Hello!

I bought a new PC, and after rebuilding my entire models collection, I realized I was missing images of some of them (the card image and presentation images on the left of the screen).
Luckily, I had saved these images in an external folder, but now I don't know how to restore them in the GUI.
If someone could help me, I'd be very grateful.

Please give an example of one card.
Make sure the letter id is there.

These cards have all been withdrawn from the store.

Not sure this will work:
Go to your Windows Explorer
Open the data folder within the istripper folder
Find folder a0090
Find and delete or replace file a0090.jpg with your file

Do the same with other cards.
Close the app and reopen it to see if the images show.

If you Have a Backup copy of the saved image.
You should do as @JonC001 suggests,
But 1 Additional Step.

Using card a0090 as the example:

After you Copy the Image from the Backup folder to the Data folder of that Card.
Rename the file:
a0090.jpg --> a0090_custom.jpg

Why?
Because these models have requested their Images be removed
The App Might again replace the Original Image Name a0090.jpg with a blank image.
But it will Not remove the custom image a0090_custom.jpg

by renaming the image to a custom image, the app will keep the custom image

This also provide the Ability to Make your Own Image to use..

You can do this for ANY card
find the Data folder for a card
create your Image and save it as Lnnnn_custom.jpg
Where L is the letter of the card, and nnnn are the 4 digit code.


The Custom Image should be Sized:
162w x 242h

How does the App chose?
The App will always Use the custom image 1st if it exists.
If the custom image does Not exist, then it will try to use the default orig Image.

Using card a0090 as the example

how can I know the code of a card? I have really a lot of card that are no longer available, I would both like to:
1) backup just their files (all cards are too big to backup, and can be downloaded if needed)
2) change their pictures so it is not blank

I would also like to know what their original pictures on card were, this info is probably available somewhere online

I am aware that a card can be deleted at any time and I risk of not noticing and loosing it if my pc crash. But at least I would like to back up those who I know for sure are removed.

It is a ***** of the Terms and Conditions to share Images of Models that have asked to be removed from the store
That is why the card Images are Removed, because iStripper is Legally required to do so.

Do Not Ask for them, Do Not Share them.


If you Own one of the cards that have been removed and Have it already Downloaded.
You can Still Play the card Files even if the card image is Blank.
So it is an Easy Task to make a Screen Capture on your Own while Playing the card
and turn that capture in to a custom Card image.

I try to keep the List Updated, but I'm not Perfect.
So the List Might be Incomplete

It Includes Search Strings you can Copy and Paste in the Search Box to See if you Have Any of the cards in your Collection.

What do you See In your Collection view?
What does your Data folder for the Card Look like?

You do have to fully quit iStripper
make the Image changes to the data folder
Then restart iStripper to see the custom card images.
