As I stated quite clearly in my reply this seems to be simply a bug in the search function. Given that there are some very major bugs in the forum search function it is not at all surprising that similar problems exist in the closely related member search function.

For example searching for "manda" found mandalay but not mandalorethx, thoughh this was found by searching for "mandalor".

You can believe anything that is found does exist, but not in the non-existance of things that are not found. This is very much to be regretted and I really wish that Totem would treat fixing it as a high priority item.

@ward666999 - With regard to your PM. There are major problems with the forum search function and I am not at all surprised that this extends to the member search function. You sent me a list of 7, out of 50, names of Joker winners for which the search function had problems. This is unfortunate but almost certainly relates to a bug in the search function. Therehave been several posts in the "Bugs and fixes" thread about the problems with the search function - more than one reported by me - and I regard fixing these bugs as being way overdue.

I think cockup is a more appropriate description than conspiracy.

You seem to have far more experience with graphics than I do. I have not noticed a problem with resolution playing iStripper on either my MacBook Pro or on a 4K 40" display on my 2013 Mac Pro.

This is a problem. I've been reporting it for years with no improvement. For me it is a random problem that lasts 10-20 minutes and then goes away. When it is present, the latency for even a mouse click can be more than 2 minutes and the model will freeze every so often. This problem is much worse when I try to play more than one card in small mode on multiple displays on my Mac Pro. Since, for me, this problem only occurs occasionally, I've simply waited it out, but I'd really like Totem to fix it.

This is true. A 720p show has a nominal height of about 700 pixels but that includes enough space above the model's head for her arms. If you try to play a 720p card at a scale of more than about 40% on your MacBook you will begin to see jaggies since iStripper is trying to scale up the native image. I never play 720p card at more than 25% on my 4K display for this reason.

You probably will see some degradation in quality about 90%.

Try this experiment: Try playing different cards at different scales and turn the "Don't zoom over 100% of the clip's original size." checkbox in Settings on and off. When the scale is high enough you will see that some images are being scaled up.

hi, yeah my macs display is 15.4-inch (2880 x 1800) . the app itself has a low res considering all the other applications i run on my mac . its also very choppy and lags all the time . i use heavy softwares like adobe premiere pro where i edit 4k footage and istripper lags even more than premiere pro. also i noticed that if i download 720p then i cant really scale that much and if i download 3k then i can scale it to a 100+. so im not really sure cause i honestly cant make the diff between the quality.

I also run iStripper on a MacBook Pro. In my case it's a 2016 model currently running OSX 10.14.6. I haven't noticed a problem playing 3K cards.

I'd like to help you, but I don't have enough information. Could you be more specific about what you are seeing and the settings you are using? How do you know you are seeing 720p resolution and not 3K?

hey i have a mac book pro and i can play 4k res on other sites . but only when i open this app , only the apps display goes down significantly while my desktop and everything else is high res. as a result from playing through the app. even the 3k downloads play at 720p. any way to change the apps res? thanks

I'm glad i'm not an obsessive collector. C'mon guys, it's just one card, there are other over 4000 cards, just let it go. Enjoy all these other amazing cards instead of being obssesed over the one card you don't have.

Real shame she left. She was one of my favorite models. At least I cna still access the cards and content that goes with them. I still miss not having Camilla/ Divine /Miss Roxx cards/bonus content that goes with them.

Totem have done it again.
Another special event card with no defined pathway to obtain it.
Presumably Totem are happy to lose loyal customers.
I will not be topping up my credit balance in the future so presumably Totem have worked out that they are getting more money from people playing these scratchcard games where you might not win anything.
Same with the Joker card, you might have hundreds of entries in the draw and win nothing.

I AGREE 100 PRE CENT. Loyal customers do not deserve to be treated this way. We have spent loads over the years and then scratchcards come on the scene without much chance of winning the special event cards. I have all the cards but special event cards. i'm sure that i am not the only one who has spent a mint and won nothin.

Until then, my remaining 1600.35 credits rest quietly in their corner. And you can be sure that they will rest there, until that solution is found.

Yep, the ‘like’ button similarity thing has been discussed from the moment that little easy quote button was implemented. Totem team members seem to like it and like where it is so it looks as if it’s here to stay no matter what.

I agree that many of them speak loud but they are hooked well enough, and Totem is counting on that.

@Carbo - I have seen several posters here that claim that they will stop buying - but as they are triple diamond members, and some if I remember correctly have even appeared in recent lists of those that have full collections, so they do not always behave in the way that they say that they will. Behaviour, especially en mass, trumps rhetoric.

There was no doublespeak. The wording of the offers clearly (to me at least, and I think to most who read them) indicated that it was the events that were special. Nothing was said about the content of the cards being special.

What is being celebrated - nothing in particular. Some of the special events aligned with external celebrations but not the others.

Using emotional words and phrases such "frustrate" and "honest customers" does not help.

I don't much like the special events and would prefer that all cards were simply sold in the normal way - but that does not mean that I feel that I should be entitled to get them that way.

and after the event, it can also be gained through one of the games of chance.

I respect your opinion, but before making any decisions, I would like to suggest that you wait until you see the proposals made.

I appreciate your participation on the forum and your creations. It would be a shame to lose you, even if I agree, few people comment positively on your creations, who deserve it.

Having said that, I see a positive movement on totem's part, and I prefer to see what will happen, before "throwing the stone".

Of course, nothing prevents you from doing as I do and waiting for the proposed solution, before making purchases, if you obviously wish.

One thing is certain, special event cards are cards like any other, and do not deserve to be paid exorbitant sums to get them. As gambling leads people to do it.

J'apprécie votre participation sur le forum et vos créations. Ce serait dommage de vous perdre, même si j'en conviens, peu de gens commentent positivement vos créations, qui le méritent amplement.

Ceci dit, je vois un mouvement positif de la part de Totem, et je préfère voir ce qui va se passer, avant de "jeter la pierre".

Évidemment, rien ne vous empêche de faire comme moi et attendre la solution proposée, avant de refaire des achats, si vous le désirez évidemment.

Une chose est certaine, les cartes évènement spéciaux sont des cartes comme les autres, et ne méritent pas que l'on paie des sommes exorbitantes pour se les procurer. Comme les jeux de hasard ammène les gens à le faire.
