Since i read the question a few time now, and the Totem team chooses not to respond, i give you a difference that i clearly visible for girls with long flowing hair but also for Jenni Gregg.
In the new format this looks much more realistic than in the old format. Just checked it with Morganes new card in comparrison to Flashy Babe.

I don't understand why VGHD does not indicate if it is a new format on the models webpage. Especially for when they start reformatting the old ones.

i really hope that they will do it when they start reprocessing.
For now it seems that all new released cards are in the new format.
At least the 3 cards released today definitely are in the new format.

then i'm pretty sure that Alexandras last show and Susans last show also are in the new format. Jennis first show definitly is, since many have problems with it trying to run it on the old version 1.0.2.19
Have to look if Tarra Whites Hair is long enough to see something :-)
Edit: Yeah i'm positive about Tarra Whites new show and Ariels new show too. Don't have the others but i guess that all new shows beginning with the week where Alexandras second and Jenni Greggs first show was released are in the new format.

I am not part of the Totem staff, so take this with a pinch of salt.

The new process is to do with blue screen removal and from viewing the cards the following observations are visible.

The new process deals with blue screen removal, the overall process is an improvement, as already observed.
There is less blue ***** into the picture, especially in blond and/or flowing hair.
More 'fine' detail is retained, for example heels, necklaces/dress straps hanging away from the body. These items tend to be unsharp but much more visible than in the past.

It is not perfect, in particular shinny surfaces tend to reflect blue and become blurry to transparent. There are instances of bright wallpaper showing through.
There are also some cases where the skin tones become blurry, almost pixelated.

Overall a good improvement.

I do not believe that all cards since Trisha 220 have to be new format. And I am not sure that Totem wish to distinguish (may be wrong). There are probably a few...

prepared shows that are old format but not released yet.

We can know for sure that the 2 cards released with Trisha Black Pearl Bar are in the old format because when they released it they said that only Trishas card requires the new version.
From there on i can only evaluate the cards i own (Alexandra, Ariel, Jenni Gregg, Tarra White, Susan and the 3 cards from today). And i'm quite sure they are all new format.

The only two that I would question released since 220 Trisha are 535 Shabba Happy Ship and 552 Susan Sweet Day. Both have the classic harsh outline.

the free trailers of that card was aviable for the Beta-testers.

I have to agree about Susans new card (552 Sweet Day). Looks more like old format to me also.
I never doubted Trishas card because that would really be stupid if Totem tells us its the new format and than it isn't.
PS: To hell with that beta test card! I want that gone from my collection ASAP!
