At the last scratch game, since Kaiju replied on this thread, I asked him in a private message why as a triple diamond member my results were so bad (No SEC, unwanted 720p & 1080p cards for double almost triple their normal price). It seems he didn't understand my question. Despite the numbers I presented he insisted that this never happens and said I should "believe him" this was advantageous for me. He basically told me when I pay 25 credits on average for a card worth 8.8 (and that I don't even want) was "a huge bargain".

It seems from his answer they don't take into account many factors when they design these games. Every edition many bugs are reported.

Scratch game is probably advantageous for new members building their collection, who plan to get all the cards.
From what maxed-out members posted on the forum, this edition was advantageous for them, because they got the SEC and extra credits.

All other members are wasting their time and credits on the scratch game, because it is not designed for us to win SECs.

I'm asking @Totem, what's the point in me playing if I can't get an SEC (main reason for playing) and I get mostly lower quality unwanted cards for more expensive than what they are worth?

As other members have suggested before, all members who are between new and maxed-out members are the ones paying for this promotion. If we stop taking part in this, Totem will have to improve this game to make it worth it for us.

@willyweekly and @HansSachs. I support the desire to tag a clip without having to set up playlists. We can tick the box alongside a clip to prevent it playing the next time - so could that be extended to allow the marking as a favourite?

It could be easily done. I would support the possibility to tag both cards (above all) and also clips (why not) as Favorites. Some say there's no need of such a feature because it can be also done with playlists; but it's laborious, while with a specific function as the one proposed by you (and me) just a click would be needed.

The point is that the effective hardship differs immensely depending where in the world you are living. For me in Germany and you in Belgium trying for the "First One" badge means using iStripper at a rather convenient time, for others it means being awake at 3:00 in the morning. It is not that there is difficulty in gaining the badge, but that it is not the even approximately the same for everyone.

It's a bit weird they would remove the 20 credit prize if people were winning too much, they should have a compensator running to adjust the odds based on used credits vs wins/payouts like fruit machines have had for decades (~75% payout). Then again, i only know about the compensator because a friend used to work for a fruit machine company so maybe they haven't even though of it...

Isn't it the essence of earning badges?
I mean, for me badges is a way of showing that I do something special.

A feature of two of the badges, those for the "First One to buy a card" and the "4:20" achievements, is that meeting the conditions to win them will vary depending on your geographical location. Currently there's no such feature. A long time ago you could tag cards as favourite, but they took that away for some reason, too.

The 4:20 achievement is programmed to be won between 4:20:00 & 4:20:59 PM PDT time (Pacific time).
All members who deserve this badge will have it.

@JuppKowalski - I understood you the first time - but as has been mentioned several times in this thread by myself and others 13.20 CEST does not correspond to the time that Totem give as the target time for this badge. The time currently given on the achievements page before you win the badge is 4:20 PM PDT, as is the time appearing on the badge itself and in the most recent Erratum message from @Celine.

I can well believe that 4:20 am PDT was intended or that 4:20 am was programmed in error - but it is not what was published.

The questions that now arise are

1) What was the intended time, 4:20 am or 4:20 pm ?
2) If the intended time was 4:20 am will those that met the published conditions get the badge ?
3) If the intended time was 4:20 pm but the the wrong test was implemented what will happen to those that got the badge at the "wrong" time ?

A question for later in the year is what happens when Europe and the US seperately switch back to Winter time ? Will this comedy of errors be repeated twice, once when Europe switch and also when the US switches.

@Celine 's initial post on Friday did not mention the 20 credit win, nor did the original pop-up description. The post was edited shortly after my post regarding the discrepancies between the texts and the experience of playing a few cards, I do not know when the pop-up was modified.

My objection is not that we may lose in a game of chance. My objection is in Totem's complete and utter lack of ethics or respect when they alter so drastically the chances of winning mid game. This is not the first time they put out a scratch game. They should already know what to expect. Changing the rules like they just did is the equivalent of a casino removing all aces from a blackjack game while the gamblers are playing!

You should never gamble digitally, it is incredibly dangerous, much more so than mechanical gambling. you have to udnerand that the game can be different for each customer based on their collection, their win % in previous games...the game can give cards that are rarely bought or that an algorithm decides you are unlikely to buy based on your current purchases...it can keep you winning this week but make you lose next week. And obviously the odds can change daily. If the community was smart they would boycott the games until totem gives us the odds for each type of win and assures us the game is random. They have released broken games multiple times and having to be clear about the math behind the games might be helpful to totem as well.

I am pretty sure that the 20 credit prize was never mentioned in the main picture, nor in the initial announcement or any other post originating from Totem. The pop-up explanation originally mentioned 5, 10, 25 and 50 but this was changed and now has 10, 20, 50 and 100 credits instead - checked only a few minutes ago following a new start of iStripper). I have no idea if it is still possible to win 20 credits, nor am I going to test it - I did very well out of this promotion and have quit while I am ahead.

