1: Previews are your friend - There is no need to rent in bulk unless your an achievement hunter.

2: Be more selective - You have enough variety in your collection to give you an idea of what your tastes are and what iStripper is offering.

3: Don't let the games overwhelm you - There are games every week, every month, and almost every holiday. Your not missing anything that won't eventually come back around.

You are doing this exactly right. The best way to find which girls you REALLY like is picking up a sample card or 2 from each likely-looking one and studying it carefully. And, as usual, study is its own reward. 😍

I notice though that the GPU is used 100% no matter what resolution the cards are with this scene.

There is a clear improvement. Although I still perceive slight jerks sometimes with cards other than 4K. Depending on the model the latency is between 110 and 125 ms approximately. I have allowed the reading of 1080p, 3K and 4K cards. It varies a lot from one girl to another and from the resolution of the cards.

It's very uneven. A 4K card from Miss Olivia had less jerkiness than a 3K card from Nancy A with this scene for example.

I enabled low latency mode on my NVidia graphics card as well after researching it. It improves a bit but not that much. I notice though that the GPU is used 100% no matter what resolution the cards are with this scene.

Until I get a new graphics card with more memory, it will be difficult for me to know if the problem is not my current graphics card and not the cards resolution.


Il y a a une nette amélioration. Bien que je perçoit toujours de légères saccades parfois avec des cartes autre que 4K. Selon les modèles la latence est entre 110 et 125 ms environ. It means there is a delay in processing some part/s of the shader script.
I noticed the stuttering for FG454 was borderline to ***** on my PC.
I may adjust the settings and see if it improves

You don't have to comment to rate, you can just rate and submit the rating.
And 0 ratings count, there is just a bug in the store that don't show 0 ratings, but in the comments in the app you can see 0 stars.
Comments without a rating are just that, because you can comment without rating too.

It would probably be better to improve some of the known issues with the current system, like duplicate ratings and maybe not a default 0 rating (rating only counts if user selects a rating).

I believe that although you can submit multiple comments only the most recent rating is used.

I also believe that if you do not explcitly set a rating then it is not treated as being 0 but is simply ignored.

In my opinion the rating should be kept in the user profile (my rating). In VG/DB there was a function sort cards by my rating. That was useful, the rest of the rating system is not. Some of the cards I like very much have rating under 4 which is quite unfair considering much worse cards have higher scores. All is your personal taste, sometimes you just have to disregard others opinion/rating/comments. Same goes for the comments. Just lately there was a card full of positive comments, then you say okay everyone says this card is so good, you download it and then there was absolutely nothing special to see on it (for me), in fact under average. That perfectly shows how other's opinion does not count at all. In addition, promised won't mention it the 100th time, but a facourite function would be very useful within the My Collection. No idea why it wasn't copied, it was there in the old system.

Isn't the current ratings pretty well embedded in the system, though, for many years worth of rating data ... seems unlikely it will change. To me, it's fine and provides some good information and sorting, despite typical flaws in any rating system. Other proposals wouldn't significantly change the results to warrant a big change to the ratings systems. It would probably be better to improve some of the known issues with the current system, like duplicate ratings and maybe not a default 0 rating (rating only counts if user selects a rating).

I agree with the favoriting. Sexuality by nature is niche and a person could absolutely be obsessed with things that many other people dislike. The only reason to allow negative comments is if we assume the girl isn't trying their best or the company isn't trying their best. If both parties are doing their best then what is the point of a low score or complaint. A card with few likes or favorites will tell the company that this attempt could possibly be better without being negative.

I'd personally prefer a Like/Dislike/Unrated system, along with a public 'Favourite'.

That way you can see how many people Like/Dislike the card vs how many people have actually bought it (or received it) - which to me is a more important metric. Keep comments obviously, as those are also important.

In addition, a public 'Favourite' stat would also be useful. There's a lot of cards I like, there's some I dislike, and then there's a selection that I love - and I think it'd be a useful filter when searching for shows to buy (top favourited shows).

This would then bring the rating system in line with a lot of adult sites, which seems to work well.

Well, how about redesigning the voting system using several metrics at same time? You can find several members doing just this in their reviews, rate per look, performance, body, fetish, etc., you name it.
A model can have overall 4.50 but we would able to see which aspect of the card was most loved by users and which not so much.

Perhaps we are mostly Caucasians, so mostly prefer such models.

Are you sure it is Totem that are doing the "underestimating" (by which I think you mean "under rating" or "under appreciating").

Until I stopped buying I had a full collection of cards. If I sort it by rating then the first card that has a "black" ethnicity tag is found near the end of the fifth page of my collection when displayed as thumbnails. Sadly, it may be the customers that are under-appreciating these cards.

I get the impression that Totem try hard to recruit black models and that their relative rarity here is principally due to the lack of availble models in Europe. I have previously posted that iStripper has a slightly higher proportion of black models than are found listed on the TheNude.com site but I have not rechecked the numbers again recently.

No system ever will be an objective one, that is a simple truth, because even in like/dislike system everyone will be rating cards with 0 for absolutely different reasons.

So my preferences are to have the biggest choice possible and if some people don't want to use it at all that is their choice, because in the system with the lot of choice you can do anything. In the system with almost no choices you can behave only like everyone else - that means like Russian judges in the 0/1 case.

The reasons why some of us have suggested that the pulblic rating system might be better if it was reduced to a simple like/dislike system are

1) According to Totem almost all votes are either 5 stars orare just 0 or 1 stars so to a good approximation it already works that way anyway.

2) There are, however, those (I was one when I was submitting ratings) that did try to be subtle in our ratings - but this in the end only adds to the "problem" in that we end up with different groups of people using the system in very different ways making it essentially impossible to assign any real meaning to the final rating.

There isn't really a rating system because there is no standard set of criteria that are applied by those submitting the ratings. Instead there are many, some rather idiosyncratic, rating systems in use with an almost meaningless average over these various incompatable systems being presented as the rating.

It would, in my opinion, be of much more use if there was a private rating by which we could sort our collections according to how we rate them rather than only being able to sort by the public average.

I use the system to rate the cards I saw, so I can see in the future how much I liked some card and for that is like or dislike simply not enough. If some people want to rate cards only 0 or 5 that is their choice and they can do it in 5 star system the same like in like/dislike system. But don't take from people who want to use the whole scale the option to use it just because many people are not using it even if they can.

Moreover with like/dislike system there will be even more 0 ratings than in 0-5 stars, so I think it resolves absolutely nothing in the end.

Or in other words: you want to solve the Russian judges problem with the solution that everyone must use it without any other choice? That doesn't make sense at all.

I tryed with bottles https://flathub.org/apps/details/com.usebottles.bottles, the app is installed but when i *****/drop cards in the list to play them, card blink.

when girls are doing their show, their blink too.

I put directx9 and 11 in dependencies, activate gpu acceleration and try with xorg gpu driver and nvidia 515 driver but it's same.

The most weird is that seems works perfectly (almost better than on windows) in full screen mode with backgrounds like screensaver, but in small and big it's bugged.

if someone have an idea, i'm missing theses girls XD
