In response to the above post; you will just be ***** yourself by not being able to buy any future cards that you may want. The credits that you will not be getting do not even amount to a drop in the bucket and Totem will not even notice. Take the word of another martyr who is speaking with her wallet.

I call BS! Totem said "YOU CAN NOT LOSS"! Nothing in the posted info said that if you do not have cards available that you can still spin and LOSS 1 credit. I am posting the original TGIF post below. TOTEM failed to inform the community of this change and should reimburse members for lost credits.

You win discounts or free credits, or both!
The Chinese slot machine has 4 rolls with cards & golden coin + 1 roll with the discount applied to the cards drawn.

No it's just that all these slot machine whatevers have obvious bugs/glitches... I mean there is a difference between playing a slot machine that actually works (and losing) and playing one that doesn't even work at all... in this case most of the time (from my observation)

I believe the Majority of the member raised Issues, are not so Much BUGs,
as they are, Not Understanding how it works.
In the case of the Last Slot machine.
1) a Member Must have had 1 or More cards Older than 20 days old.
Available in the Store, ( not Including the Classic ( 480p ) Cards )
2) it costs a credit ( or 2 ) regardless if you Had enough cards or Not.
3) if you did not have any Cards available, then you were spinning for Gold Coins to Win Credits.
4) A Member can Check their own popup Profile to See how many Cards they have available.
5) this was the First Slot machine that Allowed Members with Full Collections to Spin for Credits
and Yes, for these members there are Losing Spins, but you Still pay the 1 Credit ( or 2 ) for that Spin.
Genuine Issues, such as Server connection Issues, need to be reported to Customer support.

Am I understanding this correctly: if the line shows some credit win I still have to "buy" that line (with the other dicounts) to earn those credits? Or do I get them instantly?

If you primary desire is to collect as many cards as possible for the least cost, you should:
1. Buy credits at the best discount you can find. This weekend is a very good time to buy credits.
2. Buy cards only at a discount. Any of the TGIF offerings are better than list price. The preview discounts are also useful.
It's hard to evaluate the relative value of different TGIF offers because in some cases like the current slot machine there is no information about the probability of each possible outcome. The buy 3, get one free offers are probably the best if you buy 3 older cards and get a 3K card as the free one.
To save the most you need to be patient. Only buy credits when they are cheapest like now. Then only buy cards when they are cheapest. If you use up all your credits wait for the next reload bonus offer.
I use a modified strategy. I only reload when cheapest. However, the cards I really like I buy as soon as they come out. Cards I want that are not in my top tier I only buy when discounted. I don't buy from any random offers like the slot machine because 90% of the cards I don't own I don't want.

So are you saying that when I land on gold coins and am suppose to receive credits but don't that it's because the internets are not working properly???

When you Spin the Slots< it Cost you 1 credit or 2 Credits if you used that option..
If you get 1 Gold Coin, that Pays Back 1 credit or 2 Credits
so it Cost you 1, but then you got 1 back
or It Cost you 2 but you Got 2 back
Your Even...
If you get More than 1 Gold Coin
It Still Cost you that 1 or 2 credits to Spin, but then you Win back How ever many Credits based on the Number of Gold Coins.
So you End up, adding to your Credits, the Total Winnings, Minus the Cost of the Spin..
The ONLY time you Click the BUY button
is If there are Cards Revealed that you want to buy, at the Indicated Discount.
To Get the Discount, you MUST buy all the Cards revealed using the BUY button.
So if you have 2 cards revealed and 2 gold coins.
you collect the Gold Coin Credits Immediately (minus the cost of the Spin ) with out Pressing the Buy Button.
If you Want the Two Cards at the Discount, Then you Need to Use the BUY button.
You Can't go to the Store and Buy Just One of the Cards. You Will Not Get the Discount displayed on the Winning Spin.
