I've been feeling kind of bad about the quick super low ratings given to many of the new cards recently. Imagine Krystel, Laura and Demi patiently checking the site week after week for years, and suddenly their missing cards show up with their worst ratings ever. Or poor Kayla crying in the corner on Virtuagirl launch day when her card starts out with a 5.
Well Jenni Gregg was lording it over everyone today and that just didn't seem right. After studying her free photos for 2 seconds, I realized that super hot blonds annoy me and that her new show was an obvious zero.
He he, I felt pretty damn good when my zero-rating smackdown sunk her rating by .10 points. In yer face ice queens of the world that I'll never get to sleep with in my wildest dreams.
Thanks Totem for encouraging everyone to rate without spending money or watching the shows. Do try this at home kids.
P.S. ignore the ratings. They're mostly bogus. Live long and prosper.
Lol. Excellent thread, Ambler. I've done the low rating before just to see how big of a difference it would make. It is really interesting to see the initial rating of each new card. Demi and Krystel started out REALLY low. Demi was 4 or something at first. And though I still think that show was crap, it doesn't take away the fact that the ratings are absolutely pointless, so much so that I now ignore it completely.
It doesn't really matter to Totem either. Demi was on special despite her ratings being significantly lower than Nicca and Nicca has yet to be specially offered. Jenni, I imagine, will be offered soon, but surprisingly she was not offered after the other two new cards had been. As another person said, it's a business.
Damn, the blond Czech ***** of darkness continue to rule the day.
Well, my zero was just a test. Only Sarah Connor (or maybe a ratings bot of thousands of zombie computers) could preserve the universe in the struggle against these all-powerful ratings gods
To be honest I think it's a bit disingenuous to give any card on vghd a zero, especially when you haven't actually seen the show.
Even if there was a card featuring a truly ugly girl combined with an awful performance (which there isn't), I doubt whether it would be completely worthless.
This kind of blatant ratings ***** is yet another reason why non-card owners shouldn't be allowed to rate cards in my book.
@Ambler Certainly you can't really tell whether the show is worth a 10 without watching it, and I completely agree that those who haven't seen the show shouldn't be able to ***** the rating in either direction. It's a fair bet, however, if not a certainty, that any card presented on vghd is worth more than zero.
That's another thing Totem could do to improve the rating system. Completely remove the pointless zero option which I reckon is almost exclusively used for purposes of ratings *****. Just have the rating scale ranging from 1-10.
@CyberVixen: ROFL: Some buissness ideas are really weird.. cock fighting.. *headshaking* Where did you find that 'product'? Not that i want it *LOL* just interested who sells such stuff. BTW Is there also a breast fighting set available of that company? ;-)
I've given up on the ratings and decided to treat them as the complete farce they are.
With that in mind as a non-owner of the cards not in my collection I have awarded 10 to every single one of the 48 cards. The way I figure it is that if I can bump up their ratings they might just appear as specials by getting over the 8.70 threshold.
If we all do it Totem might have no choice but to change things to a more sensible system.
Regarding the magic zero, I've dished out a zero to Card 5 Carol G Bimboland, I don't regret doing it and I think it's well justified. She's a beautiful girl but that card should not exist, it is a complete rip-off and anyone who buys it might just think the rest are similar so my zero stands!
Lol,, thanks CyberVixen,, but it was actually Starryk that is ordering the wonky willies...so I will pass it on to him now,,,, Hey,,,,, Starryk,,, your Willies are in!!!!!!!!!
Of course, they are out of stock. Tis the holiday season and what better stocking stiffer, er stuffer, for family and friends than an inflatable willy. A lifetime of fun guaranteed.
No Problem all humans make mistakes sometimes. As i said thanks for the link. That this product is sold by a british company is interesting. I would have located that kind of stuff to Japan. They have a lot of weird stuff there. Maybe also a boobfighting set ;-)
I'm confident that your reason was plan B, CyberVixen. I mean, who on this site would have the audacity to attempt to bait you into something so rediculous? I have only my old age and shortness of retention span to blame as I thaught that is what the thread was about,,, I think,,,
