really don't want to stir up any hornets nests but here're my latest observations after reading the whole thread again. (If anybody really cares :/ )...

Not that it really matters now, but the member level changes last year were as follows:

(I won't bother with all of the discounts and freebies at each level)

Bronze : Buying first show.
Silver: When you have 10 cards
Gold: When you have 40 cards
Platinum: When you have 100 cards. (This unlocks the clip selector and gives you access to 'Platinum Only' section).

Now, previously, we hit VIP level at 300 cards. There was no other higher level before early last year. This got you the FREE VIP card chosen by Totem, once per month and access to other restricted parts of the forum :)

Then, if memory serves, I think it was around May or June last year, Totem made the big changes to discounts and VIP was split into the current 3 Diamond Levels. ( 300 cards, 750, 1500)

All of the lower levels have been the same since I joined VG.

I've been a member since October 2010 but only became active in the forum at the beginning of last year ;)

All of this is history now but that's how the levels are/were.

I hope you stuck around and had a look at the members' clip managers and this gave you enough patience to keep going till you hit the next level or two! You've bought 43 cards to date but said you had 75 credits total to get rid of. You're getting 20% off the full price of cards now and that will change to 30% at Platinum Level. Being aware that there needs to be a difference between VG and DB I'd say: the difference doesn't have to be the lack of standing clips :) Yes, please bring them back!

It's not the volume that matters.. I can adjust that seperately..
The thing with this moaning is,
It sounds often too fake or terribly overdubbed. I rather have it be natural as can be!
Also the dirty "sex" talk doesn't fit right, I love that too but in most cases they are very bad in english..
Native language makes it more natural and probably a whole lot more comfortable for all parties involved.

I have thought this for a long time and hoped that Totem themselves would criticaly review appraise their own output and notice it without being prompted by the user base.

Me too, standing in DB should return, now the duo's seem to have dried up I am struggling to find sufficient reason to buy new cards for DB as they are all becoming the same format and starting to get a bit boring in comparison to VG :-(

I also agree would love to see standing clips come back for DB, I'm sure it would encourage me to buy more DB cards.

I'm also a big fan of the standing clibs in DB. Eufrat standing up and playing with a dildo through her panties is one of the sexiest things you'll ever be lucky enough to see.

This feature has been available since around October last year, when 3K cards were thrust upon us! Moving a girl across your screen should be done in a slightly upwardly curving arc, then release. The 'Magic' then kicks in.

Moving a 3K clip to the top of the screen will make her grab a zipline bar and hang there for a few seconds before dropping into another 'Magic' clip, changing the clip.

Dropping a girl off your taskbar is probably one of the best features of the small size program. It allows you to quickly scan thru your activated girls without having to stop and scan your collection. I agree. A pretty cool feature! :D

Are you aware that the earlier DB cards all have standing scenes in them? I see you that you are a triple diamond member, so I realise you may already be aware.

For the record, I agree with you. Some of the standing clips on the earlier cards were really good. As you said, it's nice to see the whole of the model's body and the standing clips gave good variety.

I have to admit, I don't get this pole. If you don't like moaning, you can switch the sound off. If it is too loud, you can lower the volume on your PC.

I am not sure what less moaning actually means. And if there is less moaning, what would you replace it with. Or would you replace it with silence? Which leads us to my suggestion in the first paragraph.

Please note that I am not trying to be cheeky or funny. I actually think that your post could be an interesting point of discussion.

For me, there are some moaning clips I like and some that I don't. However, I am sure that is mostly a matter of personal taste rather than a reflexion of a general view.

My biggest bug bear is not moaning, which sometimes I like. The thing that irritates me the most is sex-talk. The worst occurs where models give really bad sex talk in English, even though they can hardly speak the language. It just sounds so fake. For that reason I prefer models to give sex talk in their mother tongue, or at least a language they can speak fluently.

In in some cases, the models do now speak in their mother tongue, which is great. A woman speaking about sex in a language she feels comfortable with will always feel more genuine, and in the cases I don't understand what she's saying, that's often the best situation.

Ahh to me it feels like a nice change. Granted I have many older cards, but just to see someone thinking outside the box. You don't see a photographer doing that all the time.

So I was watching a new Melisa card, and I needed to move her, all of a sudden, I noticed the animation changed when I moved here. I must say this is rather cool. The only issue I have is that when I move completely horizontal I end up having her leave as she was over the edge of the task bar

(also would love an option that would have the show just pick back up where it left off).

I`m glad that Totem Team knew to choose those outfits for her (or she chose them herself) , BUT I didn`t understand and I never will why such a sexy girl like Kitty Jane with a good performance( she has 9.33 and 9.36 rate) has ONLY 2 cards on VG and too less DB cards,too.

I would apreciate if REX (or somebody else who knows) will come with one explanation (reason) why they produced or released only 2 VG cards with her( sorry IF the reason was explained long time ago,but it seems I missed it or I don`t remember it :))))).
I would like to see her again with a new set of cards in 3 K resolution and because especially that she has only 2 VG cards, IF it`s possible (if she`s not retired or if she`s still looking good)

Sure. There has to be an optimum of settings for the shader and maxIter's ie: between the shader color values and uniform iterations allowed. Everyone will want more or less yellow in the torus also..just about every other value setting i played with in the shader affected iterations (detail of render) somehow visably. Yes i rather like the pale green & mauve spacey translucent looking background with this sans yellow. It doesn't distract too much from the model.

That explains it then. I haven't had chance to look at your scene and shader files yet. I have iterations set to 23 in mine. It will go higher (up to about 40 I think) but I liked the lower detail better. I thought it may be the way you had altered the formulas for the background that had caused the changes.

Well thats interesting, I had set the scene code's iteration uniform at

• uniform: maxIter, int, 25

instead of the default 70, to take into account less powerful graphics cards...so check that again.
However doing this * makes it run at breakneck speed on my system, and reduces a lot of the side detail.
In fact it looks damn dangerous for the model imho at that speed :-(
At home I run this at higher maxIter like 64 and hence its much mellower flight speed and includes more side detail. (viz above pic)
The background color using less yellow/green at line 192 in the shader, was really just an accident of attempting to reduce the bright garishness of the pervasive background caused by maxiimum iterations 25. It might well be a factor in the iteration processing because there was so much yellow before. Hope its a useful accident..so many can be ;-)