@lander. As @TheEmu says, the 20 credits given for a blank card was never promoted; it was obviously a bug or oversight and hence Totem were perfectly within their rights to fix it.

The game anouncement in @Celine TGIF post on friday quite specifically mentions the 20 credit prize so does the popup explanation (both verified seconds ago). So it is neither a bug nor an oversight. It is simply that they felt we were winning too much.

It´s quiet simple. If you get pissed by loosing, then don´t play games. It´s obvious that those games like scratchcards or slot mashines are made to make money. Just like in a casino, the bank never looses.

The text on the achievements page says 4:20 PM PDT, not 4:20 AM. This is also what @Celine said (after correcting it from 4:20 pm PST). She has also previously said that it corresponded to 01:20 CEST and to 23:20 UTC/GMT

Of course the description on the achievements page may still be wrong - it has been "corrected" twice already so we may well be in for a third correction, i.e. a fourth version of the target time. No matter what, it is getting to be beyond a joke.

Why cant we just pay 2x or 3x the credits to get the limited cards or bring them back on one day of the year so we can still have a chance to own them.

In German Time you should try it at 13.20 Uhr, not at 1.20 Uhr. You will get the Badge if you buy a card between 13.20.00 and 13.20.59 German Time.

230+ scratches and nada, I've gotten all the previous SEC's on earlier scratch offs but I really want the Stacy Cruz SEC and have had zero luck on these last couple of scratch off events. When I think I literally spent $150+ just trying to get that card has resigned me to the fact that I will just have to see these new SEC's sitting in the Girls Store forever unless some some other method of achieving them is initiated. I have all the cards except for maybe 15 of the 480P classics so I don't even get to take advantage of the "free cards" I scratch off.

I already keep a clock on my desktop set to Pacific Time, used for game updates... as that seems to be where they all operate from. Can my desktop look any more like an airport check in?

I tried yet again since the achievement badge was updated! Yesterday I bought a card at 16:20:04 PST! Today I bought a card at 16:20:10 PDT! And last week I bought a card at 16:20:05 GMT/UTC! Evidently, the achievement is broke! And I soon will be if I keep trying this *****!😈 At least I got the May 4th achievement! Happy Star Wars day everybody!😊

A few minutes ago it was 4:20pm PDT. I bought a card which is time stamped in my account history at 01:20:09. I did not received the the 04:20 award. I have since resynced with the servers have quit and restarted iStripper but that made no difference.

Just buy a card at 19h20:00 eastern summer time (same as 16h20 PDT)
and a second one, a few seconds later.
logout, login, synch with server.
The 420 achievement is still buggy.

i was the first person to post that the 20 credit prize existed and in that post I pointed out that there was no mention of it anywhere.

With the anywhere, totem takes it very seriously...

Dear all, yes I confirm from having bought lots of themed packs long time ago (there was about ten categories in VirtuaGirlHD) that you must have 10 or more cards eligible in store so that the system can propose you a pack and all 480p cards (so called Classic) are always out of any promotion (they have to be purchased separately on a volonteer basis since their quality is so degraded compared to today's standards).

You can't always take everything so seriously. 😉

It's probably just a collateral effect of lots of captious and exhausting logical disputes I previously had on this Forum...

@HansSachs - Be assured that your situation has been understood from the beginning. "Same for me..." referred exclusively to "You have already bought all". And the example with the SEC was just added as a joke.

I think your analysis is spot on @HansSachs. I bought 5 packs before it told me I'd bought them all. When I use the nurses filter there are 15 cards in the Girl's Store of which 6 are 480p which leaves 9 others - not enough to make up a pack of ten.

Agree with all the recent comments - for something that should just be a bit of fun it has generated a lot of traffic, late hours and lost sleep.

I agree with @TallandSlimMan ; on Istripper there still are so many issues (e.g. search function on forum, or defective cards) which - according to my opinion - we should all strongly rather ask to get fixed; such features are at the end much more important for all of us rather than a couple of - even if nice - achievement badges, which have no real function nor utility...

I do sympathise with the OP. I often play only non-nudity and topless cards in some circumstances. But as said, many of the newer cards don't have such clips. Being an older member, I am les choosy and still love the older cards despite the lack of quality.

If you want no stripping at all, you could consider Totem's iDancer application. It has a handful of girls who dance to the bear of the music.

How about Totem simply creating 1440 new achievement badges for every single minute in a day, and we can forget this nonsense...

You buy one card, get the achievement badge for that particular minute, and after checking what you won, you'll know what to do with with your next 1439 purchases :)

or a badge for buy all cards at the same time :)
