I love nude girls and the nude girls at Totem are always excellent. Better than any other web site, probably.

Did Dovile actually change her name to Divine?

Or is this only Totem's doing?

After I downloaded vghd and first looked at the application after copying all 141 girl's files to my computer, I noticed that Dovile was being called Divine.

Now, I see that my fully nude main pics are restored (except the last ten that I never saved and of which I never got nude pics), and that the girl is Dovile again.

But that is probably because of an older file before the name change. I checked the web site and verified that she is NOW Dovile. But did SHE change her name or did vghd make a change on their own?

Does anyone else see the name Divine, and notice that Dovile is now Divine? How do you feel about this?

It seems weird to me.

In all the time since I first came to vg (virtuagirl2 actually) nearly three years ago, I never before noticed a name change.

oh yeah - and she did't just change her name but her nationality too.

We'll let her count as a new girl :-)))

Sprugoo,

I have seen other users use the word 'thread'.

Can you tell me the relevance of such a word on the internet?

I mean, describe its meaning in relation to the web and/or forums.

JonC001,

gladly! A thread in the context of internet forums is just an ordered sequence of postings under one topic. For example, this post is (currently) the latest in the thread "Dovile" that you happened to create. Please see the corresponding Wikipedia entry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threaded_discussion) for a more extensive definition and a summary of the advantages and disadvantages of such a device.

EDIT: GeeseH, you beat me on this!

Thank you for telling me.

But your description must be lacking.

What you say could also go for 'blogs'.

I used to visit (and was a member) of an adult web site that had blogs AND forums. I only visited the forums a few times; never left any comments.

At that web site, I visited the blogs every day, and made lots of friends (later, numerous enemies). I wrote posts to my own blog and commented on others' posts on their blogs.

What is the 'USER' difference between blogs and forums, and what is a 'USER' definition of 'thread' that includes forums but excludes blogs (unless they also count)?

I do not care about a wikipedia or dictionary answer for this. I read this from people's posts and want to hear what at least one has to say about it in his/her own words (connotation).

JonC001,

thank you for this interesting thread!

As far as I can say Blogs as such don't are or form threads. They are sets of articles, each article has meaning by itself (or at least should have) and the article sequence order does not necessarily matter.

When people start to comment on an blog article or entry, their comments form a thread or comment thread. A necessary attribute of threads, comment or otherwise, is that they need a number of entries or postings to make sense, like a real-world discussion.

Forums, by their nature, consist of threads, each containing a discussion between the forum's members.

There! Thank you for your patience!

Hey Jon, thanks for mentioning Dovile/Divine here... i was just about to start a thread questioning why she was deleted! --because a few minutes ago, i only knew her as Dovile.

a couple weeks or so ago i really fell for her 'Red Kiss' sample performance, and made a note to myself how to be sure to order it when i have the chance, which happened to be this morning. Finding her rather vanished from the listings, my heart sunk.

Until i came across your thread.

Peace,
Kilgore

Jon,

Oh yes, i find Divine as the incarnation of Heaven itself..
and i've just ordered her Beverly Hills & Red Kiss selections, with the one you've mentioned -Pumpkin Day- being next on my list.

lately i've been relentlessly mesmerized by Lucie T. and Jenna Sweet... as well as by Zafira's Dungeon performance, and in result i've been getting rather lax in making further downloads.

...then along came Divine.
