This is a momentous work when put together with your previous, & we are lucky all is substantively updated/documented in your code comments. All your latest scenes are working fine without hanging or Player debug error for my rig. Some of the complex functions seem to run a little fast at times but no doubt can be adjusted in the shader codes. The panels & complex function renderings look superb. Thanks for this wonderful work. It will take a long time to mull through it all, however already I've discovered there are some real gems to be found. So glad you found time to complete it..most grateful as always, for you demonstrating a clear methodical approach to the work ;-)
Thanks to @TheEmu for noticing an inconsistancy in my BoyC shader mods Go1 & Go2. in code line 194 which on some GPUs was throwing an error. I had expressed a simple float equivalent to a function of 'tpn' a vec3, i.e. a vector of three floats. This has now been changed to a function of 'length'. Both shader mods were Updated yesterday in the Share Thread.:-)

Edit: the last cards by Merry Pie and Mia Sollis are great for scene makers, although Merry's and now some of the latest cards look a bit oversized atm, pending update.
I wonder if a filter expression for side cutaway clips could be included in the SCN file Clip parameter allow/deny: settings ?

I have all my cards downloaded on a 4TB HDD in my computer. Always ready for the show. 😛

Yes.

If the models wearing only lingerie or bikini, the shows are one-sided, but if they wearing full clothes, coates, jackets, skirts, blouses or tops and during tease lingerie - here will greater possibilities of variation of dance and strip-tease.
If the girl is fully clothed, can be more excited, when the model in some scenes she's not wearing panties or bra. this is in harmony with the VG's old practice.
In the elder cards (Classic cards) was such that the model where only a jacket or a towel (nothing else on her naked body). This is a good additional scene too (f.e. in the strip-tease scene)

I wholeheartedly approve this message. Too many cards recently where the model is wearing very little right from the start and so gets naked too quickly. That's my impression, and I perfer cards where the girls live up to teh promise of VirtuaGirl being about 'Desktop Strippers'.

I totally agree, the shows that go from outfit to underwear to nude are far better than the others that just got for the tiny bikini then nude in less than a minute... Belle Claires latest show is just the sort of things that's needed.

But that's just my humble opinion of course. :)

Every one of her cards, including duos, are favorites in my desktop, so I definitely cannot just pick three. They'd be random pics and would change every time I made a list. lol

It seems like members have the same problem as dy693927he, DrenDor, Wyldanimal & I do. How to choose. So far 11 of the 13 Viola cards in 3K have been mentioned, with no card mentioned more than 3 times. She is clearly a consistently good performer. But which cards are most favored? Stay tuned.

I have just uploaded an updated version of the Complex Functions shader and Tunnel scenes using it, see the Share Your Scenes thread.

As I said in that thread this version of the shader is at the limit of what the scene compiler for my Intel Integrated Graphics processor can handle, though it is fine once compiled and loaded. As a result there can be a long delay before the scene appears. For me the delay is between 20 and 30 seconds, but it feels a lot longer. Its only 5 or 6 seconds when I use my Nvidia GPU.

If you use this shader then please read the TWO WARNINGS file that accompanies the scenes. Just be patient and do not click on anything until either the scene plays or VGHD crashes. If it does crash then make sure it is really gone, restart it and try again - being even more careful not to click on anything after selecting a scene.

If you still have trouble try renaming the shader files as described in the TWO WARNINGS file,

If you still have trouble then please let me know and maybe I can create a reduced functionality version of the shader that can be run on your system.

I have been updating the Complex Functions shader which now has quite a
few extra capabilities. In addition to simply evaluating a series of
functions, f(z) of a complex variable it can supports

Evaluating f(z), f(1/z), f(log(z)), f(log(1/z)) and f(1/log(z))
Evaluating the reciprocals of all of the above
Evaluating the log of all of the above
Evaluating 1 / log of all of the above

Iterate the function to any degree

Applying mappings to the domain before function evaluating
In particular these mapping may invert the domain or they
may map the whole of the complex plane to a finite region.

Domain trimming so that only a finite area is retained, or
is discarded. The colour, defaulting to transparent, for a
trimmed area may be specifified in the .scn file.

Rendering any result that is calculated as a NaN in a user
specified colour, defaulting to transparent.

Controling how contour lines are displayed. The ability to
do this has been extended and the defaults changed so that
the "noisy" areas that were often seen before are now much
reduced or entirely eliminated.

Controlling the translucency of the generated image.

In addition the capabilities of the Data Panel code embedded in this
shader have been extended. Unfortunately I have not had time to produce
a simple standalone example, but I will do so in the near future.

In addition to simple uses there are a few series of scenes that make
of the shader to construct rooms or boxes.

To go with all this there are many more example scenes, so many that I
have had to rename them in a way that directly reflects the values used
for the main control parameters. There are also so many that it is not
practical to install them all where VGHD can find them, so most of them
are only present in separate zip files within the main zip.

I have extended the descriptive text files. Please read these before
running any of the scenes, particularly the one labelled TWO WARNINGS
as it includes important information about possible problems that you
may encounter and how, I hope, you can avoid them.

The non-experimental set of Tunnels scenes has been updated to use the
new version of the Complex Functions shader.

I agree, especially for girls who know how to do it well this sounds really good! Not all girls are good a stripping but for those that do it well, giving them more to strip out of just gives them more to work with.

It would take me hours to decide, if even I could!

I kind of agree with Spacedragon64 on this, it would be nice to see the original Virtuagirl with a full striptease, and not the half hearted version.

But ...this is mainly because most of the models don't or have little experience in "stripping" to begin with.

With this problem, at this time, it is not a good idea to go full clothing then nude.

It would be nice, but with the numerous problems involved, it is not exactly a good idea.

P.S.

All for it, when the right solution (Showing a "how to" video on stripping or clip of a movie showing stripping, ect.) to the problem is solved.

it's always difficult to fine tune, because sound levels on deskbabes cards go from whispering to loud moaning, and as you know sound is not linear, so sometimes it's pretty hard to amplify the very subtle sounds without bringing back too much noise...

Also backed up to another External drive from the desktop collection. Why? Yes we can redownload but cards that get removed cannot be obtained again. If you have a local copy though you can still use them.

I used to download both, but these days, my network speed and other time constraints have stopped me.

I down load ob one PC, then sync a copy to my main PC and also to a network storage device.

@TheEmu, if you have time, could you comment on how/ whether changing above co-ordinates here in the BoyC TheCave fragment shader or somewhere else in the code, is necessary to achieve better tiling of rendered texture2Ds? Also, I'd be grateful if you would consider modding this or the GPU-friendly Elias Ice Cave labyrinths further so we can experiment with different routes,( say, like a 'TheEmu ~Tunnel B' version ?) with panels.
