A new version is out!

The bottom line is right now I have no way of knowing which cards I already previewed. So now I have to reconsider basically every card in the totem catalog. Worse yet, I will be ***** to do this forever every time I think about which card to buy ... every time!!!

I understand the reasons behind the new feature and so I will accept that it needs to be in place. But I really think there needs to be some thought put into replacing the lost functionality. The wishlist is not sufficient for this. Some others have provided suggestions so let me add mine to the list.

1. Show wishlist indicator on the cards when I click on the cards view for a given model (or everywhere cards are visible). In the past it showed the cards that I had previews of. It no longer does this. I used this to indicate to myself that I had already considered that card. If I dont own the show then there must be a reason why, such as I have decided against it. Wishlist items were the ones I have decided to get but havent done so yet. Without the wishlist indicator on the cards view then I have to click on each card to see if that card is on my wishlist.

2. If the indicator for previews is now gone for good (except for the 7) then I want the ability to privately rate cards. So once I've watched the preview I can set an indicator, that shows on each card, that indicates my thoughts. Similar to the above this indicator should be visible everywhere cards are visible but of course only visible to me.

Please dont make me rewatch hudreds of previews so I can decide what to purchase next.

@Rex
Theres nothing wrong with adding cards to the wishlist, except that there are way too many cards there already. ;>)
So without having a way to add my personal mark to a card after previewing, I still have to preview all 200+ cards in my wishlist, to decide, witch to buy right now.
What I would like, is a custom "banner", like the NEW or the Preview, in which I can put f.ex. a number - like how bad do I want this card... Could also be a simple "Favorite" banner; that is how the preview (1.2.148) functions at the time for me. It tells me wich are my favorites on the wishlist.
After Preview, I would set the number in the banner or mark it as a favorite, so I have prioritized future investments. Timesaver.
(Could be a useful feature in the collection tab as well.)

Yes - I could limit the number on my wishlist. Which would probably also mean I would buy fewer cards.
It would also make the "Featured" section superfluous. That is where I find cards today. Look at the girl, the preview, the 8 available fotos, and sometimes the coments.
Today I have 3 options :
Cards I dont care about, I remove preview if downloaded and do nothing else.
Cards I like, and would like to buy at some time, I put on wishlist. If it is one I like a littel more than most, I keep the preview, so it is marked as a favorite on my wishist.
Others that I like but can not invest in, in the near future, also goes on the wishlist, but I delete the preview. This is also cards that f.ex. would complement a collection or a series.

If I can not mark my favorites on the wishlist, it would have to hold only my favorites. Otherwise, I would spend all my days looking at previews to decide, what to buy (A large number to choose from is both a blessing and a curse).
I would then have to look for new cards to put on the wishlist, when it becomes empty, among all the girls, rather than the "featured".
I use the wishlist as a kind of accumulator for cards I like and would like to buy. And cards marked as "Favorite" (Preview), are the ones that will be bought first.

Having only the wishlist for marking, is kind of dividing all the cards into "don't like" or "must have" piles.
And that is very rude - I miss the "like, and will buy, when the current must have pile runs empty".

Hope this makes some kind of sense ;>)

I get where Totem are coming from. They are selling variety NEW faces NEW talent because thats what market wants.
Holding unbought cards and waiting to make collections of maybe's or waiting for just one model to complete playlists by members does not turn over sales.
Since VG the navigation of the software to get the show you want once you are used to ***** cards/clips etc ~ has improved outstandingly imho. It gets better & easier the more you use it. Old VG users who won't buy probably need a single step by step tutorial on navigation tricks .

Edit:
Just a few thoughts on what Totem found with the freeloaders.

Possible reasons peeps don't buy ANY cards:
1. ~ Only looking for something for nothing
2. ~ From countries where payment is denied or difficult
3. ~ don't want others (banks/wives etc) to see they are paying for
4. ~ peeps who could not/will not, get a real credit payment account

and

Possible reasons peeps don't buy ANY except 1 card:
How many of these are from..

1. ~ got a free card in earlier versions ?
2. ~ used a fake or stolen credit card to commence ?
3. ~ wanted bank statement to show just one small payment and no more.

There are obvious means to vet these by checking histories
but Totem needs to show large member numbers as a sales incentive & for p2p.
Disincentivising the dead wood who sit only on demos could convert to sales
but to be realistic, the numbers involved should exclude peeps who cannot buy cards.
With other software, trial versions have expiry dates to filter this. No buy ~ no show
