Hello Gals & Guys!

I come up with a very special news today and I hope you gonna share our pride and enthusiasm about it!

We are about to release our first VR adult game : VR PARADISE!

VR Paradise is a virtual Stripclub compatible with headsets that allow Six degrees of freedom like Oculus or HTC Vive. It means that not only the headset will track your head movements when you look around, but it will also track your location in the club when you physically move left, right, forward, backward, up and down.

This is why VRParadise can boast of being the most immersive and arousing stripclub experience nowadays. We have captured the motions of very talented professional strippers and applied them to high poly real time meshes, associated to realistic textures (and you will propably recognize some of them).

So, just like in a real stripclub, you can enjoy a hot gentlemen's club environment with several simultaneous shows onstage, table dances and explicite nude private dances on demand.

We worked hard on it and we are finally ready to submit VR Paradise on Steam, the biggest gaming platform. It means that VR Paradise should be available to download in the next couple of weeks.

In the meantime, we count on you to spread the word and to support the project by following our social networks and sharing our content.

On discord : https://discord.gg/nZ46aQM

And more generally, on internet at https://www.vrparadise.com

If you don't already own a VR headset, it's time to add it to your Christmas wishlist ^_^

Is there any chance of you putting the trailer somewhere that I can get it without having to subscribe to youtube? Maybe somewhere on the iStripper site itself.

This seems like a really fun concept, will definately give it a shot when the time comes :)

Also, maybe an idea for later could be to give the iStripper full screen gentleman's club lounge a VR-possibility (or other screens, ...)? I don't think this will be easy, but it's just an idea :D

This isn't worth 400€ for an 3D device, for a software with reasonably well animated 3D models, who remotely remind of iStripper girls.

I wish this wouldn't fail, but in my personal experience VR put too much stress on head and eyes.
I can't recommend it.
Good luck with the launch.

Make sure you pick up the headset of a friend to test VRParadise, you will immediately change your mind, I can promise!

This was my worry as well ! But we have worked very carefully to make sure movements are soft & slow. It helps a lot not to stress your eyes & brain - I feel more comfortable on VR Paradise than any other game I've tested...

Great news! I'm glad Totem has come up with a business model that justifies a move into VR. Are you planning a card system, similar to IStripper? And maybe more than one stripclub?

I'll be very interested to see how skins mapped onto mesh works. Some games release with a version for people without headsets, which increase market penetration and act as a teaser for the full product. It needn't be any cheaper. Are you planning to do this?

Hi Celine, is it free or not on the steam, and does it take big space on the hard disk? , thanks :)

Why not proposing some VR shows instead ? I mean, with real girls instead of weird 3D animated models ? I'm not against the idea (the game) but considering your main product it feels simply odd to me.

Because in order to do that without using a huge number of cameras able to capture every bit of the performer's body no matter how she arranges her limbs and clothing is not practical if you want to allow the observer to change his or her point of view. A simple 3D film with a fixed viewpoint ought to be practical, but not the full VR experience. Personally I think I would prefer the simple 3D film, but Totem have decided to go down the other route.

Agreed, probably. I'd be happy with a fixed viewpoint and a 3d film, but maybe they'll morph the mesh to the girl's shape and the motion calculations will include further morphs. I can't see how they could get changes of expression without it. But let's wait and see - maybe it'll be real enough to do the trick!

We're also working on classic stereoscopic VR180 videos for istripper. But the experience with VRParadise is something really different. The dancers will litteraly dance over and around you, very close like in a real table dance club. These is something that can't be done with fixed point of vue videos. The youtube trailer video can't show want the experience will be wise the VR Headset.

Well, you could move the camera to mimic the viewer moving in close if you thought that was worthwhile doing, but the viewer would have no control over it as they would in a VR system. But we can sort of do that already using the Fullscreen Scene mode - and in principle the viewer could even have some control via the mouse when using Fullscreen Scene mode. The current system doesn't support it, but by providing fragment shaders access to the mouse as in WebGL we scene developers should be able do it ourselves.

For rendering computer graphic images a workstation with two RTX 2080Ti is available.
A 4 slot NV Link is preordered.
I am under the impression that a hybrid solution of Rasterization and Ray Tracing could bring some more interesting VR experiences somewhere in 2019 when game engines start supporting the Tensor cores of the new Nvidia Turing RTX cards.

In addition to ray traced lighting, dynamic clothing & hair, subsurface scattering, high detail geometry could allow some more immersive experiences when the game engine supports such features.

. . .

That being said I stayed away from VR so far because "the industry" can not yet seem to agree on some common standards.
Some steam apps can be made to work with a Playstation VR headset connected to the PC.

Has the team allready tried if and with what limitations the VR stripclub could work with a Playstation VR headset?

For which head mounted display will the VR experience be optimised?

I understand your point, but I personally don't think being able to move around the model while she's performing is necessary. A fixed viewpoint with a 3 dimensional set is enough, allowing the model to move all around you. That's all that matters to me.
You can also imagine being able to trigger some specific shows depending on the furnitures (let's say a strip bar, a couch, etc.) dispersed around you. I think there's a lot to explore with VR, even with a show-based mechanic.

But of course, if you want to move around that's certainly not the right option and a game might be the best solution, even if it will demand a lot of work I believe to keep the game attractive and pleasant, adding new models and animations (about that I hope it's motion captured, but from what I saw it's pretty convincing) regularly.

@Zagan - then we are in agreement. I said i think I would prefer a simple 3D film with fixed viewpoint, and Herve has sad that they are already working on just that.

That is awesome. You really get used to the headset after a while and forget that it is there. I am looking forward to it:) Is the steam version censored?

I tend to agree with Ullubu.

I'm no strange to VR porn thanks to the Samsung GearVR and Skybox to stream through the phone, but I'm not willing to put down that much money for something I know I won't use very often.

If there was a reliable way to stream Steam games to the GearVR I would give it a go, but there really aren't and good options and no one I know bothers with VR to borrow a headset from.

I am interested in it, just not to the point I am willing to put down ££ for the headset prices.

My first hopes were an immersion with just 3 girls around you, with only head movement tracking. This occulus immersion feels like something that we simply are not ready for technology-wise. I've seen the graphics from the occulus from the trailer and I'm not impressed.

I do hope it works out for the people who are interested :) All the best!

I have watched the You Tube demo. It looks very interesting, but there was one turn off: the faces of the models are like the faces of a doll.

@Celine Make a good voting poll about what people think of this VR stripclub.

I'd love to view the uncensored product, but just have no interest in investing big dollars on a headset that I probably wouldn't use that often.

Keep in perspective this is an Adult Oriented VR GAME
So the Images are Digital Likeliness, not Live Video Footage

I will be doing some testing with Trinus to see if the PSVR headset connected to the PC is workable.
I can't test till the product is available .

@Team
Don't know if you would need to Work with Trinus to create a Configuration so the PSVR can be Used.

This is, using a PSVR Headset Connected to the PC, not using a Sony gaming console..

"Is the steam version censored? "

Steam has recently changed their rules to allow for full nudity so I guess the content isn't censored....

Still, I'm not going to buy a VR-set just to view this content.
