Now, I agree that this is what is known as a "legal fiction"
Not totally, I would say. It implies very much concrete things.
If credits would have monetary value, a member could for exemple say "Totem, I just won at Slot Machine a mega jackpot of 200.000 credits. As I use to pay credits 0,1996 euro/credit, now Totem you owe me 39.220 euros" - which he never will able to, instead, since he did suscribe T&Cs explicitely stating that credits have no monetary value.
It's legal matters to rule the world, rather than the opposite.
Other exemple: I buy a 500 credit pack. What can I do with them?
1. Absolutly nothing. I keep them forever without using them
2. I use them to get iStripper shows
3. I spend them in games and win a SEC
4. I spend them in games and loose them all
5. I spend them in games and win a jackpot
What are earnings (or loses) of Totem in each one of such cases?
In all cases, Totem gets (nor loses) absolutely NOTHING.
In all cases, Totem did earn 49.90 euros from me in advance, when I bought the credit pack. Whatever can I do with my credits, makes no difference to their wallet.
