Well, to clarify a little to you.
1080p will always be at least as big as the biggest animations you saw at the old 720p, but actually bigger, no matter if close-ups or standing clips.
In the past the standing clips were smaller than the close-up clips, with the new stuff, both are the same and adjusted to the bigger reference for size, that is, the close-ups.
So, standing clips looks now at 1080 as big as the close-ups, and that is great, cause at times you can't tell you're watching an standing clip when the girl goes down to the floor, cause the size is equal, so the viewer get better views to the model at all times.
Then again, nothing got smaller with the new resolution, all is bigger.
And remember, at some point, 720p will be extinct for cards produced since the 2010. Maybe all that stuff before 2010 will be the new "Classics", since the resolution and size will be pretty much different and outdated.
