Yeah, unless there is a hidden army of card buyers who couldn't figure out dolz and how to auction and LOVE Sia and trust the whole process AND want to spend 5-10x more for a card that offers nothing more than a $1 card then I imagine Danny will be staring at his dozens of Sia cards. There were about 10 people who bid close to 500 dolz, the rest stopped way below so those 10 are going to be fighting for 218 cards...so the price could actually drop quite low in the far future.

Dianna's solo cards are indeed gone. I still have the cards (with downloaded) clips but each card now says 'no longer available'. I expect this.

For some reason Dianna's duo cards with Kristina are still available. It does not say 'no longer available'. In fact, it still says the release date on the duo cards. Furthermore, the duo cards still show up on the website.

My understanding is that some users feel they bought the show so they could watch it for as long as they want without having to make saves which can always accidentally disappear. And are not interested in a refund.

Couldn't agree with you more. I've been part of this "community" for a year now and for that reason I've placed just a couple of bids. Maybe I should put 20 bids just to shunt off some of the others.... doesn't seem very community spirited to me. I sincerely hope that Totem produce a much larger number of cards in future so that everyone who wants to be part of this venture can be.

$299 is a price drop? It seems ridiculous to pay more than maybe $100 for a set.

The Quest 2 is easily the best selling VR headset, and it's wireless.
It recently just had a price drop to $299 USD, as the Quest 3 was announced to be released this coming fall ($499 USD).

The Bidding war would be to get the Lowest SN
which then on the Secondary Market, Should command a Higher Selling Price.

Now at the Limited Level, this might not be much of a difference, but the Lower SN's would create a bidding war.

Myself and Others placed bids on Multiple Numbers of Limited cards.

Depending on how High our Bid amounts are, this pushes the lower bids off the List.

If there are 130 active bidders, and 15 of them get pushed off the list with Minimal Bids.
because there are Members making Multiple Higher Bids on 10 or More entries,
Perhaps the Number of available cards at the Limited level can be Dynamic, and enough cards added so that all of the Active bidders still get to own one.

The Higher bidders still get the lowest SN cards,
the Multiple Bidders still get their Multiple cards
and every Active Bidder gets to own one at the Limited level.

It wouldn't be Unlimited, the Numbers would be Limited to provide a card to each of the Active bidders.

Maybe a timed Bid for Additional Bids after the 1st one.
If you Bid Once, it is Instant. If you Edit your 1st bid it is instant.
If you make a 2nd Bid or Edit a 2nd Bid, there is a time delay added.

I didn't express myself clearly; what I meant was that every bidder has a chance to acquire a card at a low price. However, there will always be some competition for the available cards because certain individuals may still have the opportunity to purchase more than one card. It's a delicate balance between allowing maximum participation and maintaining the price of purchased cards over time.

To achieve this goal, we will adjust the number of limited cards based on the number of potential bidders.

As far as I can see in order to acheive the aim that everybody who wants one can get one the number of cards produced must be at least equal to the number of "potential bidders", at which point it there is effectively no limit and no need for anybody who only wants the "Limited" level to bid anything above the minimum price and the auction (for this level) collapses into a fixed price sale.

An unavoidable aspect of an auction is that not everybody can get what they want.

This is precisely what we desire for limited cards. We will also make an effort to maintain a low entrance price for these limited cards. To achieve this goal, we will adjust the number of limited cards based on the number of potential bidders. For instance, a bidder may be limited to bidding on a maximum of 5% of the available cards for that particular rarity level.

@Evaneself, exactly - downloading with an other version of iStripper on an comp - restore then on the new version on an other comp in order to verify that the Backup procedure working - and it does :-)

BUT: You have to backup the subfolder e0807 up to e0812 from both folders! From the model folder and of course of the data folder too.

No, it would be not unlimited.
At the moment it should be 250 - 300 limited cards, instead of 218, so every of the 95 bidders get at least one card and the traders still get their card stacks. Looking at the numbers it's a difference of 60$.

The investors battle for the higher levels.
The three legendary cards have been sold for 240K Dolz, that's the same as all 15 epic cards together. The 59 rare cards together will be less and all limited cards even with 300 would be lot less.
So Totem makes the money with the high bidders/investors, not with normal iStripper users that just want one card for their collection.
The investors will never watch the shows, just resell them for higher profits.

Limiting the release of a card to everybody who wants to buy it is an oxymoron. That being said it is something I have seen elsewhere with so called "collectables".

Bidding for the Rare and Limited cards is pushing the value beyond the minimum bid levels.

I hope for the future NFT cards, that there will be a larger Quantity of Limited cards made available.

Istripper keeps track of the card State in the Models.lst file.

But what if the file is corrupt, and you do a rebuild collection,
then the old card State is Lost..

Well that used to happen..

member with large collections spent days disabling cards.
only to have windows crash, before iStripper wrote the card State to the models.lst file.

All that work lost..

Well, along came these files in the data folder.
a special file was saved in the data folder for each card state change.

Then during a rebuild collection, the data folder is scanned, and these Files, rebuild the state of the card.

That's all they are used for.

when the resolution of a card changes, there is a .vhdresolution file placed in the data folder.
when a card is disabled there is a ,vhddisabled file placed in the data folder
when a card is qued to be downloaded a .vhdaskshows file is placed in the data folder
when a card is deleted a .vhddel is placed in the data folder
when a card is Hidden a .vhdhidden is placed in the data folder
when you uncheck clips on the clip list an inactive.txt file is saved in the data folder

all of these files are the backup flags, so that if the models.lst file gets corrupted.
a rebuild collection can restore the previous state of the card from the Flag files in the data folder.
