I am elite member, but on bonus quests page it says that my current level is master. Can I get a fix for that?

The event page says 'unlock' cards but the bonus criteria states buy. Does this mean using Gift Cards (which are unlocking cards) don't count? Or is this down to the server issues waiting to be fixed to update unlocks?
