Trop de risque d'obtenir des cartes que je ne désire pas, et gaspiller des crédits.
Ce n'est pas ce genre de promotion qui me pousse à acheter.
Au contraire, ça me fait garder mes crédits....et comme ces promotions casino reviennent toujours, je n'achète RIEN, même des cartes qui m'auraient tenté.

Well I went for the 'deal' and got 5 dancers about 5-7 months old at full price and for my bonus ... I got a rock ( apologies to ***** Brown.) Actually the rock was card 11 and card 12 from the first generation of Virtuagirls ; you know, the ones that look like holograms of Princess Leia in the first Star Wars movie.

Should've just bought this week's new releases for the same price. 😕

What, if anything, would those of you who do not like any randomly selected cards in the Friday special offers prefer instead? Without this aspect the special offers are pretty much equivalent to a permanent price reduction - they would reduce to "buy your favourite cards cheaply", which we would all like but which is hardly practical from a business point of view. Totem, much to their credit, do occassionaly make some offers of that kind, but it can never be the norm unless they are overcharging outside of the offers.

When it comes to random boxes, I prefer the ones that let me see which cards I got before deciding if I want to buy or not. If I'm going completely blind I prefer not to spend my credits at all :P

thats stil no reason to buy "expensive crap" when you have better alts for building collection (480p, 720p and 1080p).

I don't think people expect a discount on all cards every week that is a special occasion kind of thing.
Maybe something more like has been done previously where there is a discount on a specific catagory eg. bikinis. I know on a few occasions I have bought cards that I would normally have bought because of this type of offer and I've really enjoyed them.
There is also the type of offer like last week where if you buy X number of the weeks cards you get one free next week. This could work even if it was an older card or maybe one from you wishlist.

But you know that before you buy, so why does it feel like a rip off? I assume if you buy a raffle ticket you don't feel ripped off if you win nothing or if you win a prize that you don't want.

You always have the possibility of buying exactly the cards you want. The special offers are something extra above and beyond that, something that you can ignore if and when they do not suit you.

This is gambling...don't gamble if you don't want to lose, but you have a 1.5% chance of getting 5 cards you want for free...so.....

"Geweldige aktie", 3 maal geprobeerd en wel 4 "gratis" kaarten ontvangen. Helaas geen van alle waar ik op zat te wachten. Zonde van mijn geld. Gokje wagen is dus duidelijk niet handig hier.
