i have started this account to try to get my old account back which i lost when my old computer crashed and i lost everything , everything that i needed on there i never logged out on (email & virtuaGirl) .......... this happened around 4 ,4&1/2 yrs ago only got a personal computer last year , was using the family computer , and now am trying to get old account back but cant remember passwords or the given name all i remember is my madeup name , can someone from admin please help me as i spent $100s on my old account ....... i tried to email but have had no response

Yup, you're right, buddy! What I made yesterday wasn't worth sharing for a good scene. I switched out the grass.png for another starscape background and got some really nice effects but still it wasn't good enough for a really nice scene.

the default download resolution is only for which resolution is automatically selected when click on a card for download (when this resolution is available for this card).
every resolution has it's own quality, no matter which settings you use.

the lowest quality has the classic cards (only available in 480p).
then came 720p - available for all VG and DB cards.
the 1080p has better quality than 720p but needs more space on the hdd.
the best quality have the new collection with 3k resolution. but they need more space on the hdd than the 720p and the 1080p.

No it won't. Older cards released in 720p and 1080p will still remain their true quality.
In 3K you can download only those cards, which are released in 3K.

If the card is available in 3K, but your download is set to 720p, there's still noticeable difference in quality of the older and newer (e) cards due to the higher bitrate of 3K.

As Wyld's suggestion goes .. you should download the cards according to your actual screen resolution. If you have a laptop, then 720p should be perfect, otherwise the models will go off the screen. (Don't know about the latest release, though). Desktop PCs with the larger monitors are good to run shows in 1080p or 3K.

Also the the higher quality needs much more space on HDD.

Have you played with @lezardo's basic vertex shader yet buddy? Guess what? We can mix the two! ie., fragment shaders and vertex shaders. Been playing around mixing and matching, changing settings, sin, cos and tan settings and came up with some really interesting effects. Needs more experimentation but this has some great potential, methinks :D

Here's a S-cap of my little effort at mixing them in the same scene.

Edit: The vertex shader part was not moving the background flowers but produced the weird mixing of the shaders like a graphic equaliser display :)

I'll figure out a way to mix the 2 so that both work as intended :)

We have been playing around using redefinitions in WebGL shader scripts generously provided by @TheEmu + @WA in order to create some pretty spectacular effects recently, so today we come back to earth with a thud to see some very subtle grass movement against a static 2D background. I'm ok with that, if its a primer for learning more.

I really wanna know, like many here, can we get some basic documentation together specific to VGPlayer compatible GLSL ?. Even just a listing of workable redefinitions to try in our script headers would be a great starting point yes ?

Its great to have a start, and I'm as thrilled seeing the word 'vertex' introduced from Team as I am about Issizu coming back ;).

Here is a sample scene showing 2 new points:

1. how to use the vertex shader
you can see in the scene definition that you can use the fragment AND the vertex shader definition.
In the sample scene, the fragment shader is doing nothing (you can remove it, but it shows that you can use both...).
The vertex shader makes a little wave effect (like a flag).
You can also declare your own variables in the vertex shader ex:

@Rita69, I don't think there is a typical percentage. But here are some stats for the number of models in our current top 10 chosen by those with posted votes.

We range from the unique perspective of @member84392371, who ran the head-to-head Virtuagirl Ladder so well for so long, with no votes in the current top 10, but votes for 7 girls on Classic cards, to 4 members who gave votes to 6 of the current top 10 (ct10).

6 of ct10 given votes: 4 voters
5 of ct10 given votes: 5 voters
4 of ct10 given votes: 5 voters (including me)
3 of ct10 given votes: 5 voters
2 of ct10 given votes: 8 voters (including you)
1 of ct10 given votes: 2 voters
0 of ct10 given votes: 1 voter

A handful of voters chose to give 3 votes each to 10 girls. Their choices clearly have a bigger impact on the poll positions than those who chose to spread their votes thinly over 20 or more girls.

Are there still updates from 720p to 1080p? And if so, where do I find the list of girls that I can update to the higher resolution.

Looks like a cool idea :) You need to upload your scenes somewhere to share them. WA has kindly offered webspace or you can choose your own source of course.

WA and others have also suggested that we use a standard naming system so that member's scenes will show up on the GUI under the creator's name as a clickable folder tree:

eg, +bsett - Towel Curtain.scn

You can zip up more than one scene if you like and call it, eg, '+bsett - Scenes'.

Add the '+' at the beginning and after your chosen name, space dash space. Do this on all your scenes and they will all show up under your name on everyone's GUI when they download and install them :)

Good on you Totem..absolutely jumping for joy! Isizzu has a really elegant & statuesque presence & flair which lights up any stage imho. All her cards will always live in my favorite playlistings.
