How important is the costume to you when you are assessing a card.

For me, the costume is the most important factor. If I don't like the costume, I will not buy/view the card.

On the other hand, I will buy a card of a girl I am not so keen on, because I like the costume.

The costume is critical. It is the most important factor in judging a card.

The costume is not important at all.

If i have to judge a book by its cover or a card by its card pic then first comes the Faces of the Model and then the Costume.
The hairstyle is somehow related to the costume for example are braids ok for a ***** outfit but for all others i prefer the hair open.

Extremely important but there is also attraction, the girl's performance style, and whether or not she is actually good, which means that I won't always get the card because of the costume but will be tempted. Whenever I read "barefoot" or "thigh high boots" it usually increases the possibility of me getting the card. More to the point, I like Goth outfits, cop and military costumes, but also sweet and elegance outfits like Jenna Sweet's "Granny Smith" card or Marta's "Neapolitan Coffee" card.

Some people do not care about the costumes AT ALL and they get upset because the girl might keep it on too long or might not take it all off. For me, I love the costumes but would like it if the dancing fitted the costumes. For instance, Viki "Diablo" card would have been better if her dancing was more tribal and dark. A lot of the times the routine is the same regardless of the outfit, which makes the change of costumes pointlessly.

Yes, I would regard hair and make up as part of the costume.

I like Morgane in Ipanema club and White Sun. But I didn't like her hair or costume in Secret Agent.

On the other hand, despite not being a fan of Bijou's awkward dancing style and intellectually challenged look (I don't want to be mean), I eagerly bought Auckland nights because I loved the costume so much. Because of the costume she is great in that card.

i love costumes and really like the conventional outfits, in other words the sort of thing that girls might wear on a day or night out (as long as its relatively sexy), except that they willing flash everything.

Costumes are hard to get right for Totem as tastes are so varied.

Part two- And that is the worst thing about the site is that despite the different costumes a single girl wears, her routine tends to be the same. Only a few girls can really switch up their routines by slowing it down or speeding it up. Of course, some girls simply prefer to be slow and sensual like Walleria or quick and bouncy like Jenni Gregg, but Jenni Gregg is great because she does both.

It would be nice if the girls were taught dances that fit the costumes and if they have props, actually use them correctly. The worst prop on the site is the gun because of cheesiness involved in it. The paddle used by Sendy Silver and Stacy Silver is not used enough or correctly. But that's me nitpicking.

In fact I know of one case where a girl wears the same costume twice and does almost the same routine.

If you look at Ariel's Pink Disco and Search Again, she more or less wears the same costume twice, but with different colours.

In saying that, I am quite happy because I love Ariel and her style suits my taste, so all good for me.

@Apasas - I personally love Morgane's Flashy Babe costume and makeup. It was very toned down and ordinary. It made her seem more down to earth. Her natural beauty really shone in that card and it is one of my favorite card of hers.

@Apasas - of course, some girls will be great even if they are doing the same routine and Ariel is one of them. That is why costumes are not the primary factor in whether you get a card or not. You may really love the girl and buy all of her cards. I have all of Walleria's cards and she does the SAME THING in every card but who cares - she is gorgeous to me.

@Severin24 - Thanks for the heads up on Flashy Babe. It is certainly to my taste and will get it sometime, hopefully on a special. I like it because you could imagine her wearing it during a walk in the park. Except in this, you get to see her sexy white panties (and everything else I imagine).

Although I like Ariel in the two I mentioned, I will not be rushing to buy her other cards.

I ***** the costume in sexy rodeo. I ***** these contrived stripper outfits, and a cowgirl outfit is the pits. I am sure others will like it, but it is not to my taste. I don't care how gorgeous Ariel is, I will not be buying that card.

I am not so sure either about her costume in Fiery girl and private clinic. But I will probably pick up Red Diamond if it is a special offer.

The costume or outfit is important to me, maybe not definitive to purchase a card or not, unless it is totally hideous. As with many things regarding VGHD this days, the outfits tend to be dull and repetitive, as if the producers gived up searching for things to please and amaze their customers. The Halloween fiasco is one of the latest examples. The practically identical pink outfits and looks of Lea Tyron and Lola is another. Maybe when the Deskbabes product is released and running, their new toy and the only thing they seem to care about for nowadays, they will remember that VGHD is their main product and that neglected it so much could backfire badly, especially if Deskbabes goes below their revenue expectations.

Yes sometimes I think the costumes are bought in bulk. It is clear that the same costume, or part of a costume is used in different cards. And I don't judt mean your regular denim skirt.

Even the panties are the same. Ariel wears the same panties in Big Cuddle as Susan in Assistant Teacher. Again, Ariel also wears the same panties in Pink Disco as Tereza wears in Easydream.

In both cases they are identical, but I presume they are not exactly the same panties. Then again, if Totem is trying to save costs, you never know. Either that or Ariel just likes wearing other girls panties.
